People collect LJN, hasbro and BCA even sometimes, but noone talks about these two lines.

It IS sort of odd considering how many TTL figures they made. Granted, they mostly have the same body, but TTL produced some pretty cool figures. Some great head sculpts too.
I bought a bunch of TTL figures a couple years back, got a little into them. I was never into them when they first came out, mind you. But they mostly just sit in a box now.

I really enjoyed the TTL line back in the day, I didn't have a ton of access to them in my small city here in Canada growing up but I found they were great for playing with even with their limited articulation

I collect the odd one here or there depending on condition, and hope to rebuild half of my collection I sold off to upgrade some to RA. The ones I kept have the odd paint chipped off the hair/attires so I may rebuy them one day. I had so much fun with them back in the day.

I collect Titan Tron and I own every R3tech they ever made. I love them . I remember when I first saw them in stores and had no idea what they were , same thing happened when BCA line started . It was fun when I didn't have the Internet as a kid lol

I have a soft spot for the R3 figures because they remind me of good times seeing them in Forbidden Planet in my town which isn't there anymore  Used to buy one every fortnight and I still have them. The good R3 Tech Figures are really good. The bad R3 Tech Figures are really bad. Wouldn't part with any of them though. |

I think people are more after t-shirts, autographs, chairs and other memorabilia from say 1997-2002 which is what makes BCA, R3 and TTL not that saught after. The only figures that hold much value are the Jeff Hardy stuff. R-3s are still pretty collectible and resellable since people are into Mattel's today and they're the same scale.

I do. I like to browse Amazon and get stuff when it's cheap. Same here. I just picked up a RAW Draft Series TTL William Regal for four bucks with free Prime shipping.  My two favorite wrestling figure lines to collect in the past 20 years have been BCA and RA/CS, but I am open to many others. I've rebuilt a good chunk of my original TTL collection recently. R3 figures eluded me for many years as a teenager when I completely bypassed the era. I've since added a fair amount to my overall Jakks collection, but I am in no way a dedicated R3 collector. I think Jakks had an exceptional run in terms of accurate likenesses and character selection during the TTL/R3 years. I'm partial to the TTL line over R3 because I grew up with them and there was more to collect, but the R3 concept was one that revolutionized WWE figures and we should all be thankful for that. Mattel has thrived on scale and surpassed everything Jakks started for WWE figures, but give credit where it's due. |

Last year I bought a whole bunch of TTLs as well as the live sounds arena because as a child I always wanted to see how extensive the interaction was. I also bought a few MOC R3s, my favourites being Test and Rikishi.

There's just too freakin' many. Jakks went crazy in the TTL era, releasing all these sub-series and one-off sets, along with store exclusive 2-packs and boxsets. It'd be fun to collect but at the same time nobody really has room for that s*** lol.
R3 was brief and aside from a few rarer ones, it'd be easy to collect.

I have a couple of TTL and R3 figures. Off the top of my head, I have Mr. McMahon and Big Show TTLs and a DDP R3. DDP stacks up to a Mattel basic and the TTLs were good for their time.
