I felt the need to bump this thread, even though I was late on the timing, because the beginning of the month marked 30 years since the world lost him. This was one of the articles I saw that was posted on the anniversary.

And I'll always say this, John Candy was one of the greatest gifts Canada gave to the world, both as an entertainer and a human being. He falls into that category of people that if more were like him, we'd probably being living in a better world.
