Man, this thread makes me think Hogan is even more of a jackass than I did before. On topic- I read in Jericho's book that he was originally in the WM 2000 fatal 4 way, but he didn't really get over so he was replaced by Foley. ironically, I feel the same way about the guy in your sig because he did much of the same.

A ladder rematch was actually announced between Kendrick and London/Hardyz/Regal and Taylor/MNM at some PPV...was cancelled for some reason. And God knows how many other matches have been actually announced and then cancelled or changed. This match DID happen, unless there is annother occasion you are talking about, at Armaggedon 06. It was the match where Joey Mercury got his face ed up

Fair point. At least Michaels grew up though, Hogan still seems to be a dick.

CM Punk was meant to face Chris Benoit at Night of Champions 2007. For obvious reasons that didn't take place. Apparently the original plans were for Booker T to win the World Heavyweight Title at WM19 but that was changed at the last minute. Eddie Guerrero was supposed to win the World Title before he passed away. Hogan was supposed to job to Shawn Michaels during their feud but went down with an 'injury' before the match could happen. I am really intrigued by things like this too. Triple H thought that booker T wasn't over enough to win the title at mania 19 , aka triple h sees himself as better than everyone who has ever competed outside of flair and hbk. Sadly HHH did this to a few guys during this time period. Back in 2000, HHH was suppose to drop the title to Jericho, but Hunter convinced Vince that Jericho wasn't over enough(look at the pop Jericho gets when he "won" the title). Goldberg was suppose to go over at SumerSlam 2003, but Hunter got Vince to keep the belt on him for another month even though he was injured. When Orton won the WHC in 2004, he was easily the most over heel on Raw, but Hunter was one of the guys who suggested turning Orton face, and thus Orton's title reign bombed and Hunter once again recieved the strap. Booker is still the one I'm most pissed w/ though. He was the most over face on Raw and the whole stroyline was built for him to take down the villian, yet Hunter convinced Vince to keep the title on him for a future HHH vs Goldberg match.

Fair enough, Jericho on that night got an outrageous response, but if you think about it, Triple H was still a much more profitable champion than Jericho ever would have been. It's also the fact that Jericho was sort of stiff, didn't sell as well here (the only downfall to his amazing talent at this point in time). 2) If you have a look at it this way, that Elimination Chamber match could have only resulted in Goldberg squashing everybody, and damaging everybody's momentum (except maybe Nash and HHH) and thus becoming predictable. If it happened any slower, i.e. Goldberg still winning but not in the dominant way, it would have hurt Goldberg's character as a monster force in the company. This is why the twist ending for that match worked. Nobody expect Hunter to win, and this increased the buyrate for Unforgiven (where, as well as the "If Goldberg loses, he leaves" stipulation, it was very predictable that Goldberg would win and make people buy to see it live). Just a few perspectives you should probably look at, I understand your points but I felt like adding these.
