Just got my Bushi from the Ringside sale, has anyone else had trouble getting the other head sculpts on? The one that comes in the box is super loose on the figure but the others will not go on. I am going to have to heat them, I guess.

I've not had that problem with Naito, Hiromu, Tana or Ishii :/

I had a issue with one of the heads, unfortunately it was the one I liked best

I picked up all 8 Super7 NJPW figures last year at various points of time, I looked at them once, kept them in their boxes & put them away in totes. After getting a bigger bookcase, I decided to take them out of their boxes & display them. While taking them out, I was amazed at how cool they were. Many people kinda crapped on them a bit, which may be warranted in their cases, but I really enjoy them. They aren't perfect, but I'm now a little bummed that that line has died. Maybe Jazwares will get sort of deal to make some of these NJPW characters.

For what they were, I really liked these. There’s definitely issues with both waves, but had Super 7 and NJPW been able to get these out in a timely manor, there was some serious potential. I doubt it’ll happen, but I’d be more curious to see Powertown pick up where Super 7 left off, but they’re far more focused on North American based wrestlers. Storm has done a great job with their wrestling figures, but being drip fed 1 every two years isn’t what I’m looking for.

My gut says the next Matt & Brian are probably the last wrestling figures Super 7 makes. They pretty openly knock Super 7 these days when talking about the Andre figures and Powertown seems to be who they’re hitching their wagon to for now.

Hopefully Super7 continues making wrestling figures. Even though they are not perfect, they still look good to me & give us more wrestlers for our collection. I also like what Storm Collectibles are doing with wrestling figures like Hogan, Liger, Suzuki & the new Desperado figure coming. They are a little too muscular, but look & feel great!

Super 7 had confirmed about a year ago there were going to be independent releases of the figures from NJPW wave 3. Nothing has come of it, Super 7 had a lot of delay issues, and New Japan also gave them issues as well. Most of the names in wave 3 have figures out from multiple companies. These were cool as you could create some dream matches with other wrestling lines.

I miss this line. I think (besides Ospray's headscan) those figures all came out very good. Hopefully Super7 gets back involved in the wrestling figure game.

Finally got around to getting Naito and Hiromu (had Evil and Bushi). They look so beautiful displayed together…but they look incomplete without Sanada. It bugs me to no end that they didn’t do him…He should’ve been a Ringside Exclusive or something.

If I'm not mistaken, I recall word at the time being that Sanada wasn't actually signed to NJPW at the time and was on a sort of handshake deal. Don't know the validity to that, but that's what I recall reading. I do wish he was made as well though. I recall asking if something could be done about EVIL and Bullet Club at the time because just as the preorders closed he turned. Brian Flynn said maybe they'll try to do something small but nothing came of it.

I love the Naito (I think the whole wave is fairly strong minus the staining on EVIL), but I wish the belts were better. The IWGP title being completely unpainted was such a bummer because the one in wave 1 was so much better. And they skimped out on IC title, but that one didn't bother me as much. Had to upgrade the title with a Forbidden Figurines one.
