This company is a joke. Steve might have had years of experience when he made figures that shipped directly to stores and went up on the pegs, but he has ZERO experience in the modern toy world. This company is drowning in preorders, with nothing to show. I’d be surprised if they get anything out before Q2 2025.

If they lost their factory, this to me seems like things could be delayed. Why do you think they would have lost their factory? 3:33

Mr. Yellow Fair enough. It isn’t a rumor I had heard but that is a very logical theory. That would absolutely suck as it would create substantial delays and/or quality issues depending upon where they ended up.

Judging by the fact that cardona showed production samples of his two pack, I’d bet that gets released pretty soon.

ABSOLUTELY NOBODY is asking for the pre order to reopen at this point. What a load of BS. And still radio silence on the "make right" for those that ordered outside the US. I agree. I will not pre-order anything more at this point. If they still have leftovers (after i receive the product i alreDy preordered) than I might consider ordering again but I wasn't born yesterday. Are there people asking for that on facebook? Certainly Noone here was.

Seen more people wanting to cancel than pre order

I just want to know if the remco figures are good quality. Hard to preorder without having the physical product.

Everyone is going in blind on the Remco quality. Maybe they'll have a toy youtuber do an early review & comparison in the coming weeks. I believe they did that with Ultras 1. I did think it was interesting that the promotional pics of the Remcos were tangible prototypes instead of renders like they use for everything else.

Just randomly discovered this and man I love the soft goods and belts Im seeing. I would definitely buy a bigger guy if they make someone like Bundy, Gonzalez or something along those lines to make them look even larger than their Mattel counterparts but until then I will be looking for those soft goods and belts on the bay or other places. Great details, way more than Mattel. Even the simple way the legs go INTO the boot mold and dont just sit on top of them is amazing.

where are they at with the TNA figures?? at this rate, Jordynne Grace will be on WWE's main roster and have a Mattel Ultimate by the time her Powertown figure comes out

I thought the MWFP crew were ecstatic that Powertown were taking on the TNA contract so this situation won't reflect well on them either
would anyone really be surprised if Powertown collapse after all these recent goings on? seems odd for a company with a relatively "strong" standing to suddenly change tack so much

Everything worked out for Epic in the end. The Sabu figure didn’t turn out great and it had that initial leg issue. Taking on that x4 would have really hurt them in a number of ways. Not to mention it gave them the benefit of focusing on their retro line and expanding into the world of Galoob.
That said, I do feel bad for the talent as I believe Epic would have released the figures before PowerTown. I can’t speculate on the feelings of others and how this may reflect on them. What I will speculate on is the health of PowerTown. Whatever is going on behind closed doors is making for bad optics. The free figure giveaway was a really awesome makegood. Saying you have no excuses felt like the best apology and approach to this situation. But it has been a month and the only other thing we have heard is “money please!” That and no indication of what is causing the delays. Even more worrisome is the strong possibility they haven’t even started production on any of these.
PowerTown has produced some amazing figures and the new ones look every bit as good as the previous ones. I want PowerTown to succeed and create a new standard for figure making in that form factor. I would say that it isn’t our business to know what is actually going on but when customers have given you their money and their trust, those same people are justified in seeking answers. It is in PowerTown’s own best interests to be more transparent by showing they have nothing to hide. When you’re not, it leads to the situation we have before us today.

I'm just going to call the elephant in the room because I think us old-timers are looking a these line-ups with rose-tinted glasses.
The scale is off, the bow-leggedness is rampant, the tiny hands/feet syndrome is disappointing, they are by no means perfect wrestling action figure renditions. But they have names, names of legends we'll never see anywhere else.
I don't understand why some of you are giving them a pass on the freebies, they were defective stock - I guess points to them for not trying to sell defective product.
The business-side of this company feels so shady, kinda sucks for me to know Magnum T.A. is tied up with this investment. These guys are supposed to be experts in the toy design/engineering world? I expect better.

I'm under the impression that the TNA set have been in some form of production this whole time, hopefully just delayed at the end. I am holding them to their new March-April 2025 estimation. If at this moment they haven't been produced at all, no way we're going to get them until late 2025. I've already decided that when we get another delayed update, I will cancel my order. I'll buy Moose online and Jordynne Grace will be in WWE early 2025, so Mattel will have her 1st figure out by mid 2026.
I do appreciate PowerTown giving away the free figures. It seems like I did get one from the 2nd wave, my Brody didn't come with the "Display Only" sticker, but I haven't opened it to test it out.
I think that PowerTown knows that they are not going to meet the new early 2025 estimate and they aren't giving us a real timeline because too many people will cancel.
This is very unfortunate because I want companies like this to succeed so we can get more figures. I hope one day we know the full story and timeline of what went wrong exactly.

A lot of speculation… we really don’t know. Powertown didn’t really give us play by play when ultras S1 began shipping. Could they have factory issues? Wouldn’t be surprised …but Kyle Petersons conspiracy theory segment is more for clicks and money making content than a reliable source. We’ll see. Just have to Wait if the next deadline comes and go
Also, PowerTown didn’t just give away defective stock. Everyone was available; the ones who got defective figures waited too late to redeem or there was oops in packing your order.

I hope others don't mistake this companies missteps as somehow being a result of their talent choices. The first wave did pretty good, and while I hope they get back on their feet, I hope the talent (especially the older and underrepresented) get their figures sooner rather than later be it PowerTown or somewhere else.
