I mean..... WHO do we complain to? I seriously want to know who is in charge of the Walmart Toy department. Complaining to Steve/Mattel isn't going to change this. They keep sending me surveys - and I keep giving them all negative ratings + in whatever comments area allowed I write "Came to store looking for Action Figures - WWE - Mattel - Monday Night Wars - Walmart EXCLUSIVE. Your store did not have them stocked so I left." I don't expect anyone to care, but they keep sending me surveys, soooo..... There has to be some corporate Walmart person who oversees "Toys & Games" or something. If you give them less than five stars on any of those surveys, I think it's the store's general manager that gets the heat, but that doesn't travel up the chain at all. I mentioned in one of them that a specific store has had a serious figure swapping problem and the only response I got was from the store GM saying they don't have enough people to stock toys, go figure. Then they shouldn't be given exclusive products that can't be found anywhere else but in these terribly understaffed stores that cannot find anyone to stock them. There's a bigger problem though. These stores are only getting 1-per-case on these. First collector or scalper on-site and they're gone. Usually never to be seen again, until they're being sold on EBAY. They shouldn't be going months and months without restocking them. Ever. They did a "reset" in April and I've seen nothing but Basics & a few Superstars come in since then - nothing else. That's a whole month - there are only 12 in a year. The reality is they haven't had Elites around here for 4-5 months - that's almost HALF THE YEAR. Someone is losing sales here. I'm still gobsmacked that nobody notices this or cares.

Walmart should be filled with their exclusive sets for a certain period of time and nobody should have any trouble finding them when they are supposed to be available. What comes in on the truck everyday is a good question because nothing changes from day to day. They are always doing inventory every month or two so they should have good idea what they need. Plus somebody in the store must see what needs to be ordered in the aisle.
It is questionable where all the elites are going because neither Walmart or Target are getting any in since the Wrestlemania display at Walmart.

I really hope we get a ‘98 Wolfpac Hogan with red flame boots, white fingerless gloves and that sweet tan. The ringside version was a major letdown imo.

wcw 4 horsemen era (will never happen i know) The Yeti - wcw debut attire, bandages Yun Yang - wcw jung dragons era, black gi top accessory Your dedication to keeping this alive is one of my favorite things ever on this site. WCW is severely underutilized. There's been alot of names/looks on the table for years yet we hear there's no place in the line for them. Then I see Nicholas get a BAF. Yes, I know he got a figure because it was apart of the deal to make his dad but I don't recall anyone ever asking for a John Cone figure. People have been asking for modern day refs forever and not just wrestlers as special guest referees. Maybe not overwhelming specifically calling out Cone as a want but definitely a modern ref has been a major request for so many people on here. Even so much, some have even said they’d settle for some generic head on a modern ref body.

That BAF Nicholas was one of the most wasted spots to date by Mattel.

Biggest wasted spot by WWE..... nobody was asking for a child to win the tag team championship at Wrestlemania.... I think as fans/collectors, we over-value some of those WCW names. WCW's been gone for 25 years. It's fan base when it died wasn't huge - not big enough to make it worth saving, at least to Turner OR Vince McMahon. I'd suspect a figure would have to sell - what, 50,000 units to make it worth production? Do we really think there are 50,000 people ready to buy "Berlyn" or "The Wall"? Heck even a Sean O'Haire or Prince Iaukea? Heck, drop my "guesstimate" by half, that's still 25,000 units. I mean - I'd probably buy them - but We couldn't even get 4000 people to buy the Nitro stage.

My son has been wanting a Nicholas figure for the last 6 years. He loved that someone his age was picked from the crowd and won the tag strap.

Totally agree with what you’re saying, and I know they can’t make everyone you can think of. But there’s some that they can, and haven’t yet, which would be more appealing than a child. Side note on the stage….They would have easily got the 4k if they had planned the whole thing better, that failing was on Mattel, not collectors like us. I’m still very bitter about that if you can’t tell lol.

Even if the line is hard to find, I just want to see more "First Time" and "Deep Dive" names, particularly on the WCW side. WCW is severely underutilized. There's been alot of names/looks on the table for years yet we hear there's no place in the line for them. Yeh and as grandmasterPRA's "missing legends lists" showed (as of 1 year ago) ranked by PPV appearances and capped at "top 100", Mattel has only covered around 38% of the NWA/WCW era (1988-1994), and only 33% of the WCW/NWO era (1995-2001). I love the fact that the information he gathered was purely factual, and not opinion based. And obviously the top 100 is only the tip of the iceberg for us hardcore WCW fans. But it gives a good snapshot of where we're at anyway, and illustrates the great potential for WWE to approach more WCW names (and make use of those new types of merchandise contracts aimed at the non-A-listers). Obviously Mattel can only make suggestions of who WWE should approach, and there's no guarantee WWE will approach everyone, or that the talent will actually make the deals, but with the Monday Night Wars line and the new types of WWE contracts, now is the time to try and finally hit more of these "first time" and "deep dive" WCW names, and us WCW fans need to let Mattel/WWE know we want them to try to dig deeper.

I’m still very bitter about that if you can’t tell lol. I agree with the stage thing. They handled marketing wrong and should of fired off on all cylinders from the get go. Have WWE air the commercials during WM or whatever PPV was on and give a good extension. I think the lineup they chose was fine, but some of the attires weren’t super exclusive or gave people incentive to purchase (besides huge WCW fans like me). Even with Steiner they initially screwed up his singlet, had no decals (until last minute), wrong boots and showed painted on biker shorts rather than molded. Still bugs me that we’ll never get the stage I’ve wanted since my childhood. It was really the holy grail for my collection. I hope we could get a scaled Nitro stage at some point, I’ve seen many, but most of the ones I’ve seen fall short in one way or another. I think Niko has probably made the most accurate one I’ve seen. #endrant

The target way (legends) Mnw pretty Much non existent on my travels. No sign of s2 yet. A few hogans and the occassional undertaker. Only seen hall once and stone cold twice. No sign of elites at all for months now. Flair has a good point.
