Anyone else notice in the previews for next week there is about a 2 second zoom in on a figure that looks VERY MUCH like The Scarecrow. Will Scarecrow be bringing his toxins to The Glades? Also the extended trailer for next week reveals that Oliver will find out the true identity of Black Canary.

I doubt that Scarecrow will appear to be honest, will likely just be a lesser teir or created villain similar. Though I haven't seen the preview myself, I purposely avoid the next week on previews for all of my shows, I like to be surprised sometimes, and if there are any returning special guest stars or anything those previews always give them all away.

Honestly, I'm surprised WB/DC allowed them to use Ra's Al Guhl. I know how over protective they are of the Batman properties. Though, he may not appear and just be mentioned by name. There are plenty of League of Assassins members they can use though.

just watched the first two episodes and yeah its been so far so good!!
WB/DCs cross licencing problemns are legendary BUT they seem to be getting over it with this show.likely any 2nd tier villainy they have zero plans of using again in movies(Ras)could be fair game to show here.

Or perhaps the Nolans got together and were able to work something out with DC to make it happen.

Not to the extent of say Joker or Two Face, but much more than the likes of Firefly and Deadshot, two villains that they have easily been able to integrate into the show. The League of Assassins is interesting enough in itself though, so they will have plenty to work with if they can't actually use Ra's.

Ras Al Ghul is 100% considered a Batman property.the producers of The Batman were very irritated back in the day when they were not allowed to use him because of Nolans 1st movie. I feel the only reason he is getting used on Arrow is because they have no plans for him in live action.ditto for Huntress and probably Canary.

But Canary IS a Green Arrow property. So dont see how that would have any affect by the Batman property.

Another fantastic episode tonight. I was initially against having Sara being Black Canary but I think it's actually quite excellent, it makes things interesting and adds a lot to each character. Having her on the island flashbacks is also cool. Seeing Arrow and Canary fighting together was fantastic, and I hope it becomes a more frequent thing, even if not all the time, at least every couple episodes. I don't think Queen will be introducing her to Diggle and Felicity anytime soon, whether its because he doesn't offer, or because she refuses, but I hope by the mid point of the season that she's working with them at least a little, would be nice to see more of a team starting to brew there.
And when Oliver used her staff and she used his bow, I fanboyed out a little.

And when Oliver used her staff and she used his bow, I fanboyed out a little. The Oliver/island story just took a sharp left! So Oliver knew Sara was alive the entire time and just let Laurel and Det. Lance think she died on the boat?! WHY!??!!? I cant wait to learn more about this. As far as Sara being Canary....I'm cool with, but I am hoping this leads to her death and the reason that Laurel takes the mantle. I dont really want a team developing per say. I'm already not on board with Red Arrow coming in. If Roy stares just an informant for Oliver...fine. But if he goes full Red Arrow, I feel the show might jump the shark. This Green Arrow is darker and more brooding. Adding a sidekick is not a good play. Oliver has role players right now. Diggle and Felicity help here and there or work behind the scenes. Keep it that way. He will pair up here and there with Canary, Huntress or whomever...fine. But he should never be "hooding up" with others. Also, we now know that it isnt Scarecrow....but Brother Blood that is in Starling City. The Alderman has been revealed. Loved it! Ah gotcha. All new Arrow tonight! WOO!!! its Monday nights for me.......but yeah its becoming a weekly highlight.I watch Arrow & Agents of SHIELD in a double bill every week. Ah. Gotta be hard for spoilers? Or are you seeing it 2 days in advance of the States?

I actually wouldn't mind Harper becoming Red Arrow. Just not this season. If h gets a little more physically involved during the second half of the season, I'm ok with it. If he becomes full sidekick though, I think sometime during season 3 would be the best time for that.

Loved the new episode! I'm alright with it being Sarah. I like how she mentioned Slade too.
Also, did anyone catch the Channel 52 news report mentioning protests over a particle accelerator currently under construction in the city?
Uggghhhh I love the subtle nods they throw in.

Barry Allen will be in episodes 8 and 9 of the season, confirmed already so it likely will be touched on.

I just love that they're mentioning little things like that so comic fans could pick up on it. It's smart writing.

Subtle nuiances, eventhough a lot of the comic stories have had to be altered for tv.
