Your sole contribution in the various super 7 figure threads has been nothing but negativity. But It must be nice to have endless amounts of free time to peruse threads discussing products you don't even like. How much free time do you have to go through my posts on the various Super7 threads on two other forums? I actually like the properties they work, but it's disappointing that almost every wave of Ultimates figures they have made since 2017 still have major quality control issues. Ha. Well you are sporting the same username, so easy enough to spot but, yeah touché. I like their properties too but, I think I've just given up on them after seeing how poorly the Conan figures came out and the way they've been mishandling the Thundercats line.

I like their properties too but, I think I've just given up on them after seeing how poorly the Conan figures came out and the way they've been mishandling the Thundercats line. The Conan figures are pretty terrible. They look odd on the MOTUC buck body. But that could be excused if Arnie's face looked better. It looks nothing like him and it's made with that same waxy glossy plastic. And the oversized sword looks awful. Personally I was really excited about a lot of the properties, especially Thundercats. But all the quality control issues with all their stuff really turned me against them. So disappointed with how the Thundercats turned out. It would be nice if they could improve them but for all they are and the cost of them I just can't justify spending that when comparing them to other similar products I buy. I am hoping though that they sort their issues out as I would really like the Transformers Ultimates Bludgeon. But their NJPW figures really are a let down. Even when compared to a Jakks deluxe from 10+ years ago.

Got impatient and asked: Still at the port. This is fine.

I just received Okada from RSC. I'll take some pictures in my lightbox over the weekend, but a short review, for now.
The Okada figure is much better, in-person. The only thing that remains noticeably off from the original photos are the mixture of skin tones on the body. That said, it's not that bad. Paint applications are strong throughout.
The accessories are awesome, much better than I thought. I don't care about the cash stack, so the lack of accuracy/detail on that doesn't bother me. The title is WAY better in-person, and I'm really glad it wasn't made with vac metal. It wouldn't look accurate. The look and texture of the robe and necklace are top-notch.
Positives: Just about everything. Joints, ease of articulation for posing, paint applications, accessories, and packaging. Perfect for MOC and loose collectors.
Should be improved: Skin tones, stability of belt clasp. If you like to play with figures, these would be difficult for that purpose, I think.
IMO, is it worth $45+? That depends. I feel satisfied, because I love Okada. That said, there's not enough "wow" factor to get me to spend the same amount on any other figure from series 1. I'd love Ishii, and would like Tanahashi, but I can't justify spending this amount on another figure. I do have Naito pre-ordered, and will be keeping that pre-order. With everything included, it's worth way more than $20, and more than the $30 for WWE UE.
If you really love NJPW, or any of these talents, this is the ONLY solid option at this point in time.

This is beyond acceptable at this point. Super 7 will never get a dime from me again

Something about the world title just doesn’t look right. Like the paint isn’t lined up or something

I emailed them to see what the status of shipping to people who ordered from them directly. I got this back: "We are waiting for the okay to get the figures from port. We expect to begin shipping this week. You will receive an email with your tracking info once it has gone out." I have to admit, online stores in the UK shipping them this week before the company themselves has them is frustrating. Do you know what UK stockists have got them? The one I got mine from are still waiting for them

I was so wrong about these figures. In hand they are amazing. Okada is up for figure of the year. Can’t wait for series 2.

Just ordered Tanahashi from RSC. Went back and forth a lot, but who knows if we’ll ever get another in this scale. Full review and pics when it comes in.

I took a few more photos. Didn't feel like putting the robe back on.
I feel like it's a pretty decent figure -- but that skin tone feels SOO unnatural.
And it really doesn't seem like a big improvement over Mattel for a $45 price tag (I know the reasons why it's more expensive due to the limited production run, but still....

Have to say, after looking at the new Lucha figures -- it's really clear how poorly Super Seven did with NJPW. Lucha figures are 2 dollars cheaper, yet are double the quality. Not even comparable.

So you're just going to ignore the fact that the NJPW figs are also coming with clothing accesores(that are actually made out of cloth materials, and not plastic molded ones), title belts and way more extra hands? Or are these extra things worthless somehow?

This board has a real problem with trolls and idiots. I’m fine with differing opinions but uneducated ones can be warned then banned in my opinion. Moving on...
Has anyone received a shipping notification from Super7 yet?
