I understnad that. See i don't expect them to think we will use our jakks figs and only want their new ones. Their figs will be a differnt body styel and i will want all ther guys in that version. I just want them to be in the same scale as old things such as figs that are no longer in wwe so that they can be in the same world. Also i hope they carrie on the RSR tradtion. It won't make a difference as far as scale and articulation goes Mattel will make them how they want them because they are a business and they want to sell their product. If they make a Triple H they want it to sell. They don't want you to say..."Hey I have a Triple H...I'll pass on this one" So if they decide to go with a 5" figure then that's what they'll do...you have to remember this board/collectors are such a small percentage of their targeted business. I can see that people will be upset, but at the end of the day they are just toys and if the sculpts are nice I'll buy them. Personally as much as I love the CS line I'm just glad that things like the thunder thighs/fat ankles Jakks gave us will be gone. Again my big concern with Mattel is their boy toys distribution. I can find any Barbie my daughter wants at any store yet I have a very hard time finding thier DC product. (Especially the JLU lines)

No offence Nap, but I'd at least wait Jakks lose the deal before mass-mailing Mattel about a product they don't even make.

There's no reason that Mattel couldn't use the RA style, Jakks don't have exclusive rights to it because loads of other action figures are put together the same way and they are figures of human beings so they would just have to remake the bicep, forearm, hand etc. Mattel will already be coming up with ideas so there's no point in waiting with these suggestions. Some people don't see why the figures shouldn't change like LJN-Hasbro-Jakks but back then they were just kids toys and the technology improved alot everytime there was a new toy company, now such a large part of the market is adult collectors it's much more important to keep the fanbase, another Classic Line could never exist unless everybody's prepared to start again, there's not going to be another load of overgrown kids that grew up on Hogan and Warrior that want to collect Classic figures because the CS line already got all those people collecting. So it's just as important for Mattel to keep the same fans otherwise they will only be selling to kids and will make alot less money.

None taken. But it is good to get people moving now. And good to let our voice be heard before teh companies start tooling figs so we can give input on the proper scale. Lakks has lost the deal as of 2010. That is fact. So we have 2 years to make our voice heard. And if we dont' act soon. The tooling will be done and over with. No offence Nap, but I'd at least wait Jakks lose the deal before mass-mailing Mattel about a product they don't even make.

I wish mattel did some action figures all ready because there is no example of what the figures will be like, all their stuff is low articulated and or baby toys.

Actually WWE owns the name Ruthless Aggression and Jakks owns the body mold for Ruthless Aggression. Thats why you see things like Barbies but dont have the rubber legs or certain type of head movement. You can get close but cant copy 100%

People keep forgetting of course, that by that time a new style of figure will probably have been invented or DAs will wipe out RAs so basically the change was inevitable.
Also, if you email Mattel now, chances are they won't have a clue about it. They'll probably give you some lazy-ass generic reply like "We do not have any information at this time" or "Thank you for emailing mattel. Unfortunately your question could not be answered due to our lack of consideration for all youse collectors" etc...

I don't think kids make up alot of the WWE figure market anymore, most people on here buy hundreds or thousands of figures, kids only buy a couple or if they have a big collection they have 20-30 in total (I often buy more than that in a week) so it is important for Mattel to keep those older fans that spend thousands (I've spent approximately $15,000+ in the last year, a kid probably spends or has spent on them $20-$50 a year). Also, it wouldn't mean they could no longer sell a certain figure that we already have, there are so many different attires and the current roster is always changing, they may lose a few sales from kids that can make do with an old style Cena but they stand to lose alot more money if someone like me isn't spending thousands because the figures were made in a different style.

My apologies man, I didn't know that they had announced Jakks lost the license yet. I seen that sticky after I posted my comment in here. Im suprised it was announced so early. I'm sure Mattel will make an announcement regarding the taking of the WWE line sooner or later anyway. None taken. But it is good to get people moving now. And good to let our voice be heard before teh companies start tooling figs so we can give input on the proper scale. Lakks has lost the deal as of 2010. That is fact. Thats why they are getting it in realy mail not email. You cant ignoer a huge box of letters as easialy as you can an email. God, I wish you people wouldn't speak out of turn. KNOW what you're talking about before you talk about it. They have the entire DC Comics license. Check out their DCUC line. It's JUST like Deluxe Aggression, except...uhm..BETTER. Again, all you morons are flipping out and you don't even know what it's going to be like. And in two years when you see the first products, I guaranatee that MOST of you idiots will be saying "Oh wow! These rock! I can't wait to get these". Bunch of fickle bastards.

You're totally missing the point, maybe you don't have many figures, it's not about how good the Mattel figures are, it's about whether they can be added to a Jakks collection, it's better for everyone if they can, it's the only hope of the CS line continuing and becoming as complete as possible. I already have a huge display of Jakks figures so I'm not going to start a new little collection of smaller or bigger figures next to it. Whether they keep the same scale or not determines whether I still collect wrestling figures or not so it's important to me because collecting is one of the things I do for fun. Mattel will never make all the CS figures again, adding to the Jakks line is the only way it will continue. So anyone who wants the CS line to continue wants Mattel to keep the same style/scale.

I will buy The Mattell figures if all of the following are meet.
A. They are 6 to 7 inches tall B. They look like the stars as much as if not more than the Jakks figs. C. They are in a mold better than TTL D. They are not 2 or 3 dollars more than the current figs E. They aren't cheaply made F. They have more than one body mold G. They don't have buttons that you push to make them do tricks
I might buy Mattell replacements if the above listing and the following things are also meet.
H. They are $8.00 or less I. The playabillitty is better than the above as in the leg molds for Rey Mysterio/Spirit squad style is better same as Morrison/JTG
The following I would buy even if it came with a figure I already had.
J. They come with painted belts K. The rings are real scale but are $20 and under L. They came with Backstage areas M. Steel Cages or hell in a Cells N. Real clothing O. Realistic or semi-realistic weapons (as in no labtops, Barbells, or barrells full of apples) such as tables, Breakable boards, ladders, chairs, barbwire bats, barbwire strands, barbwire chairs, tables covered in thumbtacks, puddle of thumbtacks, kendo sticks, ring bells, animal accessories, MITB briefcases, guitars, ring steps, Mr. Socko, etc.

Hey, if you sheep are content with having a Rey Mysterio that's the same height and body type as a HHH, or an Umaga that's as fat as Yokozuna..... that's fine and dandy....but a majority of us are not. The small percentage of you Jakks sheep are not going to amount to anything, so save your time..and wait it out.
You've got two years left..you've had 12. Let us folks who want something different to have ours......THEN we'll be getting good WWE figures. FINALLY.

Everything you're saying is wrong, the Mattel figures are very likely to be better than Jakks (it's not hard), we just want them the same height, why are you so desperate for them to be a different height? What would be better about that? Anyway, as cheap and nasty as Jakks are they are infinitely better than Toybiz whose figures look terrible.

To plasticsuperster: My sentiments exactly. You have the idea here. B/c matell will never be able to make a crash holy or johny stamboi Luther rians. I just want to add to my new set. I'm not damming Mattel Just ask for scale. Thats not much to demand? God, I wish you people wouldn't speak out of turn. KNOW what you're talking about before you talk about it.
