Have to say, after looking at the new Lucha figures -- it's really clear how poorly Super Seven did with NJPW. Lucha figures are 2 dollars cheaper, yet are double the quality. Not even comparable. I disagree, but you're entitled to your opinion. One thing that I will say is in favor of the Okada figure (only one I own), is that in-person, the body looks like a human being when displayed. I don't really ever feel like any other wrestling figures look realistic to the same degree, as most are stylized. It is by no means a perfect figure, but I wanted a 1:12 scale Okada. I look at it like this; the figure itself I might pay $15-20 for. The accessories, though, are worth just as much, IMO, and it shipped free. There was always going to be an increased charge with this smaller manufacturer. I feel that these would sell really well for $35, and I was willing to spend the additional $10.

I was able to get the belt back on by carefully trimming the top part of the pegs, removing the widest part, but keeping enough to hold the belt in place. It works. Try at your own risk.

Tanahashi from RSC arrived yesterday. Work has been crazy the last couple of days so I haven't even had the chance to open the box yet. Hoping to get pics and review up tonight or tomorrow.

Okada from RSC arrived some days ago. Nice box, nice packaging and everything is cool. But then, I opened the figure box and took out the figure itself to notice that my Okada has a broken arm (the pivot for the bicep is too short so it wont stay) and I thought "Well, it could happen, it I'll glue it and sacrifice an articulation". BUT THEN I NOTICED ANOTHER THING: MY FIGURE HAS THE ELBOW UPSIDE DOWN SO IT CANNOT BEND FORWARD, BUT ONLY IN THE OPPOSITE DIRECTION WHAT THE 🤬 SUPER7

This board has a real problem with trolls and idiots. I’m fine with differing opinions but uneducated ones can be warned then banned in my opinion. Moving on... Has anyone received a shipping notification from Super7 yet?
How is it not a valid opinion if someone doesn't own something. We all have eyes -- and can look at something.
I think the Super Seven Ninja Turtles are AMAZING figures. Is that also not valid because I only own a handful?
So I can't look at two cars and decide which one I like better if I don't own one. Grow up.

Following up on that -- for figures like NJPW, there is no way to buy them at retail.
So the ONLY way to decide if you want to buy them is looking at pictures; but then you're telling me I can't look at pictures and decide what I think of them compared to picture of other figures.
Come on.

Doing a poor job of deflecting your previous statements instead of adding any validity to your opinion. Having an opinion based on pictures is fine but making over the top claims that the Lucha figures are double the quality is not. The quality of both are comparable which is something both experts and fans can agree upon. Both have their positives and negatives. As mentioned, the Lucha figures do not include any soft goods. If they had, their price point would not be two dollars cheaper. Additionally, the Lucha figures are roughly 1 inch smaller (again, reducing the cost). The Lucha figures have more articulation but look less realistic as a result. Their hard good accessories are also severely lacking compared to the NJPW figures. Rey comes with a Kendo stick and Penta comes with a light tube whereas every NJPW figure comes with a detailed belt and 1-2 other hard accessories.
If you want to try and make comparisons on deco or face sculpts, it’s hard to do that in an apples to apples sort of way. Rey and Panta’s gear are mostly mold-based with very little paint deco necessary. Their tattoos look pretty good (they pop too much for my taste). You can’t really compare that to the NJPW figures as they do not have any tattoos (they are taboo in Japanese culture). The head sculpts and paint applications are where it is really hard to compare. As a whole, the Lucha figures look better to me. However, their faces are obscured by masks and face paint. It’s a lot easier to get away with certain details as a result. The execution of the heads is where NJPW and Super7 were lacking most...but Boss Fight didn’t do “twice as good.”

Any updates on those hand packs ? No, it will be months. Someone told me there was another issue with another Super7 line, and they promised 10/31 for fix packs, and people ended up getting them recently.

Come on. If anything this is yet another lesson in the importance of taking good photos. Jazwares learned the same lesson with the early aew figures photos that did not come out well. I ended up ordering these from ringside after reading people's reviews, having cancelled my pre order from another company. As everyone has said, they look infinitely better in person and actually came out really great. If it wasn't for people's reviews though, all I would have had to base my decision on was those awful photos.

Yeah the Thundercats booster packs were supposed to be going out by mid-November according to Brian Flynn in an interview and I only got mine last weekend. Then again glow in the dark Mumm-Ra was solicitated for January and it actually came out on time. So who the hell knows anymore with those guys.

Ishii looks short, but I have not seen many comparison photos.

I did get a shipping label update...from Boss Fight Studios (the company that makes figures twice as good).
