Hopefully this will be somewhat decent. Get the title off of Lashley, please. Punk as heel would also be nice. Wait, when did Punk turn again? was it after 'Mania?

Yeah, I believe it was exactly after Mania. This should be decent, if not I'll be shocked. Give Burke a run with the ECW title, then have Punk feud him for it. Don't rush in Johnny Nitro too quick please.

A Punk heel turn joining the New Breed would be fantastic. I hope you can pull something off here, good luck.

(April 3rd, 2007) As the show comes on the air, Mr. McMahon focuses in on the camera. McMahon says that Lashley will continue to pay for what he did at Wrestlemania. He said that the humiliation will now go to Lashley. McMahon said that Lashley has a handicap match coming up now. Handicap Match: Bobby Lashley (ECW Champion) vs. Hardcore Holly & SnitskyAlthough it was a short match, Snitsky and Holly dominated Lashley for most of the match. Lashley clotheslined Snitsky out of the ring, then turned around and met Holly with a Spear. Lashley got the three count to win the match. Winner: Bobby LashleyLashley celebrated after the match, but Umaga was standing right behind him. Umaga then planted him with a Samoan drop, and then screamed. He picked up Lashley and gave him a Samoan Spike. McMahon appeared on the entrance ramp, and with orders from McMahon, Umaga gave Lashley another Samoan Spike. After the commercial break, the New Breed is seen backstage. Burke says that he cannot believe Matt Striker got pinned at Wrestlemania. Thorn and Cor Von just stood silently as Burke said that Striker was an embarrassment to the New Breed. Burke said that Striker needs a rebound win against CM Punk to show Punk that the New Breed is where it's at and that he should come join The New Breed. Striker said that he has other things to take care of, and starting right now, Striker no longer represents the New Breed. Striker shakes the hands of Thorn and Cor Von, and then reluctantly shakes hands with Burke as he walks off. CM Punk vs. Matt StrikerThis match was kept pretty short. Punk hit his signature moves, and then finished off Striker with the GTS. Winner: CM PunkThe New Breed was seen watching the last match on a monitor as Vince McMahon walked up to them. McMahon asked Burke if he would like a title shot. Burke then praised McMahon and called him God’s gift to the world. McMahon said that Burke, Cor Von, and Thorn would all be getting title shots. He said that the New Breed would face Lashley in an Extreme Rules handicap match for the ECW title. Burke thought about the decision as Cor Von and Thorn both smirked. After the commercial break, McMahon walked up to the ECW Originals and congratulated them on their Wrestlemania win. RVD then asked why the New Breed was getting a title shot when they lost at Wrestlemania. McMahon said that for the past few months the New Breed has dominated, and will tonight. McMahon said he didn’t like RVD’s tone. He then told RVD that RVD would team up with Sabu to take on Tommy Dreamer and The Sandman. McMahon said that if they did not actually wrestle, all four of them would be fired. Dreamer then said that he doesn’t want McMahon on ECW anymore. McMahon responded by saying that a new general manager has been appointed, and will be revealed next week. Rob Van Dam & Sabu vs. The Sandman & Tommy DreamerSince it was not hardcore, this match was mediocre. Sabu and Dreamer battled it out on the outside as RVD and Sandman did in the ring. Sandman missed a flip from the top rope, and then RVD took advantage by giving Sandman a Five-Star Frog Splash to pick up the win for him and Sabu. Winners: RVD & SabuAll four men embraced and high-fived after the match was done. Backstage, Elijah Burke gave a prep talk to Thorn and Cor Von. Burke said that the New Breed needs to get it done, and then gold will be around the waist of the Elijah Experience. Thorn then asked what would happen if him or Cor Von won. Burke claimed that he is the one who will be ECW Champion. Cor Von responded by saying that there’s a difference between saying it, and doing it. Burke then said that they need to stay focused. ECW Championship, Extreme Rules Handicap Match: Bobby Lashley (ECW Champion) vs. Elijah Burke, Kevin Thorn w/Ariel, & Marcus Cor VonLate in the match, Thorn went to hit Lashley with a chair, but hit Cor Von by accident. Lashley then gave Thorn a Spear, turned around, and then gave one to Burke. He went for the cover, but McMahon pulled the referee out. Lashley then went outside the ring and chased McMahon. He then grabbed McMahon and brought him into the ring. McMahon was near Lashley, and prayed for Lashley to not hurt him. Lashley looked up at the crowd, seeing what they think he should do. However, Cor Von ran off the ropes and delivered a Pounce to Lashley. McMahon yelled at the referee to count. The referee counted, and Cor Von got the three count. Winner and NEW ECW Champion: Marcus Cor Von (Elijah Burke & Kevin Thorn also on winning side)McMahon look thrilled with what just went on, and yelled at Lashley. As this was going on, Cor Von celebrated with the ECW Title. Elijah Burke looked stunned at what just happened. The camera focused in on Cor Von again as the show came to a close.

COR VON BEAT LASHLEY!!! THANK YOU! I feel you did a great job, but there is one thing. (I hope you take constructive criticism). The part about The Originals embracing after the match, was a tad unnecessary. That aside, the segments were well written, and I can defiantly see progression already. Great first show, and I see great things for it in the future.

Cor Von beating Lashley is pretty cool. I always disliked Lashley in the 'E but Cor Von wasn't doing much in the 'E. I would have loved it if Burke would've won, he is def. misused in the WWE these days. Would love to see Punk turn heel eventually and join the New Breed. I would be very interested in that. RVD and Sabu teaming up together is great and glad they got the win as well.

Wrestling Observer Newsletter Notes
The decision to put the ECW title on Marcus Cor Von was initially pitched by ECW writer Dave Lagana. McMahon is a fan of Cor Von as well as Burke, and supported the idea.
There is no word yet on who the ECW general manager will be.
The WWE has not fully decided where to put CM Punk. There is feeling that he may not be a heel nor a face, at least until the WWE decides. If he is portrayed as his own man and is a tweener, the WWE feels like he can get over.
It looks as if Bobby Lashley will soon be on Raw full-time as the WWE sees him as a main event guy right now.
There are plans to call up Maryse from OVW. She will either have some sort of on-air personality, or manage Sylvan Grenier as a French duo.

You could be the biggest newcomer to the Wrestling Sims board since The Undertaker. I liked that McMahon was making Lashley suffer, and so he got placed in two handicap matches with the New Breed. Seemed like a decent decision for the opening contest. I like the Matt Striker face turn, but I believe if Striker was to do that then he'd also have to face Elijah Burke or somebody. Shame he got demolished by CM Punk though. Good main event decision. Yeah the tag team match would of been mediocre, but good booking decision. Could of used some New Breed feud-storyline advancement however. Good main event, I am actually happy that Marcos Cor Von is the ECW Champion. I hope this will lead to a Cor Von/Lashley rematch next week or at Backlash, though. I hope that you do have Maryse as a manager to a straight-looking Sylvan Grenier. Good job.

(April 10th, 2007) Elijah Burke and Marcus Cor Von come out to start the show. Burke says that he was shocked when Cor Von won the title, but said it is good to have the ECW Championship in the New Breed. Before Burke can continue, Cor Von sort of cuts him off. Cor Von looks into the camera and said that he will be the most dominate ECW Champion in history. He then proclaimed that this is the “Alpha Male Era”. Burke then replied by saying that it sounds good. Burke then said that to celebrate, there should be a New Breed All-Star Title Extravaganza. Cor Von looked confused, but Burke said that he should get the first title shot. Before he could say anything else, Bobby Lashley came out. Lashley said that he wants his rematch clause, and he wants a 1-on-1 match with Cor Von, but Burke said that he is getting the shot and not Lashley. Matt Striker’s music then hits. He announces that he has been appointed the general manager position. Striker said that without anymore stalling; tonight Elijah Burke would face Bobby Lashley with Lashley’s rematch clause on the line. Striker said that whoever wins tonight would face Cor Von at Backlash. After that, Striker said that if there was any interference on behalf of Elijah Burke then Cor Von would be stripped of the belt. Sabu vs. SnitskyThis was an interesting match with Sabu’s high-flying attacks against Snitsky’s power. Snitsky gave Sabu a big boot, but Sabu kicked out. Enraged, Snitsky went on the outside to grab a chair. He came into the ring and bashed Sabu in the skull with it. Snitsky got disqualified as he looked proud of his actions. Winner: Sabu (By Disqualification)Rebecca interviewed CM Punk backstage, asking if he has chosen a side to be on. Punk said that he is going to think long and hard, and is capable of making a decision at any given moment. CM Punk vs. Tommy Dreamer w/The SandmanNear the end, Dreamer gave Punk a Dreamer Driver, but Punk’s foot was touching the ropes, breaking up the pin. Dreamer picked Punk up for another, but Punk slid out and hit the GTS to win the match. Winner: CM PunkAfter the match, Dreamer and Sandman talked to Punk, although the cameras could not pick up what they said. Punk then nodded as if he understood, and shook both of their hands. As Punk was walking up the entrance ramp, Elijah Burke was clapping as hard as he could, while smiling. Punk then turned back to the ring, and then looked at Burke again. Kevin Thorn w/Ariel vs. Rob Van DamThorn got RVD on the ropes to go for the Original Sin, but RVD elbowed his way out of it. RVD then leaped off of the middle of the ropes into a flying clothesline. RVD then hopped back up and hit the Five-Star Frog Splash to get the three count. Winner: Rob Van DamExtreme Expose was talking backstage, as Maryse, making her debut, went up to them. Maryse said that it is a good thing they are back here and not in the ring because their dancing would stink up the show. Maryse said that she is now the hottest thing on ECW, and Extreme Expolosers need to take notice. After that, Maryse walked out as all three members of Extreme Expose were rolling their eyes wondering what her problem was. #1 Contender’s Match: Bobby Lashley vs. Elijah BurkeMarcus Cor Von did guest commentary during the match. Burke hit a move similar to the Stroke, but got a two count. Lashley then gave Burke a Dominator, but Burke’s foot touched the ropes, and Lashley had to break the pin. Burke raked Lashley’s eyes, and then tripped him into the corner. Lashley got up, and Burke went for the Elijah Express. Lashley moved, and Burke hit the ropes. As Burke got up, Lashley gave him a Spear to win the match and become the #1 Contender. Winner: Bobby Lashley (#1 Contender)After the match, Cor Von came into the ring. He pointed to the title belt, and him and Lashley had a stare down to end the show.

Good opening segment to kick off ECW on Sci-Fi. I like that Matt Striker is the new General Manager of ECW. I hope that Elijah Burke and Marcos Cor Von have a disagreement at some point, too. I'd love to see Burke in a solo run. The opening match of the evening would of been, as you said, interesting. Obviously, because both men were of different styles. I liked that Sabu won by disqualification, a good decision on your part, also. CM Punk beating Tommy Dreamer confused me. Is CM Punk a heel then? Liked him beating Dreamer though. These tag teams 'Dreamer and Sandman, New Breed etc] should spark off a tag team division on ECW to be honesy. Liked Rob Van Dam going over Kevin Thorn, but I hope Thorn gets a push in the future. I'm hoping that Maryse doesn't wrestle and that Sylvain Grenier comes in. I hate Maryse wrestling. Lashley beating Burke in my opinion was a little obvious, but I liked that Burke had some offense in there. Lashley vs. Cor Von is a good decision for Backlash.

You've certainly got some talent, and with a bit of work this diary could be really good. I didn't like Cor Von winning the title on the first show of the diary, since there was no proper build up. Striker as general manager is good, and is certainly different. Good to see Punk getting the win, and it will be interesting to see which side he picks. Cool to see RVD getting the win, but I really hope Thorn gets a push. Lashley getting the win was fine, and the Cor Von/ Lashley match should be good.

Holy Hell! This is great. The best rookie diary I have seen in a long time. You have some real booking skills. Cor Von winning the title was a stroke of genius straight out of nowhere. The booking of the Punk situation is fantastic also and i am intrigued as to where he will go. The undercards are really well booked and always leave me looking forward to the main event. I don't like lashley beating Burke for the title shot as I would have liked to have seen some cracks starting to appear in the New Breed, but I can live with it to see what you are planning. Striker as GM is good. I hope RVD gets pushed although it might be unlikely and I can't wait until Lashley moves. Hope he gets his ass kicked at Backlash.

I like that you got the title off Lashley, but I think I would have rather seen Burke win it rather than Cor Von. Still a good idea though. I like how youre using the Originals too, and I hope RVD gets into the title picture soon.

(April 17th, 2007) The show started out with Bobby Lashley in Matt Striker’s office. Striker’s office had a desk (with a notepad an apple on it), and a chalkboard behind the desk. Striker congratulated Lashley on becoming the #1 contender. Lashley thanked him, and said that he will take back what is rightfully his. Striker then said that tonight Lashley would be in the main event. Just as he said this, CM Punk walked in. Striker told the two of them that they would face each other for the first time ever, right here tonight. Both men shook hands as the camera faded. Kevin Thorn w/Ariel vs. Rob Van DamThorn requested a rematch after losing to RVD last week. However, the result was the same this time as RVD won with the Five-Star Frog Splash. Winner: Rob Van DamAfter the commercial break, Extreme Expose was dancing in the ring. The music stopped, and Maryse’s music played as she came onto the titan tron. She just stood there, acting accomplished because she stopped Extreme Expose in the middle of their act. Backstage, Elijah Burke, Marcus Cor Von, Kevin Thorn, and Ariel were all backstage. Burke said that with Cor Von as the new ECW Champion and CM Punk deciding where to go, he could not believe that Thorn lost. He even said that it is almost as if Thorn is trying to make the New Breed look like a joke. Thorn retaliated by saying the only thing that is a joke is that he has been controlled by Elijah Burke for months. Thorn said that Cor Von doesn’t need Burke, and he and Ariel don’t need Burke. Thorn and Ariel then proceeded to quit the New Breed. After Thorn walked off, Burke looked furious. Hardcore Holly & Snitsky vs. Sabu & Tommy DreamerThe fighting between Snitsky and Sabu spilled to the outside, as Dreamer and Holly were in the ring. Holly went for the Alabama Slam, but Dreamer countered it into a sunset flip to get the surprise win for his team. Winners: Sabu & Tommy DreamerAfter the match, Snitsky picked Sabu up, and gave him a Gorilla press slam through the table. Dreamer tried to go help, but got a big boot for his troubles. Snitsky then laughed as he left ringside. Extreme Expose was in Matt Striker’s office complaining about Maryse. Striker then said that they were probably here to check out their new good-looking general manager. After Striker got three pairs of rolling eyes, he said that next week, Maryse would face one member of Extreme Expose in a match. In another backstage area, Elijah Burke walked up to CM Punk. Burke said that Kevin Thorn just left the New Breed, but it was a good thing. He said that the New Breed needed to cut off its dead weight that was bringing the group down. Burke said that with him, Cor Von, and Punk, they would be more unstoppable than ever. Punk then didn’t say anything, and he walked off. Non-Title Match: Marcus Cor Von (ECW Champion) vs. Steven RichardsRichards barely got in any offense. Cor Von gave him a fallaway slam, and then finished off Richards with the Pounce to get the three count. Winner: Marcus Cor VonCor Von walked up the ramp as Lashley’s music hit as he came down for the main event. They had a stare down for about ten seconds, Cor Von smiled, and then walked past Lashley. First Time Ever: Bobby Lashley vs. CM PunkThis match was even throughout. Lashley hit the Dominator, but only got a two count. Punk locked in the Anaconda Vice, but Lashley was somehow able to reach the ropes. Punk kicked Lashley in the corner, and hit the bulldog. As Punk looked like he was waiting for Lashley to get up to give him the GTS, Burke came out. Burke kept saying “Join us”. Punk tried to tell Burke to leave the ringside area. As Punk turned around, Lashley met him with a Spear. Burke couldn’t believe what just happened as Lashley pinned Punk to win the match. Winner: Bobby LashleyOnce he got up, Punk looked furious with Burke. Cor Von appeared on the entrance ramp, slowly clapping for Lashley. Lashley motioned that he was going to win his title back at Backlash as the show ended.

Wrestling Observer Newsletter News
-Bobby Lashley is moving to Raw full-time after Backlash. While one would think Cor Von would go over Lashley, McMahon is tossing around the idea of Lashley winning the ECW Title, and then being stripped of the belt by McMahon.
Sylvan Grenier was supposed to debut, but suffered a sprained ankle. He should be back within a few weeks.
The Sandman has currently been recovering from a broken finger.
ECW got a 1.8 rating last week, which can be thanked by the title change from the previous week.

I liked the decision for CM Punk and Lashley to meet in the main event. Unsure about Lashley thanking Matt Striker . I hope these two losses against Rob Van Dam leads to a monster push as a new 'Undertaker' sorta guy for ECW. I hope that Thorn's face turn gives him momentum into the push, feud with Burke would rock. The tag team match was rather fun, liked the ECW Originals beating the New Breed, too. Liked Punk remaining neutral. I hated Stevie Richards being demolished by Marcos Cor Von, give him a little push please. The main event I enjoyed, even if Lashley won. I hope Sylvain remains away from the New Breed and the Originals, remaining neutral or against Kelly Kelly. Good for ECW getting a 1.8, if that is good.

The last ECW was decent. Nothing too great, tbh. The opener was ok. You needed some detail, and I don't really see the point of Kevin Thorn jobbing against the same guy again. Also, RVD needs to be further up on the card. Opening is a bad spot for him. The tag team match was pretty good. Much better than the opener. I liked the finish, but I feel you could have some more detail, just like the first match. Glad Dreamer and Sabu picked up the win. Nothing much to comment on the Richards and Cor Von match. Just another squash. The main event was definetly the match of the night. I enjoyed it alot. And it souded like a really entertaining bout. Could have gone either way, but I would have rather had Punk win. Overall, I give the show 7/10. Needs improvement, but still pretty good. Keep it up.

I don't really like Punk beating Dreamer and Sandman in a Handicap Match, then losing to Lashley one on one the following week. I'm glad that you took the belt of Lashley, and Cor Von would make a good champion. Put the title on Kevin Thorn Your doing pretty good so far, and it seems pretty realistic for the most part.
