At least the Phils go back home after this and meet up with the Royals. Even with the back end of their rotation going out there they should be able to take two of three from a bad team. Royals are gonna be a really improved team this year and I wouldn't be surprised if they win 2 outta 3 against the Phils. Chris Davis for the Os is off to a super fast start. Guy had potential coming into the season but his first week has been crazy to this point. Hopefully he can keep up this high level of play for a bit.

Andy Pettitte is just an awesome pitcher. I mean, this guy is 40 and he's still out there going 8 innings, pin point control, more movement than he's ever had in his career.....since his rookie season he's lost about 5mph on his fastball, but as a pitcher, he's better now than ever.
He's just simply awesome.

He and Randy Johnson definitely both drank from the same water fountain of youth when they were kids or something and all of that and such. Haha.

Completely missed the game last night because I was out and couldn't get any sort of data signal on my phone. Sucked. Just looking at the line I'm impressed with Lee of course. Shutting out that lineup is impressive. Not impressed with the Phils offense at all. They scrapped and put runs on the board in the first game, but didn't do much of anything in the last two games.

Well, Ivan Nova is just as horrible as I remember.
And it would be nice to get Cano going. He's a completely different guy than the guy who won the WBC MVP. I don't know if he's feeling the pressure of looming Free Agency or if he's trying to do too much because A-Rod, Jeter, Teixeira, and Granderson are all on the DL.....but he's not had good at bats so far the first 3 and a half games of the season (batting .077 as of the time of this post).

....aaaaaaand Nunez is down, you gotta be ing kidding me I'm not sure what happened or where that hit him. It looked like it hit him in the chest, but his whole right arm looked like it was dead. Maybe it got him in like that inner shoulder area where arm and chest connect? Hopefully it's not too bad....we really can't afford any more injuries.

If the Yankees bullpen is penis cake, I don't even wanna imagine what the Phillies pen is.
Kendrick was good up until the fifth where he just started to get knocked around. And then of course, the bullpen enters which just never needs an explination. That loss was just incredibly frustrating.

Oh and how silly of me to forget to mention how the offense just magically stopped hitting after the third.

Wtf happened? Sent from my XT907 using proboards Maybe you should start being a Royals fan Yeah, I should be happy no matter how that game turned out. I just can't buy the Royals as legit until they actually turn in some W's though. I hear the hype every single year and I've seen the team blown up and rebuilt a bajillion times. They never get it all together. The Royals are just slightly better than the Pirates IMO. While the Pirates have famously finished under .500 every year for the past twenty years, the Royals have only finished over .500 three times in that time period and two of those times were way back in the early 90s. They've also lost 95+ games 7 different times in that span including four different 100 loss seasons. The Pirates have lost 100 games just twice in the same period.

It's good to see the league leading Giants are well on their way to another WS appearance.

WOW!! That was a nice 9th inning from the Uptons. Pretty neat having a Braves team with this much power. Makes it fun to watch for me at least.
Long season ahead, and the Nats are a complete team no doubt, and a healthy Phillies team is a threat.

The Phillies are healthy at the moment and the way they are playing they are no threat to a girl's softball team.
