Technically, Taker vs. Khali in a Punjabi Prison match.

Technically, Taker vs. Khali in a Punjabi Prison match. Practically half that GAB'06 card was changed in the days leading up to the show. Undertaker/Khali became Undertaker/Big Show Batista/Mark Henry became Batista/Mr. Kennedy Lashley was removed from the triple threat US title match, leaving it just Regal/Finlay, heel vs. heel I feel like I'm forgetting one, and I'm thinking that either the Tag Title match (was that also originally a triple threat?) or the cruiserweight match was changed at the last minute as well.

forgotten about Jindrak and Evolution. another was Bret vs Savage at WM9.Vince wanted Bret to go over Warrior,Savage and Hogan in 93.but ironically none of them happened Warrior was fired in Nov 92 McMahon changed his mind about Bret vs Savage(pity)Hogan wouldnt do business about SS93. Such a damn shame that match never happened at WM9. One of my all time favorite matches growing up was Savage vs Hart from SNME. I'd have love to have seen a rematch with the WWF title on the line at Mania.

Savage and Bret did have a WWE title match in Japan in '93 but I'm not sure if it is on DVD anywhere. WWE didn't acknowledge the match at the time.

Got these off a website: When the Honky Tonk Man beat Ricky Steamboat for the IC title, he was a replacement for "The Natural" Butch Reed who was scheduled to win the gold thats hotly disputed.Reed says himself that its BS-and sure enough Reed can be seen celebrating with the heels when Honky wins so it wasnt because he no showed.

What were the plans for Vic Grimes when he was dressing in all white and running out of the crowd?
How about the Blonde Bytch Project? It was supposed to be a burying of Tammy Sytch if I recall correctly, but it was apruptly stopped.
Wasn't there also a ladder match at some point where someone pulled the briefcase up when someone (no recollection of who) reached for it? Nothing ever came of that either....

Wasnt Jeff Jarrett vs Austin supposed to happen at Summerslam 99? not really. Vince Russo wanted his buddy JJ to be the new top heel and challenge Austin and beat him cleanly at SS99 after winning KOTR99. Vince considered it but went with HHH instead because he was MEGA over as a heel after turning on DX and joing the Corporation. it should also be noted that Austin was unwilling to put JJ over and Vince agreed by May of 99 that it was a non runner. Vinces 2 options to be the "next big heel" were HHH and Billy Gunn.thats why Billy was given KOTR 99 and a feud with Rock to see would he reach the heat HHH was getting-he didnt.

Apparently in the Vickie/Edge wedding storyline with Triple H, that was suppose to be Matt Hardy's spot, not Triple H's. Hardy said that in an interview.

What were the plans for Vic Grimes when he was dressing in all white and running out of the crowd? Wasn't he with Droz and Albert for like a week? He was "Key" (as in "Kilol"). As Key, Grimes formed a short-lived drug dealer character along with Droz and Prince Albert and feuded with The Godfather. But The Godfather suffered an injury just as the feud between the two was developing, which led to Grimes being taken off TV.

Around the time of Mania 9 and Tatanka's massive push, Diesel (Nash) was not even in the WWF yet and Razor (Hall) had debuted only a few months before, around Sept or Oct of 92. So there really wasnt a Kliq at the time.

I remember someone asking Jerry Lawler about a situation in which Marty Jannetty was supposed to win the Intercontinental Title at Royal Rumble '93.
Lawler's response was:
"One guy showed up drunk, the other guy won the match."
