Considering what Kerry goes for these days, $45 is fair. If I do bite on these, it'll probably just be him, Hansen & Brody.

I'm glad we finally have more information on these. $45 is a little more than I hoped they would be, but the price makes sense compared to what other smaller companies are charging for similarly sized figures.
I will probably get all of the first series, but I hope there is some kind of discount code or bundle price like he mentioned. I'm happy with Highspots selling these. I've had many good interactions with them over the years.
As for the future? I hope they stick to somewhat bigger names or this line may not make it far. As mentioned earlier in this thread, the random Rougeau cousin probably isn't going to sell very well.
I wouldn't mind seeing a trading card set or something along those lines. It sounds like they have a good number of people under contract, so they probably have enough names to fill out a set of trading cards.

I think that’s the big 3, dibiase is a big loss as he would’ve been a big 4th. I’m not sure the Rougeau‘s will be all that popular. I can’t see them doing the Fabulous Rougeaus attire nor the Mountie or quebeckers. How many people will be interested in his Montreal or stampede attires? I think there’s 100% room for a figure company focusing on the pre-wwf golden era legends but it needs to be those with cache Lou thez, Hanson, gorgeous George, Billy graham, even beck to the days of hackenschmidt and gotch. But it’s the ‘full family’ thing which takes it too far imo.

I think using the big names for figures, but having the smaller names on retainer so they could be used in graphic novels, cards etc would be the best approach. Then a bit of a bio on the back of the cousins cars about him and how he fit into the family etc would be a better approach. They have gagne and magnum involved but both have been out of the business for a long time. I’d say someone like cournette would be a great consultant for something like this - he knows all about the old days, has much more recent experience and could potentially bridge the gap.

Awesome. I'll be getting them all.

Only Kerry for me this time but the price seems reasonable to me compared to other figures from the smaller companies.

$45 is reasonable I think. I’ll try to pick them all up I think.

Is it possible to reset the poll? It would be interesting to know now we know more what peoples intentions are
Also someone asked about kickstarter. They mentioned they didn’t need the funds from kickstarter, from what I understand it was just a mechanism for selling but maybe they have a partner website or have sorted out their own backend to do the sales?

I love Corny. I’ve dealt with him for many years, gotten many treasures off of him and consider him (as most do) to be one of the greatest managers of all-time. That being said, one area he knows little about is “dolls,” as he calls them. I do have more than a feeling that he was more than instrumental in getting the Midnights and Dr. Tom signed up with the figure company that shall go unnamed. That also sadly means that they probably won’t be part of PowerTown.

I ment more he knows who drew and is still in the public conscious etc. I’m not so sure they have that finger on the pulse enough at powertown? I could be wrong. I think some of the personnel decisions could mean they take a big hit on certain figures

kickstarter or not I still really dont expect these things ever to release unless they already have them made up. If this is a made to order ordeal like ZombieSailor is/was I dont think there's gonna be enough interest.

I was feeling the same as you until that part was announced. They’re good business people in general and wouldn’t have signed on unless they checked out that everything will actually get done. I have no hope that we’ll get to the kind of “deep dives” that I’m personally looking for, but I think we’ll at least get the first set. I will also say that I’ll be sad for a lot of the wrestlers/families too. Some have been mentioning this “project” to me long before we ever heard about it and Leilani Kai (a friend and one of my most wanted figures for this line) was practically jumping out of her seat talking about it when I saw her last month.

These will be close to $60 when you add in shipping and tax. While the figures are nice, not worth it for me

These are really cool figures but, I really want the belts. I am afraid they look too small for the figures. I hope they fix it before they are released.

My dad somehow found out they're doing Gorgeous George and I actually had to think what an "Ultimate" Gorgeous George would be, along with some of these others.
Do you homage the famed puppet?

I'd recently unloaded a lot of my 6" collection and was purely focusing on the Micro Brawler range...but these might pull me back in. If I do take the plunge, I'll be putting money down on Bruiser Brody, Stan Hansen and Magnum TA. Kerry Von Erich may end up on the cutting floor when it comes to the collective amount + costs of shipping to Australia. Verne & Lou don't are really out of my realm of knowledge (and interest to be honest), so are easy passes for me

Some new names signed:
Ukom Eric Mighty atlas Hard boiled haggerty Wilbur schnider Don Leo Jonathan Nick bockwinkle Jake the milkman Milliman The Tully brothers Tom rocky stone Kenny side buster Jay George scrap iron gadasky
(This is from the major pod and I just quickly scribbled them down so my spelling might be off)
Also high spots doing distro and want first series out before or week after Xmas. They will be doing 140 mini figs, I think like muscle figures.
