I am looking forward to no Carlos Ruiz for the first 25 games. Yay!!!
I have no clue what happened to Halladay. Was it really just 3 yrs ago the guy tossed a no-no and a perfect game in the same season? Now he's like a serviceable #3 guy.

So here are my predictions:
AL East:
1. Toronto 2. Rays 3. Sox 4. Orioles 5. Yankos
Now I just have this awful feeling putting the Yankees last, like "No way thats even allowed" but that team looks TERRIBLE on paper to me. The Orioles are young but they didnt get better this year, they really didnt. And they got extremely lucky last year and I doubt it happens. Machado for a full year is gonna be pretty fun.
The Red Sox are better, how much better depends on Buchholz/Lester. They pitch like they can, this team can compete for the division....if not 3-5th is possible.
I can see the Jays struggling too, their rotation/pen isnt anything special either. Johnson should be good since hes in a contract year but Morrow is a wild card, Romero is in A ball, their best pitcher is probably Buehrle.
AL Central:
1. Tigers 2. Indians 3. Royals 4. White Sox 5. Twins
Tigers should run away with this division, but dont under estimate the the effect Francona is going to have on that Indians team. They are gonna be fun to watch.
AL Central:
1. Rangers 2. Angels 3. A's 4. Mariners 5. Astros
Aside from the Astros, this division is gonna be competitive. I like the Mariners this year a lot better than last year. Oakland might struggle a bit too but the top 4 will be tough.
The Angels, aside from Weaver have AspamFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFUL pitching. Tommy Hanson? Jason Vargas? That could kill that team. Seriously kill them.
AL MVP: Robinson Cano AL ROY: Jackie Bradley Jr, I think he stays and does well all year. AL Cy Young: King Felix AL Manager of the Year: Terry Francona
Jays, Tigers, Rangers, Rays, Angels
Detroit Tigers in the AL
NL East:
1. Washington 2. Atlanta 3. Philadelphia 4. New York 5. Miami
This division wont be really close. The Braves will be very good though, and the Phillies who knows. Halladay looks AWFUL, that offense looks AWFUL. They could very well fall below .500. If Utley and Howard dont come back 100%, it could be ugly for the Phillies.
NL Central:
1. Reds 2. Cardinals 3. Pirates 4. Brewers 5. Cubs
Cardinals need Wainwright and the kids to carry them and Beltran to go nuts again. I just like the Reds top to bottom better, better rotation, lineup, pen etc. Just a solid team. I think the Pirates finally get over .500 this year. McCutchen gonna go NUTS. I dont see the Brewers being very good aside from the juicer and Gallardo....and the Cubs, well, will be fantastic in 5 years.
NL Central:
1. Dodgers 2. Giants 3. DBacks 4. Padres 5. Rockies
Too much talent for the Dodgers here, and the Giants are bound to run out of luck one of these years. Posey can only carry you so far. Lincecum is a batting practice pitcher right now pretty much.
NL MVP: Andrew McCutchen NL ROY: Jedd Gyorko NL Cy Young: Strasburg NL MOY: Davey Johnson
Washington, Cincy, LAD, Atlanta and San Fran
Washington vs Detroit
Washington with the World Series win
I am copying my predictions since it took me a while to write them and then the thread was closed

I really hope I follow the whole season and not just come back for the All-Star Game and the playoffs.

Welp I don't honestly have a lot of faith in this team this season seeing how they made pretty much zero moves (jeff keppinger lolz) while other teams in the division got better
But south side baseball is still south side baseball, so I'm still excited for the season to finally start

So here's an alarming first impression of the Yankees 2013 season....
CC Sabathia can barely get the ball over 90 mph.

Ugh. Burnett fanned quite a few but unfortunately those he did not fan he let on base. That and the fact that the Pirates forgot how to bat they got smacked in the mouth. I mean not nearly as bad as the Padres but this was my first ever home opener I got to go to and the sh*t weather even held out but the Pirates just could not seem to get it going and all of that and such. Haha.

The Yankees are actually worse than I thought. The lineup is just too weak until Jeter and Granderson get back, and if Teixeira ever comes back. They can't ever get a sustained rally going because every time they get a few guys on, a string of useless guys in a row come up and blow it. Nunez, Francisco, Nix, and even though Cervelli drove in the only 2 runs....they are not Major League hitters.
And just like I said after everybody got excited about them in Spring Training.....Phelps and Chamberlain are awful. They looked good in Spring Training against nobodies and incomplete lineups, but the season has started and they are back to their old tricks.
Hopefully Sabathia will get stronger as the season rolls on, however as I said, the fact that he couldn't get a ball over 90 mph was very concerning.
And you guys can jump on me for saying "LORENZO IT'S ONE GAME! RELAX".....and you would be correct. It's one game. But it's exactly what I've been predicting for months, so it's nothing that I haven't seen coming from a mile away.
These games are going to be hard to watch.

^That was awesomely hilarious. Thanks man, needed a laugh. Bro, I know you think I'm crazy.....but this isn't like other years. If the Yankees dig themselves too deep of a hole early they WILL be done. You don't have the players to pull off a craaaaaazy comeback like the Yankees have done in years past where you had a loaded roster that was just under performing. The Yankees are NOT going to be able to squeeze enough out of Lyle Overbay, Brennan Boesch, Jayson Nix, Brett Gardner, Francisco Cervelli, Chris Stewart and Eduardo Nunez to get this thing done. This is not like years past where we had loaded rosters of players in their prime who just hadn't heated up yet..... In 2009, when the Yankees sucked early, we always had the potential that WHEN A-Rod got back we KNEW he was capable of 30/100 and WHEN Teixeira got going we KNEW he was capable of 40/120. In 2013 it's IF Jayson Nix has a career year we HOPE we can get 40 RBI's out of him. IF Teixeira and A-Rod ever comeback we have no idea what to expect. I said it in December, I said it when Spring Training started, and I said it last week....the Yankees are NOT going to score runs in 2013 and to win the pitching is going to have to be PERFECT. Their pitching is NOT going to be perfect.

Just got back from Yankee Stadium. That was rough.
When it started raining me and my friend moved all the way up because everyone left and if one of us yelled it probably could have been heard around the stadium.

One game is too early, but the Sox look better at least. They have likeable players finally.
