This is such a joke. I won't be competing in any events were the "fans" get to vote, that's for sure.... Hence why the PPVs have judges. This is just a challenge between these two guys.. speaking of which, we should probably figure out whether stuff like this should go on your records or not. With some of these votes, I'm inclined to say no.

It doesn't matter if it goes as a loss on my record, if it were a PPV match then I think I'd already be down 0-2 by the judge's votes. And as for Deen, I sent Becca about 100 pictures and I know she didn't want to use all of them, and one of them was the picture below. The reference picture she used was to show the camo design so that people could know how hard I tried to get it to look like the LJN. And I would appreciate it if you guys wouldn't bash me in the process of your voting.

gate if i bashed you or was negative to you in any way it wasnt intentional. mostly what i was getting annoyed by was people were voting and giving any real reason for it. if everyone voted for you and had a serious reason on why, instead of "i like gate and i did a coin toss", then it wouldnt have bothered me

I believe those who vote gate are doing so because he followed the stip better, to faithfully recreate the ljn figure. his custom is different from the ref pic his ref pic didnt have a beard i know there is a varient with a beard but he didnt use that one Hall missed out on damn near everything but the head. The foot taping is wrong, the body is way off and even my wife noticed the glaring differences in the tights design. Even if he was going for realism to Haku, he failed, Haku was a big guy at that time, but he had a little definition, using that body is like saying he and Umaga are the same shape, which is far from true.

It's bitching and whining like this that give the Customs Forum a bad name in a lot of people's eyes.
One person did a coin toss.
One.
Person.
Everyone else gave an informed opinion, though not everyone to the extent that others did. Fine, writing a novel critiquing the work isn't a requirement.
Everyone else posted a reason for their vote. You don't like them? So what. Grow up.
Do you all whine this much when your politician loses in elections? Is it only because of 'uninformed idiots?' Please. Stop.
You hit the nail on the head. While he did a lot of the little things right (and again, made a great Haku head) he didn't start with a good base, thus blowing it in my eyes. So no matter how good the rest is (and there is a lot of good stuff on Haku), he doesn't get my vote. Nothing personal.
Some of you need to put away your hang-ups and insecurities or personal feelings and let 'the people' judge, since, you know, we were kinda asked to.

Making a contest were you're supposed to make exact replicates of another action figure brand takes the creativity completely out of the competition. That's problem number one. I'll just leave it at that.

The stip is RA or DA version of an LJN. If you want to read that as an exact replica, you can, if you want to read it as that's the base to start off of and reinvent the figure, you can do that too (in my eyes, at least). They picked the stip guys.

When I picked the stipulation I saw it as recreating an LJN to the best of my ability in RA(or DA or whatever) form. Sort of like if I had done someone from a specific match, the same attire and everything.
As for all of the Horsemen voting for me, the only Horsemen to do so is Titan, that's one. If you look back you'll see that Deen voted for Hall, so I guess it's 1-1.
What is the big deal? Honestly, who really cares? What's the worst thing that can happen, I lose? It's not that big of a deal.
I'm already 0-1 vs the heavyweights. Funny how I'm the only person who's faced someone in a division higher than themselves. It's ok though, I'm 8-0 vs everyone else.
This was a mistake, because all this did was give everyone a reason to whine and complain and just make this not fun.
Contest over, Hall wins, I lose. Happy?

I myself said some of the votes was lame and they are. This was never a attack on gate i have alot of respect for him and his work.I don't know why some people are making it look like its a all out attack on gate.
And i don't see how it's bitching and whining when all people are doing is expressing the way they feel.If people wanted to bitch and moan they could have been doing that over all the past judges of the ppv's was members of the gold club My main reason to bring up the votes was to show that a popular vote in a ppv or snme would never work.
