In a first for Super 7 the first Andre shipped pretty close to their estimated time. Mine is on the way. Was stoked to have New Japan in scale with Mattel by this year, but the wait will continue.

I got my André this past Friday. Here’s some photos I shared on my page. http://instagram.com/p/CHS9i-knF2c While I’m not the biggest fan of the headsculpts myself the closed mouth Andre has the best likeness imo. If we continue to be vocal maybe we can get new head sculpts in time for his next pre-order. |

I’m not sure if it’s the really bad scans that look nothing like him or the paint apps used on the figure or both, but yeah that figure looks incredibly cheap to me. The box looks great but the figure looks like he’d be 5 bucks or less at a garage sale.

I don't hate the Andre figure but I'm not impressed either. But I do appreciate it in a weird kind of way. It looks stylish and has a very pop art kinda feel to it. Looks like a relic of the past with added articulation of today's standards.

So I have pre-order the NJPW figures already, but once I saw the Andre figure it got me thinking, and I have looked at what pictures are up on RSC and watch a few videos, but are the NJPW figures have double jointed knees or are they also on no jointed knees?

I didn’t get the shipping notifications or Andre but then realized I ordered it from a Toy Store that was both Big and Bad. Speaking of, WWE Action Vinyls haven’t showed up yet. Wonder how long they will be delayed as they were due to ship in October... As far as NJPW goes...they have 4 figures and lots of accessories. They probably also have way more oversight than Andre’s estate. Not surprising that they are taking longer. I ordered Andre from the same store you did, have you gotten a shipping notice from them?? Even gone so far to look on eBay but it’s too expensive compared to what “the toy store” has it for. |

The heads on Andre came out a little better than the initial photos. But the single joined knee and general shape of the leg just looks so out of place on a modern figure. They're looking very Jakks esque to me.

I'm OK with the delays on the NJPW line. As long as the figures turn out well, I'm fine with waiting.
I think it's great they have faith in the line and are planning more for the future. I will buy every figure they make if the quality is good.
It will be interesting to see which legends they have planned. I'm also hoping to get as many championships as possible from this line too.

We are only finally a few months away from getting these, hoping the wait is worth it. 2021 should hoprfully be a good year for the Super 7 NJPW line as long as there are no more delays
