So I was the biggest supporter of JJ Abrams and Disney doing a Star Wars movie and I have to say this trailer looks bad. What a true disappointment.

Perfect trailer for me, no idea whats gunna happen in the film (thats why im gunna watch the damn thing) and there where enough glimpses of awesome as crapstuff to get me ing excited! |

I was kinda expecting to see the face of Leia, Han, or Luke, but instead we got the face of John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, and Oscar Issac's characters.. That's OK though because getting to see the Millennium Falcon was nuts! I didn't get 'Jurassic World type chills', but when I realized I was watching a clip of the Millenium Falcon in battle, I lost it! It was truly a teaser trailer.. And the voice over sounded like Benedict Cumberbatch.. So I was the biggest supporter of JJ Abrams and Disney doing a Star Wars movie and I have to say this trailer looks bad. What a true disappointment. Why so glum, chum? What disappointed you about it bro? |

I watched this and literally thought it was a fake fan made trailer and then found out it was real and my heart sunk a bit. The sith saber is ing stupid and I LOVE gimmick sabers. The Sith's voice over was incredibly weak and the lines were dumb. It sounded like someone trying to sound cool not someone who just sounds cool. Also the logo is disgusting and the fact that since the title was announced "Episode VII" has dissapeared has me worried for now. I liked some of the stuff in it but I'm not sold on the movie I have waited literally my entire life for and that is a problem. The best part of the trailer was inadvertently probably that stupid saber as that pretty much confirmed all the other concept art is likely confirmed as that dumb saber was in that concept art. I just really really hope they dont break film style continuity. I want my opening crawl and wipes etc. |

I think it's great for a teaser. Showed us a bit of the tone and some awesome stuff to get us hyped. I thought the saber looked cool how it's more shaky meaning that the saber might be fire or something, but the little things at the bottom are pointless. Falcon looks great, everything looks pretty good and it still seems like a Star Wars film for the most part. It's just a teaser, so we shouldn't be going too crazy just yet.
