This maybe the wrong place to post, I apologize if so.
Now that the McMahons are out of wwe, what do you think are the chances we'll see new figures? The McMahons held grudges due to lawsuits, and other reasons. So with McMahon being gone, I doubt TKO would hold those grudges. Why exclude popular characters, such as Demolition, from a toy line now?
I know I really don't want the 100th HBK or HHH figure. It would be nice to get wrestlers we've never had. Hercules, Dino Bravo, Gangrel, Mil Mascaras, anyone other than the usuals.

Trips has said that the WWE is looking to pay respect to the legends and veterans of the past, through appearances and merch. I think we’re in store for some cool names down the line.

It comes down to if they see it profitable. They still don’t have Macho Man back under a deal so I don’t think lower level names would be prioritised just as usual. Supposedly Headbangers and Dudley’s have deals and we still haven’t seen anything about figures for them.

They just signed Pillman so I think we will start seeing more legends under deals in the near future. I'm hoping for Midnights and Rock N Rolls. Also, Macho is all over the WWE2k advertising, if he wasn't under ANY deal at all he would not even be mentioned.

It’s been said before that new figures take up about a year to be done, if they’re retooling parts for the Headbangers, that would be a reason to why you haven’t seen them yet, I’m sure you’ll see them come WrestleMania week or SDCC.

We really need more Attitude/RA mid carders and tag teams.

With dead wrestlers, it 100% is also up to their estates. Vince held a lot of grudges but a lot held grudges against him and the company.

I'm kind of anxious to see Classic Dudleys & Early 90s Steiners who are already signed but there's no word on...

Wwf went around and poached the top guys from the territories. If you saw a guy in 1980s wwf, that guy was probably the champion in a smaller promotion.

His wife allowed AEW to make a figure, to please fans. So if Vince, and his family, are out of the picture, would Mrs Hart allow TKO to make an wwe Owen? I wish.

But those aren't big names in terms of marketing value in 2024. If anything, the fact that they've been entirely ignored by the WWE for the past 30+ years means they have little to no value in terms of WWE Legends deals. I'm all for getting as many FTIL figures as we can. But don't expect anything beyond the usual churn of new names.

I'm all for getting as many FTIL figures as we can. But don't expect anything beyond the usual churn of new names. It's a loaded question/statement. I don't know for certain who's right here. On one hand you have a point. Kids today don't know who Paul Roma is, kids don't know who Ultimo Dragon is. Kids today probably don't know who Ric Flair is. So you're right in that the name recognition isn't what it used to be. But I dont think Kids are the primary customer for figures. I think it's mostly grown adult men that buy figures. My 9 year old has no idea who HHH or HBK are, but those figures get made non stop. So I know it isn't children that the figures are marketed to. I know my 9 year old is more likely to ask me for 30 dollars worth of Vbucks or Robux or Shiny Rocks before he asks for a physical toy, like a figure. And as an adult buying figures, I know I'm more interested in names of yesteryear than I am in a figure of the newly signed divas.

I’m not getting my hopes up, but if it means that I can get more mid and late 90s WCW figures. I’ll be happy.

With dead wrestlers, it 100% is also up to their estates. Vince held a lot of grudges but a lot held grudges against him and the company. That’s the key. While pro-wrestling meant a lot to the talent, a lot of families want nothing to do with it.
