if this competition was about taking an RA figure into a LJN figure then I would have to say as much as I like the Haku and how good the Haku is it is DA form not RA. So if it is a win its a win by default and default only.

The LJN Corp figure had a bearded (non-painted) and painted bearded variants. So GCS figure is accurate just not to the reference picture shown.

TOUGH call, both are absolutely great. the painting on each is incredibly smooth. and the sculpting on gatecity's is very nicely done. but gatecity's head is way off compared to the reference. and to me, this stipulation should involve a lot of accuracy. therefore, im guna hafta go with scotthall on this one.

The custom could be ra or da.
Gate-Your work keeps getting better.Really like this figure looks dead on.Would have rather seen it with out the beard.My only gripes is the camo colors.the one color looks to pink.And the bottom of the pants should have been modded

scotthall-Great job the head and paint is dead on and colors are painted nice and smooth and pops out at you.my only grip is the tape on the feet.

Tuff call on this one but my vote goes to scotthall

Both men put in a great deal of work on both of their customs in such a short period of time. So kudos' to them for delivering such a great match.

Gate - I really like the detail you put into the shirt, really resembles the proto. The necklace is a nice touch as well, and I'm liking the painting on the pants. I'm not too crazy about the head. Also, seeing as you did all that sculpting, it would have been cool to see you sculpt the bottom of the pants to resemble the bagginess of the pants as shown on the LJN figure.

Hall - Very impressive figure. The modding on the head is superb, so well done on that. The tights look smooth, although it would have been nice to see some shots of the side of the tights. The chest hair looks pretty realistic as well. The only thing I can spot that is inaccurate in comparison to the LJN, would be the tape on the feet.

Both great figures, but in the end, I'll give it to Scott Hall. The modding on the head really does it for me.

I'll vote Gateway, only cuz I dont like the part choices for Haku. Otherwise, Haku has really nicely done with extremely smooth painting.

The Corp, Kirchner is great could be improved by making the bottom of the pants alittle more baggy and the sides of the hair alittle more puffier.. everything else looks great.
The Haku also looks great, Would have love to seen side pics to see how accurate you captured the tropical trees? The head sculpting is just about spot on and I love the way you did his body hair (probably the best body hair painting i've seen).

FINAL VOTE GOES TO: Gatecitysinner..

Reason: The main reason is the fact that the haku figure was photoshopped for presentation and the arms look way to small but I think that is just from the photoshop outline, so who is to say that some areas of the figure itself are not photoshopped? If the figure would have been posted with straight up pics like Gatecitysinners then I would have possibly voted for haku...........

these two are great great customs. its a nice match, but i dont think its as close as everyone is saying it is.
gate- this is one awesome piece. the sculpting is just awesome. the hair looks great, and the shirt is very detailed. all the painting is smooth. its a really ace figure.

scott- absolutely stunning figure. the head looks great and its modded very well.it looks extremely realistic. the painting seems flawless. straight lines on the tights and a smooth even skintone. the chest hair is also neatly done.the sculpting done for the hair and ankle wraps were just great.

he made a great figure with perfect painting. both are very well done figures, but the painted skintone and seemingly perfect paintjob outshines gates sculpting and painting.
even though i like gate as a customizer, and hes a nice guy, i dont really think he should be getting all the votes hes been recieving. im feeling its more of a popularity contest instead of customs...

Your Opinion just like everyone elses, Just Because you like one better doesn't mean that other people feel the same way, Maybe if nwo would have taking all around pics and not used photoshop he may have more votes or maybe not, Judging by the few votes they seem to explain themselves and their reasoning on picking the winner, I would only agree with this statement you made if it was alot of votes made on simple name and no explanation on why.....
