I bought a Karrion Kross elite to use the jacket for Sting, took the boots off him put them on The Godfather to fix the height. Just pretend Mark Henry has a closed first as I’ve lost the hands. The abortion that is the torso choice I never noticed his height was off. I still dont understand how they literally made a specific torso for Kama....then proceeded NOT to use it. They messed up EVERY single figure of the NoD. That's what really irks me. You hit the nail on the head with Kama, but also that he has the lower part of kickpads without the upper part, resulting in a massive underhang. They could have used say Edge lower legs.... The Rock in the 2 pack with Faarooq had the wrong head for that era but it was passable at the time and we're getting a new one so.... Faarooq had the wrong skintone and blue details when he always only had green but with a slight tint of blue. Plus the coloured designs were too small. They also never gave him a fisted hand despite having the part available. D'Lo is missing wrist tape (seriously??) and has the wrong style singlet but it's not really that bad because they don't have something that exact style. Mark Henry looks nothing like Mark Henry and has the wrong boots (should be laced) and the singlet is also incredibly inaccurate.... The MNW Rock looks much better although the designs are the exact same as the other figure and there were other looks he could have had instead.... The new Faarooq should be a massive upgrade too. But the other 3 we have to live with due to their incompetence....

Does anyone know if the BAF MNW Luger torso is the same torso as the British Bulldog ‘99 BAF? Yes it is and I believe the same skintone too

Mate the site literally says stock due in 15th - 22nd May. Whatever made it to stores was clearly an early shipment and not a main shipment. And let's not pretend Smyths haven't had additional shipments of stuff showing as out of stock for a little while. Hopefully. It did the same thing with wave 1, but back then it was showing more than 2 of each figure per store. This time apart from hhh it showed only 2 of each figure per store. So it’s not exactly the same as last time and so far looks more restrictive. Hopefully wave 3 will be easy to get on one go so I can get the disciple 😂 It does look more restrictive and I believe the Walmart Ruthless Aggression line suffered the same fate. But I'm sure there will be these allocations popping up over the next week or so and then it'll be done, despite less cases. Let's count ourselves lucky that this is only for the figures in wave 2, and not say wave 3 which will be more sought after. Not saying the allocation may not be worse, but those in wave 3 look like can't miss (at least for me). I think placing an online order for wave 3 and 4 may be the way to go and then holding on to them until they're in store so you can inspect and keep which ones you prefer based on QC/paint apps. There's a facebook group called Wrestling Collectors Club I believe, that's how I first heard about them being on Smyths site. I didn't order and they were sold out within a day on there.

Yeah there's no DM Hogan head in that picture The pic I posted? The DM one is on the left. It's the same sculpt, but not the actual DM Hogan head. This is the DM head, check the skintone, colour of the moustache, lack of True FX details....

Time for what? They've removed s1 bar Hogan from online purchase quite some time ago. And all of s2 bar HHH is currently sold out. Its been harder to obtain s2 than it was s1, and it doesn't look like that will improve. Mate the site literally says stock due in 15th - 22nd May. Whatever made it to stores was clearly an early shipment and not a main shipment. And let's not pretend Smyths haven't had additional shipments of stuff showing as out of stock for a little while.

Or maybe it's because Hogan continues to move merch big time, brother. So there's a larger budget for his figures, jack, and he can justify the extra costs, dude.

Why are so many people claiming it's because of the robes and budget?
So many figures in the elite main line and sub-lines don't have their entrance gear. Why would they HAVE to make Charlotte with her entrance gear? They didn't for the SS 23 figure.
Sounds like a nonsense reason.

Scott would need a deal that allowed for action figures. Steve said this in December 2022. He didn’t specify what kind of contract, just that it would need to allow for action figures. That's very interesting in that discussion regarding Scott Steiner needing to be under contract for a figure. Because his figure came out in September last year, meaning he'd have been in the planning stages literally as Steve responded to the question, therefore he'd have been signed to a deal a couple of months before that. AFA was keeping a cool hand as always....

Ah , my wallet's going to hate me if I see all 4 Harlem Heat at once. Luckily that just looks to be a single QC issue and not widespread You're probably right. I only asked because I saw My Damn Toys and Alex West Collects' Takers had the same double stache too Hopefully that's just luck of the draw and not say, an issue from a certain batch/run at a certain time. It could just be like when eyes, facial hair, eyebrows can miss the mark from head to head/figure to figure and is not representative of the whole. Plenty of Takers out there look fine so checking in person may be best if these are available to you or anyone else reading.

Don't know what you're talking about but mine and all others I've seen are perfectly fine. I've not seen any with an issue, in person or from online pics/reviews... The one I saw had a little pencil mustache above his regular goatee, lol Luckily that just looks to be a single QC issue and not widespread

Finally saw a Taker the other afternoon. Couldn't pull the trigger just for the head sculpt though. Do they all really have double mustaches? Don't know what you're talking about but mine and all others I've seen are perfectly fine. I've not seen any with an issue, in person or from online pics/reviews...

He’s Hulk Hogan you don’t have to do anything he’ll always sell. I have never seen him pegwarm or even come close to pegwarming. You should have seen my local Smyths Toys. There was like 10 MNW Hogans, no one else and he made up about 1/4 to 1/5 of all elites on display (lots of Rock & Piper GH wave 3, Elite 106-107 and few other stragglers). Personally I'd like a white gloves, red flame boots and another attempt at these Wolfpac tights (they mirrored the designs, skimped out on the lightning bolts and messed up the parts around the crotch). I reckon they'd surely do a fingerpoke of doom Hogan for the MNW line. And there's the totally awesome FUNB, Terry Bollea/Hulk Hogan 2000 look

Those must have set you back a fair bit The Two Series One off Ebay were £80.00 for both, The Two Series One off Smyths were £40.00 for both, The Four Series Two from Mash Toy Store were roughly £50.00 a piece, the shipping was £24.00 although it was delivered by Parcelforce which involved a 20% customs fee plus the dreaded £12.00 charge. The Piper Ultimate all in was £90.00 from Ebay. Unfortunately in the Ultimates case you will have to overpay, whilst the regular waves are at Smyths so there's that. I was offered a deal by Mash Toy Store but yes I overpaid compared to waiting for Smyths. Yeah I feel your pain. The UEs being the worst for price markups plus shipping

I'm in the UK and I've got series one and two plus the Piper Ultimate. Two of Series One I got off ebay uk both usa editions from a UK seller, the remaining two from Smyths. Series Two I bought the full set from Mash Toy Store in Australia and they were usa editions. Piper Ultimate was bought of ebay UK from a seller in California, USA. Those must have set you back a fair bit

Its been 4 series, let's calm down for a bit. AFA did say this line had no scheduled finish line, and they were gonna keep it going as long as possible. Plenty of time left to get multiple versions of these guys in Elite or UE form. All calm here. Just calling out that Mattel has had Booker T signed for years, yet we’re about to get out third King Booker (a character he played for a little over a year), and a Harlem Heat repaint. Outside of these, we got a WM19 and 2002-nWo figure. The 2001 grocery-store Booker that’s coming in the Smackdown 4-pack doesn’t exactly scream “want” either. Would be nice to get a little variety considering the guy had a 20 year career. Yeah I'm disappointed that we've still not had a 1998 singles run elite Booker, nor a 2000-2001 WHC Booker. The NWO 2002 and WM19 were pretty good apart from the boots. Severely disappointing. Even if they didn't have the budget to tool those boots, they could have gone with tall laced boots and Razor/Hall calves. I'd have been fine without the straps provided he had the designs on the sides. Those would have been more accurate than what we got. So if they do make a 2000-2001 Booker, I severely hope they either tool new boots with 3 straps on the front, or give him tall laced boots. I'd buy multiples and swap them onto the NWO and WM19 Bookers. Imagine - if they had tooled new, accurate boots for WM19 from the get go, they'd have been used for NWO 2002, then they could use them for a 2000-2001 AND 1998 Booker.... So plenty of opportunity to recoup the costs by reusing. They could have even made a 1999 silver designs Booker if needed to offset the cost....

Is this a joke or was something said regarding this? Not at all brother. I asked Steve about getting one in the future and he confirmed. Great news and ending to a chapter for a lot of us that wanted to complete the whole DDP look. One thing is I’d like a longer mullet with the straight faced scan. That's great news. I like this figure but don't remember him having black wrist tape or only one taped hand. In my mind it was ALWAYS white wrist tape and both hands taped....
