Guys- i'm really fed up. Every time I try to paint rubber- Abyss' TNA jacket, Jakks cowboy hats, no matter what paint I use, it never dries. How can i get it to dry? Is there anything you can apply before hand? I have tried primer and that doesn't dry. Please help! many thanks

I painted the rubber jacket that came with RA42 HBK fine earlier tonight using a hair dryer.

I use enamel, acrylic- and every paint brand imaginable. I may have cured it by soaking the greasy rubber surface in white spirit- turpentine substitute- for a day!! I am waiting to see if the paint dries now!!

Try doing a white wash over it first to have something between the hat and the color you want to paint it.

Yo. I bought some testors model master acrylic and was wondering if I'd be able to mix colors, like red and yellow to make orange or blue and red to make purple? Thanks

yes you can ^^
I mixed white and blue to get a nice sky blue. It's fun to mix silver with other colors as well.

What paint to use and where to get it? (UK) How to paint it... Would that paint need sealer? Is their a video or step by step guide to painting figures?

hey everyone. I dont really do customs or touch ups often, but recently got a Mattel tommy dreamer figure. He has a paint chip on his neck revealing black underneath. I can tell its something a simple paint touch up could completly fix and make un noticeable. So i was wondering what is the best matching paint color for Mattel figures skin, and what is the best style paint to do touch ups with. Really appreciate any help. thanks

Is their a video or step by step guide to painting figures? Thank you. I use citadel paints from Games Workshop, because they are acrylic and the best us uk'ers can get from any shops. they are about £2.20 per bottle and are about an inch + 1/2 tall yes they would need paint sealer, and whatever you do - don't get citadel's gloss varnish (gloss 'ardcoat), as this would make your figures too shiny, sticky and it doesnt seal the paint well in joints what you want is Acrylic matt varnish/sealer so far I can't find any good ones from any model shops so even I dont know which is the best the only thing I can think of doing is finding out what these yanks on here use, and trying to find them on EBAY LINK NOT ALLOWED.uk or EBAY LINK NOT ALLOWED the best tip i can give you is to thin the paints with water, to prevent the paint coming off too easily THE GOLDEN RULE - 2 DROPS WATER PER DROP OF PAINT

This is a great site for learning the tricks of the trade they literally have just about anything you can think of BUT although they are more directed to marvel legends, and DC superheroes, their advice is still relevant and useful to wrestling figures check it out www.figurerealm.com/customtutorial.php
