Epsiode 1-3 are horse crap. I grew up with VHS tapes of Star Wars, saw the Special Editions in theaters ( hated the changes) and saw Episode 1 in theaters. The opening was exciting, then..... Nothing. I felt nothing. All 3 movies did nothing for me. Technology was greater in the past than future? Ok George. Jar Jar??? Stupid. Trilogy long love angle with Padme ( teen) and Anikin ( 12yra old).,.. Thats rape. in space rape. Stand out moments of Episode 1-3: Darth Maul Tusken Raider slayings Clone War ( the technology was TOO much) George wanted to blow money and speed through film making. We have a 12 year okd slave who built 3P0 and lnew R2 yet nothing was mentioned in the OT??? They were never reprogrammed... Makes no sence. Clone Wars Animated - Epic Rebels- great Episode 4-6 - EPIC Episode 1-3 - dog crap Thumbs up for the phrase "space rape" In space, no one can hear you scream!

Ready To Rumble and Mortal Kombat: Annihilation I enjoyed Ready Rumble more than I enjoyed WCW honestly.

Trailer looked fantastic. It gave me the same chills each Star Wars trailer does when that music hits. Hopefully this one delivers and I really think it is going to. I like the sword. Is it practical? No, but we are in a universe where Jedi Mind Tricks, talking robots, giant fur people & a little green elf are a common thing. So I can let that slide. And the fact that some people online are complaining about a black Stormtrooper is amazing to me. Grow up and get with the times. For all we know every stormtrooper from the original was black! It's probably because it's pandering for the sake of pandering. The clones were supposed to be Jango Fett clones, last I checked, Jango was white. So I guess there was a mix up with the cloning machine that changed the pigment of one of their clones... Obviously it's not worth complaining until we know the context. It could be another character disguised. That's what I thought about Clone Troopers also, but I thought Stormtroopers weren't Jango clones but rather enlisted people. So I asked a friend who is way more into SW than me. I just like the original 3, but he liked all movies, books and cartoons. Anyway I said I was correct that Stormtroopers weren't clones. But even if they were for all we know he could have been in disguise like Han and Luke in episode IV.

Rumors have Aaron Paul (Jesse from Breaking Bad) connected to a Han Solo movie.
I would be very pleased if he starred as a young Solo.

I like Aaron Paul, thought he was amazing in BB, but I don't know how I feel about him playing Han Solo. My favorite character from Star Wars so it's just a big boots to fill situation. I have zero problem with Paul in a Star Wars movie, I love that actually, but him playing Solo is going to be an issue for me. This is seemingly unnecessary while Ford is still working on the new trilogy as well imo.

If Aaron Paul stars in a Star Wars movie, I'd collectively lose my sh*t.

My thought is, if they have to make movies featuring the original characters, they'd damn well better use the original actors. Ewan MacGregor is a huge exception to this rule, but despite his talent, his Obi-Wan was pretty boring. He did the best he could with what he was given, but man did he Britta every scene he was in. I like Aaron Paul... I don't think he's ever going to have much of a career outside of Breaking Bad, but I think he's a pretty cool guy. I'd be okay with him in a future Star Wars movie, but if their plan is really to make him a young Han Solo... screw that. Terrible. That said, I am totally willing to be a hypocrite and say that I would love to see that rumored Obi-Wan trilogy that bridges the gap between ROTS and ANH. I think a competent screenwriter and director could make that into a great series of movies.

Rian Johnson writing and directing... I'm absolutely thrilled they are just going to go back-to-back-to-back with this stuff. Not even ing around. Just making it happen. Also, I really was excited for Felicity Jones potentially being Black Cat in Spider-man. Dem lips doe. I'm cool with the spinoffs as long as they're actual contributions to the franchise and not just cash grabs. I think it's better to stay away from the world we know and explore the expanded U, so seemingly what they're doing. Maybe we can get some Dash Rendar in our lives at some point.

It sounds like it could be a Rogue Squadron film taking place sometime after Empire Strikes Back or Return of the Jedi with Felicity Jones replacing Luke and Wedge as the leader. I guess that throws out the bounty hunter rumor. Unless bounty hunters are taking on the Rebels. www.starwars.com/news/rogue-one-is-the-first-star-wars-stand-alone-film-rian-johnson-to-write-and-direct-star-wars-episode-viii"The idea for the story of Rogue One came from John Knoll, an Academy Award-winning visual effects supervisor and chief creative officer at Industrial Light & Magic." John Knoll worked on the Rogue Squadron video games. I think it's awesome if it is a Rogue Squadron movie.

Sure, but at this rate they're doing a movie a year. With all these spin offs, it's going to get way out of hand and lose momentum rather fast.

I'm sure people thought that about the Marvel Universe, ya knah? Hmm, I suppose. Though I personally feel that there are way too many comic book movies coming out right now for me to be interested in them all, I enjoy them (mostly) when I see them but I'm only really anticipating a handful.

Kathleen Kennedy and Co know what they are doing folks.......and IMO we have NO reason whatsoever to fear Disney. Also shouldn't we be seeing a proper trailer for Ep VII VERY soon?
