I'm not sure how many people are into this show, but I love Titans quite a bit. Under the Red Hood is one of my favorite stories ever, and I'm really glad how the show has evolved to this place. It's really rough working through the characters in Season 1, but it's full speed ahead now in Season 3. Crazy how they've sort of pulled all of it together to actually feel like MA Titans off the pages of the books. I'm such a massive mark for Nightwing. Seeing him come to life in particular has been a dream come true.

I always wished they would've used it for a Batman film mainly because it's one of his greatest failures which to me makes Red Hood one of his greatest villains. Nightwing is my all time favorite super hero so seeing him in live action is awesome. I'm a fan of the Bat Family in general so I'm excited we're finally getting Red Hood & Tim Drake Robin in live action too.

Was never able to watch Titans as I never had DC Universe. Went on a trip to South Korea 2 years ago and it was on their Netflix, so I was able to binge the first four episodes in downtime while there, but that was it until now. Been finishing the first season and I really love the show. Robin is one of my favorite superheroes, so the fact we get 2 of them on the same screen is awesome to me. I find Dick and Jason to be ripped completely from the pages, which is awesome. Starfire not being orange still bothers me, but as she learns more of her identity, I hope to see some evolution in her design (although I've seen the promo art for S3 and I see she's still not orange).
Either way, I'm excited to catch up.
Also, yesterday marked 1 year since The Batman trailer released. What a masterpiece of a trailer. Still get goosebumps watching it.

I'm gonna come with a wild take here. The Suicide Squad > The Dark Knight.

Speaking of TDK I recently rewatched the Bale trilogy with my Godson.
Batman Begins remains my favorite of the 3 by a fair shout. Lots & lots of stuff in here still makes me groan as a batfan.

The Batman trailer is excellent. Just watched that tonight actually.. genuinely looking forward to this.
Love that Reeves is retaining the physical Batman that Affleck brought in.

Not super excited about Flash, real question is who dressed Ezra Miller for that interview? Dude looks like a dark haired Elizabeth Shue with chest hair and a dog collar.
Black Adam has unbelievable potential. That teaser looked sick! DC is kind of building a rep for failing main heroes on the big screen, but the lower level guys have been getting some great flicks.
I guess I’m the only one not super excited about Batman. I have a feeling that movie is going to be a massive letdown for those hyping it so far. I’d love to be wrong but thats just the feeling I’m getting from watching the trailers.

I'm in the camp of Pattison's Batman not really impressing me. There are aspects of the movie that I'm liking, but he's not one of them. For me, is Batman doesn't come off as that symbol of fear, he's coming off as someone trying to present himself as that and falling flat. His 'Batman voice' doesn't impress me, and the look he has when the cowl is off looks horrible. Part of what helps make people not think Bruce Wayne is Batman is him playing up the playboy billionaire persona, yet when we see him in Bruce mode, he looks like the damn emo kid in school. I hated the Batmobile when I first saw it a while back, and I still hate it. It looks like it belongs more in Mad Max then Batman. It's kinda strange for me with Andy Serkis as Alfred, not because I don't think he can be could in the role, but simply because he kept his full beard. For me, when I picture Alfred I think either clean shaved, or the small mustache. It also still amazes me that Colin Farrell is Penguin, because I still don't see him in there, when he's on screen, it's pretty impressive.

Just watched The Flash trailer. Keaton's inclusion excites me but Im seriously struggling with Miller as Barry Allen.
I've disliked his casting since day 1 & Snyder's Cut of JL did sweet fa to change that. A real wait & see situation for me because I love the character.

We’ve only seen 2 trailers but not super psyched for The Batman. The writing of the movies he was in had issues, but Ben Affleck to me was perfect. Intimidating stature, great costume, and knocked the “playboy billionaire” persona out of the park. I felt he’s been the best mixture of both Bruce Wayne and Batman (since you really are playing two characters when taking this role). Pattinson to me just comes off as some angry emo kid next door based on what we’ve seen and his interviews. Could change after seeing the film but he just doesn’t scream Bruce Wayne or Batman to me.
I also think the character designs are lame and lazy. I get it, they want to go back to the bland, realistic take from the Nolan films. But atleast Nolan let Bale have a costume that resembled Batman. Pattinson’s suit looks like he’s wearing hockey pads. Not a fan of the cape-collar either (it’s taking inspiration from the “White Knight” comic but I didn’t like it there either).
Riddler looks like they put a trash bag over his head. Penguin looks and sounds like a random mobster from NJ. Catwoman would be ok if they just gave her goggles like her more modern versions have worn in the comics, but nah, just make it look like she’s wearing a ski mask. And not a fan of the suped-up muscle car being the Batmobile. Yes, it takes inspiration from a few comics, but to me it literally looks like it’s out of a F&F movie. No way Batman is waging a one-man war against crime in Gotham in that thing.
And anyone else annoyed by the scene in the trailer where he’s just soaking machine gun bullets? IDC what he’s wearing, Batman would be dead soaking so much ammo like that (which also begs why not shoot him in the face if he’s that close to a machine gun, and why isn’t Batman trying to be more stealthy).
Excited for The Flash. Always been a Keaton fan, so excited to see his return. Also hoping if rumors are true that Batfleck gets a nice send off if this is truely his last appearance as Batman.

I'm particularly excited for the League of Superpets movie and hope that leads to them having more spotlight in the future. Also, and I know it's a long shot, but I hope it inspires Marvel to do Pet Avengers.

I enjoyed the first two seasons of Titans quite a bit, but how they portrayed the Batman/Bruce character this season is unforgivable. As far as the Batman film goes I do not see Rob Pattinson making a believable Bruce Wayne. He looks passable in the Bat-Suit. It might be the first Batman film I don’t see in the theater. If I do it won’t be opening day or even opening week.

So I bought Justice League The Zack Snyder Cut on Blu-Ray for $10 at Walmart during one of their event days. After watching it, I was blown away by just about everything. Tom Holkenberg's score was amazing. He scrapped his original score that he originally wrote for Justice League and rescored the whole film from scratch. It's one of the longest film scores in history. Being presented in a 4:3 aspect ratio was a bit different. Usually superhero movies are in a 2.35:1 or 2.40:1 aspect Ratio. Seeing Joss Whedon's cut being in a non scope aspect ratio didn't seem right to me. I kind of knew something wasn't right with the Whedon cut. I liked hearing the F-Bomb being dropped several times in the movie. Snyder's cut was the way it was intended for. Seeing Superman wearing a black suit was great. His suit reminded me of the nightmare sequence suit from Man of Steel. It kept me on the edge of my seat.

Whats with Batman using a gun... in the Znyders Justice movie he used the guns over his batarang.
Whats with mother boxes being hidden in facilities that had openings for anybody to climb or swim threw. Very lazy way to hide something that's suppose to be so powerful.
Darkseid getting his assed kick in the past doesn't make him look any stronger or threatening to go against the Justice League in the present.

It's kind of assumed their movies don't connect to any of their other properties unless stated otherwise. I didn't think there was any confusion over that.

eh...its just hard for me to get excited about DC stuff any more. I still firmly feel they need to step back, take some time for a plan and re-cast & reboot this Universe even though some of the casting is very good.
