Thrawns Imps....figures right away Hasbro According to my subtitles they were called "Night troopers" so I assume they are fueled with the nightsisters magick? Hence the red bands on their outfits etc. |

With Ray Stephenson passing it could all be tricky I assume he would die trying to release/find/kill what was calling him there. But we'll see. Such a damn shame too because I find Baylan to be one of the more interesting characters Star Wars has produced since... I don't know, Attack of the Clones? I also love that his lightsaber is like a greatsword, rather than a saber. Just an absolute unit. |

There’s a lot I like in the show, some un-ironically. I feel like the last couple episodes have sucked the air out of the balloon a bit; almost like the build up to this other galaxy hasn’t yet been struck with much impact.
Not into the ease with which big strides in most stories are being taken, finding Ezra, whatever Thrawn is doing, reuniting with Ashoka, splitting the really cool duo of bad guys up. All happening very fast with little tension or drama but that goes in line with majority of D+ shows which is a shame that it’s consigned to the same identikit as all the others.
Shin & Baylan and Marroc was a cool threat they introduced but see how it plays out now. Not optimistic.

Can't think of a series that had more cliffhangers than this one. There's like what? 6 plot points left for season 2? Pretty good stuff. I ed hard with Morgan having Mother Talzin's blade, and the fight scene overall. Loved the fact that the villain 'won' and that we saw the statue of The Father and the Son I believe it was? I do wonder what they will do with Baylan. Will Shin go look for him and find his remains? Recasted? Difficult choice that. Season 2 can't come soon enough. |

The Statues of the Mortis Gods were a WHOA moment for me. Baylon is standing on the Fathers arm as it points to something. The New Rockstar's breakdown singled out a mountain range with an intermittent light that he was heading towards. Looks like this is a pivotal thing so he will likely be recast.

Finished Ep. 9 and again I really enjoyed it. Really need to re-watch 2 and 5, those two are just blurs for me.
