I was going to say biggest wasted spot, but thought it might hurt some feelings (not sure why). Totally agree with what you’re saying, and I know they can’t make everyone you can think of. But there’s some that they can, and haven’t yet, which would be more appealing than a child. Side note on the stage….They would have easily got the 4k if they had planned the whole thing better, that failing was on Mattel, not collectors like us. I’m still very bitter about that if you can’t tell lol. I agree with the stage thing. They handled marketing wrong and should of fired off on all cylinders from the get go. Have WWE air the commercials during WM or whatever PPV was on and give a good extension. I think the lineup they chose was fine, but some of the attires weren’t super exclusive or gave people incentive to purchase (besides huge WCW fans like me). Even with Steiner they initially screwed up his singlet, had no decals (until last minute), wrong boots and showed painted on biker shorts rather than molded. Still bugs me that we’ll never get the stage I’ve wanted since my childhood. It was really the holy grail for my collection. I hope we could get a scaled Nitro stage at some point, I’ve seen many, but most of the ones I’ve seen fall short in one way or another. I think Niko has probably made the most accurate one I’ve seen. #endrant Completely agree! Don't want to bang on about it as it's been and gone (hopefully not forever), but I also strongly believe that they would have at least made the first target if it didn't seem like international customers were getting screwed over, or at least offered a payment plan. I do hope they try again, if done right then it could well be second time lucky!

Honestly, if we just get an Attitude Era Vince I'll be happy. It's amazing that they never did this when they could have. Now they never will. I figured we aren't getting one so I made my own. I went on Ebay & grabbed the Basic two-pack a few years back for the head; I got it cheap, before all the McMahon dirty business hit the fan.

I tell yall what, I don't know who to blame for the lack of distribution of not only the MNW elites but elites in general. Walmarts around me just barely stocks them. And targets around me only get legends.regular elite lines are literally all ringside exclusives for me. That's the only way I will get them. I feel like it's mattels fault because when jakks had the license the store pegs were ALWAYS full. There was never running around not finding anything. I miss the jakks days every peg and every store was full. At this point I'm ready for jakks to take back over or some company that actually wants to put their product on store pegs. This crap is getting more ridiculous as the years go by. It's time for a change!

In Walmart's eyes, Elites are Elites and why would they order more, mainline at least, when the pegs are just clogged with the same crappy old ones (at least at my area ones)?! Can't fault Walmart for not hiring toy collectors (I.e. nerds like me) to run their toy dept (though that would be a sick job!).

So this is where THE BIG BOYS PLAY Snagged 2 of these bad boys earlier this morning Awesome dude! I found the complete wave last week at my local Walmart then two days later found the wave for a second time untouched at a Walmart across town! Hoping series 3 are easy to find in stores as well..

Your dedication to keeping this alive is one of my favorite things ever on this site. WCW is severely underutilized. There's been alot of names/looks on the table for years yet we hear there's no place in the line for them. Yeh and as grandmasterPRA's "missing legends lists" showed (as of 1 year ago) ranked by PPV appearances and capped at "top 100", Mattel has only covered around 38% of the NWA/WCW era (1988-1994), and only 33% of the WCW/NWO era (1995-2001). I love the fact that the information he gathered was purely factual, and not opinion based. And obviously the top 100 is only the tip of the iceberg for us hardcore WCW fans. But it gives a good snapshot of where we're at anyway, and illustrates the great potential for WWE to approach more WCW names (and make use of those new types of merchandise contracts aimed at the non-A-listers). Obviously Mattel can only make suggestions of who WWE should approach, and there's no guarantee WWE will approach everyone, or that the talent will actually make the deals, but with the Monday Night Wars line and the new types of WWE contracts, now is the time to try and finally hit more of these "first time" and "deep dive" WCW names, and us WCW fans need to let Mattel/WWE know we want them to try to dig deeper. I actually just updated the numbers on that original post. The NWA/WCW percentage is up to 42% now and the WCW/NWO Era is up to 36% now. So I think that they have made 4 from early WCW/NWA and 3 from NWO/WCW top 100 since that post was made. I think they were Harley Race, Big Bubba Rogers, The Great Muta and Terry Gordy for Early and Rick Steiner, Vincent, and Big Bubba Rogers for late. I'm pretty sure Big Bubba kind of blended between both eras a little bit.

Finally added it to my collection now. I may put the head on a suited figure as well, but I dont like the brown.

Stopped by the store closest to me this morning hoping for series 2. Still that same Hogan that’s been sitting on the peg alone for close to 3 weeks now.😕

Has anyone confirmed is series 2 will be restocked to stores or if it was one and done (one box to each store)?

I've noticed something strange.. locally series 1 wasn't hard to find but Hall, Austin and Taker were usually always gone quickly. Hogans hanging mostly everywhere. Now all I see is Austin and Hall. No Hogan or Taker anywhere. And of course I can't find Taker anywhere after learning there's a properly painted goatee version out there instead of the Matilda version

ive still been hitting up the local stores and no signs of MNW 2 on the pegs at all. there were like two stores i hit in my travels that had triple H and Rey--i did also mention finding figswapped nash and diesel but beyond that no signs of series two. im really bummed i KNEW from the getgo that Diesel and Nash would be impossible to find in store and its..just..yeah. sucks that they are BAF aswell so i have a half built potentially very useful figure just chilling around

I've given up the hunt for MNW Series 2. 40+ Walmart trips covering over the course of 3-4 weeks over 3 states SHOULD have found SOMETHING. Came up empty-handed every time. Never even saw a HINT of Series 2. Ordered Nash on eBay & screw the rest. Don't need them. I have all of Series 3 pre-ordered from Walmart and if they don't come - I'm not getting those, either. If they don't wanna stock these things then fine. I don't think there's anything we can do.

It's probably best if I never see Series 2. I don't need any, but I'd buy Diesel because it makes me laugh. I've really gotta reel it in, lmfaooo.
