Updates not panning out doesn't mean they're not more transparent. They've given us far more updates than S7 has as to where the line currently stands. S7 has left us in the ing dark since TJ came here to hard shill series 2 of New Japan. Any S7 updates have been from a customer service rep doing the same goal post shifting regarding a release date except we don't get a fraction of any of the other information like we're getting from Boss Fight.

Information that doesn't pan out is still better than no information.

Pretty sure they've been January since the last update. Someone in this thread posted an email from S7 saying they were shipping in February. That might be what you're remembering.

It's always been January. Says so in the email if you've pre-ordered them too. Alas, can't wait to get my hands on these!

Flynn replied to me on IG and said they're set to leave the factory in January, meaning they'll be in hand in February. So like, they're really almost done and on their way.

The wait is almost over for these, can't wait to see the final product. A couple of more months and we'll finally have NJPW on our shelves, invading figure feds for dream matches.

Finally. The funny thing is, these are so niche, that if there are any errors or bad quality (like with AEW) ... too damn bad.

Brian Flynn is still telling people these leave the factory this month and should be in hand in February. The fact he posted the final packaging sample for Ishii is probably a good sign that we might be nearing the end of the road for series 1.

Pre-Order Update!
Thank you for your patience as we navigated the various challenges the past year threw at us! Our promise to you was to create the best possible figures, and we are excited to let you know that we are so close now. We know you are going to love the final product!

The production of the NJPW Wave 1 ULTIMATES! Figures is continuing and we are happy to share the final packaging and the unpainted test shots of each figure here.

The resin sculpts shown during the pre-order were used by the factory to create the tooling for steel molds. These molds are now being used for the injection process as production begins.

We will be sending another update very soon showing the deco (painted) samples of the figures as the process nears completion.

We anticipate that the NJPW Wave 1 ULTIMATES! Figures will be headed our way before February, with delivery to you in March 2021 pending travel time from the factory.

Once again, we thank you for your patience as we strive to deliver the quality figures you expect and deserve!

Here's the unpainted resin prototypes. They look amazing. Can't wait to see them painted!
