Cena/Batista at WM25 was discussed after SummerSlam 2008 but Batista got injured in the end of 2008
in 2008 there were plans to have Batista vs Cena vs Orton in a World Title triple threat match
Diesel vs Razor Ramon at SummerSlam 1995 WWF Title... if only that happened then hall would be a former WWE champion DAMN IT
Austin/Big Show at WM 2000 or Taker/Austin/Rock/HHH at WM2000 but Austin/Taker were injured at that time
at WM25 Austin vs Jericho and Cena vs Hogan
Taker/Cena at WM28 and Taker/HHH at SummerSlam 2011
and thank god we never got HBK/Bret at WM13 there WM12 match was over rated but still a classic and if that match happened at WM13 we wouldn't have gotten Austin/Hart
Angle/Perfect at WM18
Sting/Taker at WM18 and WM27
Sting coming out at WM17 after the Austin/Rock match and after the WM19 Austin/Rock match
Vince tried to get Austin/Hogan at WM18 WM21 WM22 AND 25
i remember in an interview Benoit and Guerrero both said that they would have their last match together at a WM but they didn't say which WM if they were still alive they would most likely have their last match at WM30
Hogan/Flair at WM8 i believe with Savage in Hogans corner and Sid in Flairs corner then after the match the return of the Ultimate Warrior
Triple H vs Lesnar sometime in 2002
Austin/Lesnar at WM19
Goldberg vs Austin at WM20
Bret vs Taker at WM11
At Unforgiven 2001 Austin was suppose to Retain his WWF Title against Kurt Angle with Regal screwing Angle but because of the 9/11 the WWF wanted a happier ending so Angle won and then 8 days later Austin won the Title back with the help of Regal
Del Rio was scheduled to win the WORLD TITLE at WM27 but the WWE knew there was a big chance that EDGE would retire so they let edge win in case Edge retired which he did so Edge went out on top with a happier ending
The Rock vs HBK was talked about in 02 and 03 and 04 but neither men wanted to work with each other
Luger winning the WWF title at WM10 but he ruined his own push by telling a news reporter so Yoko beat Luger to retain the WWF Title only to lose it to Bret in the main event
there's loads more but these are all i know I'll post more if i find out anymore

Royal Rumble 1994...a change due to a botch....Luger and Hart both going over and both hitting the floor WASN'T suppossed to happen...only thing i don't know is which one of the 2 was suppossed to win the Rumble...something tells me it was probably Hart, since Luger and the 'Lex Express' had run out of steam by this point.... This isn't true. Bret talks about it in his book. The entire thing was carefully planned. If you watch the "debate" between the two refs after the match it's obvious it was planned. was going by HBK's book, where he mentions that the ending to the 94 Rumble was botched because he wanted to do something similar for his 95 Rumble win - dangling just above the floor - but Vince was hesitant cause they tried it for the ending of the 94 Rumble but it didn't work and they both hit the floor...

Bret was leaving the company in the WWF which we all know about and the WWF screwed Bret in Montreal out of the WWF Title because Hart wanted to win and forfeit the Title to HBK the next night but Vince thought Bret would take the belt to WCW... having the iron man match II would have been lame so im happy we got Hart/Austin at WM13 instead

Undertaker and Kane vs. Snitsky and Heidenriech at WM21. Had this happened I believe we would've gotten Orton/HHH and Batista in MITB.

i remember in an interview Benoit and Guerrero both said that they would have their last match together at a WM but they didn't say which WM if they were still alive they would most likely have their last match at WM30 That would have been awesome, with the back story of 10 years ago closing Mania at the Garden together and then going at it in a retirement match would have made a great wrestling match and moment.

Would have been amazing in 93 if Bret had gone through Warrior at the rumble savage at mania and hogan at Summerslam. Would have made him a even bigger legend than he is now I am sure Bret vs Savage would have been a classic I know they had a couple of matches before Bret was a star but in 93 I think it would have been a classic.
I also think he would have got a very different match out of the Ultimate Warrior than we had seen before.

Triple .H. and Austin breaking apart from the Two Man Power Trip, with Triple H leading the WWF and Austin leading the Alliance...HHH got injured.
William Regal facing Triple .H. for the WWE title in 2007 or 2008 (don't remember), when Regal was getting the big push as G.M., even rumored that he would win the title...but Regal got suspended.
Ken Shamrock beating Bret Hart for the WWF championship, I think after Survivor Series...but Bret decided to go to WCW.
At some point in early 1998, Bulldog and Shawn were to have a rematch, I think for the WWF title...Bret got screwed and Bulldog left.
A ladder rematch was actually announced between Kendrick and London/Hardyz/Regal and Taylor/MNM at some PPV...was cancelled for some reason. And God knows how many other matches have been actually announced and then cancelled or changed.
Chris Jericho was going to get a big push and win the WWF title in 2000...that changed...
Triple .H. joining the nWo, making the nWo into the Kilq, with HBK, HHH, Nash and Pac...Nash got injured.
Kane winning the World title on May 19th...fought Mysterio for the title on the date, and for some reason...lost.
Randy Orton vs Kurt Angle one on one, with Orton winning, at Wrestlemania 22...Eddie passed on, and Rey got pushed instead.
Hulk Hogan was going to face Greg Vallentine with Iron Sheik in Valentine's corner at Wrestlemania 22...Hogan pulled out...can't blame him...
Shane McMahon vs Hulk Hogan has been rumored many times.
Hulk Hogan vs Great Khali or Big Show at Wrestlemania 23, the 20th anniversary of the slamming of Andre the Giant...Hogan pulled out (what's new), and Kane took his place.
Mick Foley vs John Cena around Wrestlemania 22 or 23 I remember being a rumor...never happened.
John Cena vs Hulk Hogan around the same time was rumored...never happened.
Mick Foley's participation in Undertaker and Edge's Hell in a Cell match...either Foley left before it happened, or they decided against it, don't remember.
The numerous number of people that have been rumored to beat the ''streak''...
Shawn Michaels vs Chris Jericho (I think in a Ladder match) at Summerslam 2008...they instead decided to further the feud, and have Y2J punch Rebecca in the face.
Vince Russo coming in in 2002 or 2003, wanting to do another Invasion, this time with Eric Bischoff, Goldberg, Sting, nWo, Scott Steiner, etc. etc., all the big names that weren't part of the Invasion in 2001...Russo was demoted to a smaller position and then decided to leave the company.
An Eddie Guerrero/Steve Austin feud in 2002...Austin left due to the whole thing with Brock...which lead to the next one...
Brock Lesnar going clean over Austin on RAW, in a King of the Ring qualifying match...Austin left, disagreeing about the situation.
The Undertaker turning mega heel after burying Paul Bearer in cement, and going on to face Eddie Guerrero at Summerslam for the WWE title...JBL won the title.
Chris Jericho dropping the Unsiputed title to Kevin Nash in 2002 before Wrestlemania, leading to Triple .H. facing Kevin Nash at Wrestlemania x8 instead of Jericho...didn't happen...thank God.
The numerous times John Cena has been rumored to turn heel…has never happened…yet.
Batista ending Ric Flair’s career at WM XXIV, and Shawn Michaels facing JBL…I guess they realized this would stink big time.
Chris Benoit vs Brock Lesnar at WM XX for the WWE title…Eddie Guerrero instead got a huge push and won the WWE title at No Way Out.
Rumors of Goldberg vs Austin in 1999, even Bret acknowledged it on WCW tv, the time Goldberg speared Bret, and Bret had the steel plate on…never happened.
The numerous times Sting has been rumored to debut in the WWF/E…has never happened…yet…ah who are we kidding, it never will.
The Undertaker vs Shawn Michaels at Wrestlemania 13, 23, and 24…HBK was injure for 13, HHH got injured before 23, HBK took his place, and at 24, just didn’t work out.
WCW becoming its own brand, either taking over Smackdown, or restarting Nitro, after WWF bought WCW, this was tried when they had WCW Smackdown at one point, with Booker T and DDP in the main event…the one time try at WCW Smackdown was seen as a failure.
Goldust returning as a big heel, at some point between 2007 and 2009 (don’t remember), to feud with Triple H, I believe over the WWE title…never happened.
Rick Rude was training for a big return to the WWF in 1999…he unfortunately passed away in April of 1999.
A rematch between Bret Hart and Stone Cold at Wrestlemania 14, where Bret, not HBK, would have dropped the title to Austin, and began his mega push…Bret left for WCW.
Shawn Michaels making a huge in ring return in 2001, even confirmed at the time by the man himself at the time…didn’t happen until a year later.
Ahmed Johnson was announced to face The Undertaker at some PPV (Canadian Stampede possibly?) for the WWF title in 1997…Ahmed got injured.
so many damn others, I'll post a bunch more later when I can recall some more, there's been so many...

Not sure how much truth there is to this, but I remember hearing Kurt Angle say in a shoot interview that he was supposed to win the Undisputed title at Vengeance, but plans were changed and Jericho ended up winning it.

I read that Davey Boy Smith was supposed to be in the nWo, but he re-signed with the WWF at the last minute so the Giant joined the nWo instead.

I think I remembered when the plan was to have Mr. Kennedy as Mr. McMahon's bastard son and get a HUGE push but of course he got suspended and it changed to Hornswoggle. There are a ton and Queen already have a lot of them I'm thinking of right now. I'll update this post when I can come up with them.

WM XX Champion vs Champion match, WWE Champion Brock Lesnar vs World Champion Bill Goldberg....but Goldberg told Vince in December he had no pland to resign when his contract ended in March,so Goldberg dropped the Belt to HHH,and Lesnar dropped the belt to Eddie Guerrero since Vince no longer wanted the match to be a main event...
Brock Lesnar to go over a departing Bill Goldberg at WM XX ,changed when Lesnar told Vince he was leaving too and a pissed off Vince jobbed Lesnar out...

I remember hearing about, and part of me wants to say this came from Goldberg himself but don't quote me. Supposedly, Stone Cold Steve Austin told Goldberg to tell management that he was reconsidering signing a new deal so they would put him over Lesnar.

WrestleMania 8 may have been the most shuffled Mania of all time. I would estimate in December, building up to the the Rumble, the card was to be headlined by Hogan/Flair, Savage/Roberts in a Loser Leaves WWF Match, and Sid/Undertaker (though Im not sure who would have been heel and who face going in.) In addition to that, Shawn Michaels was also supposed to face Marty Jannetty, but Jannetty was fired and Michaels was put in the opener with Santana. The Legion of Doom were slated to face Money Inc, bu due to contract disputes they left for a bit before ultimately returning at Mania, but for an interview. A British Bulldog vs Berserker match was also cut from the event.

Mr. Anderson being Mr. McMahon's illegenimate son I spelled illegenimate wrong. I think I remembered when the plan was to have Mr. Kennedy as Mr. McMahon's bastard son and get a HUGE push but of course he got suspended and it changed to Hornswoggle. Interestingly enough, it was never an official plan for Kennedy to be the son. He was asked about it in his shoot video and he said that he knew about the internet rumors but no one ever told him what the actual plan was. He said that Stephanie came up to him once and said that the internet thought they knew it was him so they were going to tease it, but that was it.

Some of you seem to not know the difference between planned and rumored. Was just about to post the same thing. Also theres a big difference between actually planned and just discussed. Millions of things are discussed but the vast majority are not the actual plan. An actual plan getting changed was when hbk was going to be at WM17 and they brought him to the raw before the show and sent him home bc he was too messed up.
