Trying to put on some muscle mass but don't wanna take weight gainers as I don't wanna gain BF Creatine is a pre-workout supplement that increases the body's ability to produce energy rapidly. I've been using it for about 6 months in pill form before I workout and I'm loving it.

Do you have to cycle it?

I know that it also draws water to your muscles to make them look bigger. Have you noticed that? Do you have to cycle it? you definitely gain water weight while on creatine. it also makes you able to use your strength more efficiently and burn energy for longer without getting tired. these are all mega benefits. and considering that creatine is naturally found in different things we already eat, there's no real worry about side effects or doing something unnatural to yourself. here's an interesting video on how creatine doesn't work for some but does certainly work for others: i personally go one month on, 3 weeks off.

I use it every other week and the benefits are great with no side effects. It's a very natural source of energy.

Went to the gym today and walked on the treadmill for an hour. The only problem I had was the amount of pain my shins were in.

I've cracked 229 but I'm kinda hovering about 231 currently. I've had some weekends recently where I've ate piss poor and drank too much beer but I'm steady at it. I'm now considered overweight according to BMI which I started out in the obese category. I've never packed on muscle well even in high school football animal workouts. I consider myself to have more brute strength than anything since I have a solid wide frame. I'm 6'2 230ish now. I would really like to hit around 205-210.
Over the next six weeks I'm going to put in a valiant effort to clean up my diet even more and increase my cardio routine and also start doing the red hot core 2-3 x's per week from DDP yoga.
Overall, I'm very pleased. I haven't been this light since 2014 when I got down to 227. I got up to 282 in 2015 and dropped to 245 only to go back to 272 now back down to 230ish. If I can help it, I'll never get above 240ish

Tomorrow will be my second day in the gym, ready to be losing breath. The thing is, I want to keep going and stuff on the treadmill, but my shins kill!

Went on the elliptical for 5 minutes and just couldn't do it when trying this workout below. I ended up doing a regular and went 25 minutes.
I also haven't been eating nearly as much either and only drinking water.

I need to lose some weight cause I'm 13yo 5'9 and 275-285. I'm built like a linebacker but I have man boobs and it socks. I have JRA and Asthma so exercise hurts. I try for 10,000 steps a day and I drink 4-5 water bottles a day and rarely drink soda and rarely have candy or chips. I want to know how to lose the most weight the fastest.

You may want to seriously look into DDP yoga. I own it and would literally recommend it to anyone

At 13 can I really lose anything on a treadmill. My mom was in the hospital for 2 months (Stabbed) and the only thing there was McDonald's across the street so from April 18th to June 5th I only really had McDonald's Much regerts now lol but I want to get back to 250 as before it happened You have to fix your diet. It's at least 80% of weight loss. Also, from my anecdotal experience running to lose weight doesn't work as well as weight lifting and watching what you eat. I don't know why, but it just doesn't. I have a relative that runs half marathons & still has a big belly. If you can learn to like weight lifting you'll be better off in life going forward. And @ 13 you have time to learn to like it.

I learned in biology 242 that at rest muscle burns 10x the calories as fat does. Thats why lifting weights burns more calories.as you gain muscle mass your caloric demand increases. And if your food doesnt increase the rest of the needed calories come from stored fat. Lift heavy.
