Don Tony and Kevin Castle are very entertaining. I never miss an episode from them. Cornette is great with wrestling stories but talks about politics also which doesn't interest me. The guys on Botchamania.com also do great reviews of past PPVs mostly during the 90s-early 00s. Brian Alvarez is quite funny to listen to occasionally as they bash certain things (TNA) and go back and review stuff like the guys above. I haven't listened to much from Sam Roberts but what I have heard is pretty good. What?!?!?! Someone bashing TNA?!?!?!? I can't stand Alvarez or Meltzer. MINUS 5 STARS!

Loved the Hardys back then. They were the coolest guys in the WWF at the time, and couldn't wait to see them every week. When I finally got figures of them I was a happy kid!

I think he became boring after 2009. His feud with Triple H had so much potential, and Orton was almost made to look like a legit badass, but it fizzled out very quickly. After that... he just plodded along.

It was you The Natural Eddy Valintino that got me into DT and KC. You had their logo in your sig for ages, so I gave them a try after repeatedly seeing that every time you posted, and I've been a listener since 2013. Never knew then that they had been around for AGES. I'm listening to them right now as I type. Dead funny. Well I'm glad I got someone into the show. I thought that I was the only one who was a fan of theirs. I've been a listener since the last show of 2012 when they did their year end awards. I first heard of them through the TV Trax channel on YouTube. The clips that got me into them was the clip when Don Tony was making fun of the commercials TNA did when they changed into Impact Wrestling, especially when Bobby Roode was like "If I want entertainment, I'll go see a movie" and the clips where Don Tony makes fun of the Joker Sting. Yep same for me, TV Trax on Youtube (which also got me listening to Solomonster) and then the full show later on. Some people don't like how over the top DT is but I find him on point and funny.

I loved it, made me laugh every time they did that.
They are the most interesting team I have seen since Edge & Christian. Not quite there yet, but getting there. They need to be given more backstage skits and more insulting the crowd/other wrestlers.
Best thing on the card atm.

So Jeff Jarrett wasn't a main event level guy "because you said so"? He was only repackaged once, and that was under his own creative ideas at the time (and quite a good, if not drastic change if I may say so myself). He was beginning to get over as a upper mid-card heel, and was doing a good job at it too. Guess who else was an upper mid-card heel before? Triple H. Now, I'm not saying they are on par in any way, but Triple H started out that way and they booked him to be the top heel, he took the ball and ran with it. Jeff was a great worker, and from looking at how he was a big heel in WCW and TNA, there was potential. In the WWF would he have remained in that top spot or flopped? I doubt it, mainly because there were so many others pushing to rise up the card in 2000. But his stock would have remained high. I know he wasn't the top heel, and we're just speculating, but I'm looking at it with an unbiased opinion. I hated Jarrett back then, but at least I can appreciate how good of a character and heel he was back then to make me hate him, instead of just saying he would flop "because I didn't like him". When I said he didn't make it because I thought he wasn't good enough, I meant that the company probably felt the same way because of the fact that he was in the same role for basically his entire career (IC Title picture/upper mid-card). And what do you mean he was repackaged once? He had the country music gimmick with Road Dogg as his sidekick, then went solo, then did the whole NWA "I'm the greatest wrestler alive" thing with Cornette's group, then was put with Tennessee Lee where he was supposed to be the world's greatest global entertainer, then had The Godwinns turn heel and join his stable and then finally went onto the "Don't Piss Me Off" gimmick. He was floundering for years and they really had no idea what to do with him. I admit that he was just starting to finally get over in 1999 when he left, but as you said, Triple H was just beginning his reign of being the top heel in the company and that really left no room for Jeff Jarrett to move up anymore. My point was that if the company truly thought Jarrett was that good and could draw I have to figure they would've found a way for him to get some work in the WWF Title picture at some point. I wouldn't say all that that was a repackaging of his gimmick. He was a country music guy, right up until 1998 when he did that DPMO gimmick. Those before were just minor tweaks just like the Undertaker had all throughout his Deadman gimmick before and after the ABA days.

Austin never played backstage politics and held people down as far as any of us know. Jeff Jarrett didn't reach the main event scene because, honestly, I never thought he was that good enough. That's why they tried to repackage him a hundred times and stuck him with more valets/managers/lackies than I can even remember at the moment. And Punk calling out Cena in his pipebomb was much less worse than Jarrett taking a shot at the industry's top star at a time when the WWF was just beginning to move out of the dark ages. Frankly, I'm surprised pulling a stunt like that didn't get him fired at the time. So Jeff Jarrett wasn't a main event level guy "because you said so"? He was only repackaged once, and that was under his own creative ideas at the time (and quite a good, if not drastic change if I may say so myself). I collect the odd one here or there depending on condition, and hope to rebuild half of my collection I sold off to upgrade some to RA. The ones I kept have the odd paint chipped off the hair/attires so I may rebuy them one day. I had so much fun with them back in the day.

There was never one made with that exact look. So you can't have unless you somehow obtained a test-shot figure which is next to impossible. Are you sure? This is pretty much the same figure No it's not the same. I kept repeating in my original posts that the pants were all wrong and he was still missing details. You can go back and read them all to see what I meant if you want.

RA 25 Shawn Michaels royally p'd me off. I was so looking forward to this: Which then became this: Safe to say I passed, but hated that he wasn't made like that. I never did like when they changed all HBK's to the non-accurate tracksuit leg mold. So we never got him in the correct pants mold like in the first photo. A lot of things went on like this. Half painting figures was a staple of figures being released in 2004. Christian in normal clothes had no pattern on his back, Billy Gunn (his only ever RA) had no lips on his shorts on the back, Ultimo Dragon had no dragon skin effect on the back of his tights... Even Trevor Murdoch released in Arenaline 21(?) had a plaid shirt, that was left plain white on the back. That was in 2006, so they still did it every now and then. I actually have the fig where he is moulded like the top picture There was never one made with that exact look. So you can't have unless you somehow obtained a test-shot figure which is next to impossible.

I've never seen the shirtless one, but that colour combination and logo placement looks amazing. I think that works the best. Always liked white boots too. As long as he doesn't go back to the starry gimp suit I don't mind what else he does.

Zack Ryder has been buried since 2012. If you use that as the reference point, none of the examples IWC mention every time someone loses are actually "buried".

I was just thinking yesterday how I could imagine him winning the IC belt at the same time and thinking it could really cement him in the history books. Obviously you can't just rely on that, he needs to perform at the top level consistently and convince us that he belongs there. So far I still don't quite buy him as that, and quite frankly he has no mic skills. He's not dead on the mic, and not monotone, but he just can't change the pitch/emotion as he speaks. He always sounds the same, whether angry, happy or emphasising certain words.
So yes it would be cool to see him (or anyone for that fact) own all 3 top titles at once, but I began wondering does this make sense and does it make others suffer for it? IMO the benefits MUST outweigh the negatives, and he needs to beat Sting for us to buy him as THEE man. Then I'd buy him as best in the company, not this weasel win-through-the-skin-of-his-teeth BS every time. CLEAN wins.

Just bring up the prescriptions for the antibiotics this doctor supposedly gave Punk and the rest will speak for itself.
I think this doctor is guilty of negligence based on what's been said, and sounds stupid to go after Cabana.
Although for WWE to have his back sounds like there must be something WWE knows that Punk hasn't said yet.

I just can't get that description of what she looked like when he "found her" out of my head. This whole thing is sickening. Hope that vile human being rots in jail for the rest of his life.

Overall, I liked it. Either I am easy to please, or I just accept things that are given to me.
I can understand and agree about all the things that were stupid about those 3 years, but it still didn't ruin my enjoyment of it.
I do hate however how they executed the Fortune vs Immortal. Fortune's mission was to save TNA from the "tyranny" of Hogan and Bischoff and all their minions trying to destroy it from the inside. Fortune was meant to be pro-TNA, do anything to fight for it, but for many episodes, 1 or 2 members were always absent, they fought in random matches, and only occasionally fought against those in Immortal. They basically "let" Immortal run the show, and only feuded with them half-heartedly. This feud could have been EPIC. It should have involved all the titles, a power play, with high stakes. The best part was them dressing as clowns to aid Sting. But then it fizzled out. And you had Angle who feuded with Jarrett for MONTHS and was anti-Immortal, only to go and join them less than a month after beating Jarrett.
There were glimpses of great parts, and initially, like the Aces & 8s, was quite well done. But dragged on and had no real direction.
Talking of Aces and 8s, good idea, good concept, poor execution. No star power other than Bully Ray, and maybe Devon. Fizzled out.
I did like watching James Storm and Bobby Roode rise to main event status though, until Storm got shot down again.

Was thinking about this earlier. I'm not talking about worst as in the worst wrestler to win the tourney, but really one guy who won the tournament and never really went on to do anything afterwards with the title. My vote goes to Billy Gunn. He never even won a singles title until many years after he won the tournament, and he went back to tagging with Road Dogg again less than a year after winning it in 1999. The WWF seemed to be obsessed with him being a top heel in the company at the time, and it just never panned out. BTW, I'm not counting any of the kings who won as parts of the reincarnations of the tournament after it stopped being a regular PPV in 2002. He won the Intercontinental Championship in November 2000, so no not "many years" after. I agree in the sense he wasn't a great KOTR, but I don't think it was that bad. Mabel was awful! I seriously doubt he was supposed to be the "top heel" either. Triple H was the top heel at that time, so Gunn may have been booked to become a second or third, because we still had Vince and Undertaker floating around at that time too. I know OP said not counting the later KOTRs, but since some are counting Sheamus and Barrett, I'm surprised no-one has mentioned William Regal. He won the tournament in like October/November 2008? or something, and even became the on screen authority figure on Raw straight after, but then got suspended at the same time and was dropped like a stone. Anyone remember YOUMANGA? Slightly changing the OT, I think Kurt was an awesome KOTR.

I don't get it. She was fired because she had a swastika picture hanging in her room 3 years ago that she clearly defends as something she perceives as holding its original symbolism? That's pretty interesting. Re-read all the evidence presented on this thread, down to the stupid remarks she makes on Twitter, as well as the pictures. Then you should get it. She's a massive bigot and doesn't even try to hide it.
