Sup all. I made one of these a year ago.
So, I have moobs and I am about 5'10" and 230 pounds. I really need to cut weight and I have a tendency to eat a lot. I sit inside and game almost all day. I used to have access to a gym and don't anymore. I do have weight bench downstairs and I believe a curling bar? That's it.
I really need help guys. This has gotten ridiculous.
Please help!

I work out a few times a week, a little perk is the gym I go to gives a nice discount to employees of the company I work for. Nothing too major, just trying to drop some pounds, that's it.

Christmas season always makes me put mad weight on so I personally have cut out sodas and alcohol and started jogging / walking more often as well as attending the local gym, it's not a ton but its a start I guess.

I cut out soda and candy at the start of the year and I've already lost so much weight. I'm in the gym basically every night, doing arms/shoulders on Monday, cardio on Tuesday, core/back on Wednesday, legs on Thursday, and cardio on Friday and Saturday. When I first started going to the gym last August, I could leg press around 50kg. Now, I can do 120 for 10 reps. Aiming for 150 next.
I have one cheat day a month (usually the PPV for that month) where I order a pizza and wings for the show.

Try some jump rope, it's great cardio and gets you sweating quickly.
To start with. Jump 100 reps, rest for 30 secs x5.

Was 5'11 234 four years ago, three years ago I got down to 180. Since then I'll let myself up into the high 190's during the winter but get down to the 170's for the summer. I lift heavy four times a week, limit my calories to the 1,500-1750 range, and walk at 3.5 MPH on a steep incline on the treadmill 3 times a week for an hour. Doing this gives me what I would term a "low budget" movie super hero body.

What did you replace them with?

What did you replace them with? Vitamin Water. It's sweet, and flavourful, but not bad for you either.

Green tea as well as other sugarless teas are a good replacement for soda. Home brewed, not Arizona.
A real challenge, Kevin Smith gave up processed sugars and lost 85 pounds in a pretty short amount of time.

I like to shadow box with small weights in my hands 3-5 lbs for about 30 minutes. I do about 50-60 curls with my 25lbs dumbbells. I'm a bigger dude so I do girl pushups but they work anywhere between 25-35. Do squats and walk quite a bit. It's easy and free. I also have a punching bag I love to tear up all the time. It relives stress like nothing else. My problem is dieting. If I ever started some sort of plan I'd lose weight quick.Always stretch first it's relaxing and helps you limber up. I don't know what it's called but I think the nickname is prison pushups. You stand inbetween two solid objects that could support your weight and lower yourself while you cross your ankles. That one is a killer though.

Like 4 days without soda. No room outside to workout due to the snow and no gym.

I was starting to get overweight a couple years ago, so I just started hitting the gym nearly every day doing cardio. Half the battle is keeping motivated for the first few months, now its just a daily routine for me. I lost about 34lbs and am fit as I've ever been. I invested in a weight vest to wear during cardio and the weight fell off. I tried to dabble in strength training but it wasn't for me, so I'm mainly just doing cardio with a bit of abdominal workout thrown in. I'm also now pushing myself training for a charity 10km run in May, my best time so far is 49m 48s and hoping to get down to 45m. Ive never really altered my diet that drastically just a couple substitutions, id rather put a bit more exercise in than cut out the foods I like.
