Holy poop! We just had an earthquake here in NE Philly! Nothing big or anything, but it was scary because we just don't get earthquakes here. I was sitting on my computer chair and I felt movement, like a shaky but smooth movement. I thought it was me getting dizzy or something. I turned around in my chair and looked at my fish tank which was also shaking slightly. After around3 minutes it stopped. I went upstairs to ask my wife if she felt that and indeed she did. Very weird. The only other time this happened is when I was a kid and I slept through it.

Felt it over here in Massachusetts. It knocked my damn DVD shelf over. That was weird, it was the only earthquake I've ever experienced. Can't imagine what a bigger one felt like.

That's so funny, I was also sitting in my computer chair when I felt shaking and the first thing I did was look at my fish tank.
It orignated in Virginia and most of the Northeast felt it.

I was just sitting in my car and it just started shaking like someone was sitting on my trunk and bouncing up and down. That sh*t was f*ckin' nuts! Wow, I was kinda freaked a little, because I didn't know what it was and was thinking "there's no way it's THAT windy outside."

Felt it here in Jersey too. I wasn't really sure at first because I was walking around in my house. Pretty crazy, kind of fun.

5.8 quake in Washington DC.
Cell service is down in lots of places. Our WDC office is evacuating.

I gotta admit, that was kind of exciting, fun almost. Same. Probably just because it was something we're not used to.

Yep. I was just sitting there watching TV and out of nowhere, I feel shaking. Thank god it was nothing big for Philadelphia. Poor Virginia though. :/
