Yeah that guy is right pop is bad, fruit juice can be staggering in amounts of sugars and calories seriously. Here is what helped me, get a food journal and write down everything you eat. Stop guessing and actually measure it. If you want a handful of chips measure it and write down what you eat (this stunned the hell out of me when I did it). Awesome healthy snack is tuna fish (I have a can at my desk always incase I get hungry at work)1 can is 100 calories and 24g protein. Without working out at all you are maintaining your weight of 225lbs with 2456 cal/day (perhttp://caloriecontrol.org/healthy-weight-tool-kit/assessment-calculator/)so taking in fewer than that, either through diet or exercising burning calories or a combination of both you will lose weight. If possible I would recommend joining a gym, building muscle burns more calories than cardio (muscle as rest burns more calories than fat so the more muscle you have the more calories you burn at rest)if you'd like I am more than happy to help you come up with a good starter routine. As for the man boobs, here is the bad news, you can not spot reduce fat, this is why people (kevin owens) can be pretty fit but have a gut. However chest exercises help build up the muscle under the fat which will help firm up your chest as you work towards the body that you want. While you are working on your food journal, also write down how you feel, all your thoughts because man this will get hard at times so stay positive, write down the little wins, like I did not eat the doritos today or I passed up free donuts at work. Don't let friends or anyone pressure you in to eating poorly, you know the body you want and you are going to work hard to get it. I've gone from 375lbs to 280. I know what you are going through bro, and if you ever want to talk let me know Would love help with a starter routine! Thanks for the info man

Cutting out the soda as of tomorrow. I started slipping and one can of Monster turned into 3 a week again. I'm gonna renew my membership at the gym and start getting back into a routine.

Went to the gym yesterday to see how much I could Max out 100lbs at. It was 64 reps.I felt pretty proud of that since I haven't lifted in a while. (Use to do 225, 27 times. While weighing 203lbs.)

Down to 226. The weigh in is Thurday at noon and I was a full percent from 1st place and I've lost about the same as the guy in 1st this month, so unless I can drop 10 pounds in two days, looks like I'll be settling for the $300 2nd place. it... free money plus i'm healthier now than I have been in years. November 2015 - 275 pounds May 2016 - 226 pounds

Weighed in today for the final weigh in for the weight loss challenge at work
I weighed 220 pounds, with a total bmi percentage loss of 9.9%
Looks like I'll end up with the $300 2nd place

I'm the heaviest I've ever been. I'm joining my local gym tomorrow morning and signing up for an online trainer that will write up weekly nutrition and workout programs for me. I'm pretty excited to begin the journey. I'm also going to incorporate some DDP Yoga into my workouts.
Time to get jacked up, boys and girls.

well, i got back in there. shoulders are a weak point of mine for sure, have a bit of damaged function of them that i'm gonna lightly rehabilitate before i start really giving them heavy training.
cardio is a bitch. i'm a pretty light dude, 185 lb at 6', and i just die on the stairs going level 6 for a half hour....and it's only 200 calories burnt. i can only imagine how much more effort it takes for someone who's larger to do cardio, so to all you guys cutting down your bmi's, much respect.

I was 286.4 pounds 3 weeks ago. Now, I'm 273.0 pounds. I didn't think I'd lose that much so quickly, but my goal weight is 200 pounds. I'm starting my 4th week of running; currently 2 miles in 22.5 minutes. I've stopped drinking soda, eating candy, eating fried foods, cut my calorie intake, and watch my sugars and chemicals in processed foods.
It was a little spontaneous, but it all started to click. "There is an algorithm for all things possible" ALS. I like to set personal goals, and I signed up for a summer series of 3 - 5K events. I can't wait for my first run on June 11th.

I like to set personal goals, and I signed up for a summer series of 3 - 5K events. I can't wait for my first run on June 11th. You'll enjoy it, ive been doing long distance running since the start of the year and had my 2nd 10k event yesterday. You'll find running with others and crowds cheering you on gets that extra 5% out of you, plus you usually get a nice medal and t shirt as mementos. Ive got a few events over the coming months but I've started dabbling in half marathons so I think Il be entering some of them next year. I live near where the Great North Run takes place, which is the largest Half Marathon event in the world.....so I'm hoping to do that for charity next year. Good luck!

Went back to the gym this morning and paid for the week ahead since my membership ran out and I don't feel like renewing it right now. I'll be in every night this week and I'll probably do the same next week. Didn't go too crazy today, did 30 minutes of bag work and then did some squats and leg presses afterwards.
Gradually built up from 15kg to 45kg on the squats, and 20kg to 55kg on the leg press.

took today off but am still gonna go in for some cardio/abs. am starting to really see the improvements. if i can just stick to this for a straight 4-6 weeks, i'll be right where i want to be i think. going down to 12% bodyfat is going to be difficult, but very very achievable. gonna do legs/cardio tomorrow. i need to start implementing more body weight exercises to increase core strength. also need to start on the dpp yoga.
i'm really pumped for this product coming out next year, any of you seen the preview? :

Tried out DDP Yoga on the app for a change rather than the discs. The workouts on the app are a bit longer and seem a tad more difficult than the ones on the discs. I've done the Double Black Diamond workout many times before since its my favourite and it still damn near kills me each time.
