what colour is the best for dolphs hair yellow or white or get both and mix? There's a color called Lemonade that I think would look great. Maybe add a touch of white to it, to make it more platinum blonde but I think that's your best bet. i dont use paints i use sharpie If this isn't a troll, you're going to regret that in a month or so when the sharpie fades and it ends up looking purple, rather than black.

DecoArt Medium Flesh is a pretty good base. Just add different kinds of whites, yellows, browns to fix it up.

Not every sealer. But some of them. But you cant paint it unaccuratly and try to makeit good looking with sealer. If you want Smooth looking Paint. Paint it so often till the painting is really good. Then take the color and put your brush into the water glass, mix it till it has the consitent of milk. Paint once again over your painting and it will be a better result. Then Seal it and if you're good.It will look like classicDA's or TheAxeHennig's Painting ;D

You should really thin it out with some water, if that's the case. Sounds like the paint is too chunky.

Is there a special paint or tool that should be used for a figure's chest hair? I would like to add some hair to a CM Punk, but I am not sure how to go about doing it. Sorry if this is the wrong place, but I don't know if I need a certain paint or not.

A lot of people use pencil.

Very cool. I like how it looks, but is it safe to seal, or will the graphite simply be rubbed off? I'd like it to still be playable even with the hair and not have to touch it up all the time. Thanks for the quick reply!

I've sealed pencil a few times, if you do it very slowly and carefully, I don't think it will smudge. It might depend on the brand on pencil you use as well.

Would sealed paint come off if I place a fig in hot water? I'm trying to keep playability, so I want to take a fig apart n paint the pieces individually before reassembling.

^^^Use a hairdryer to heat it instead, less risky.
Besides sanding, is there any way to keep the paint in the joints of a figure from coming off?

Hey. I have trouble trying to paint a white base so I can paint over it. Any tips? I've heard some people just use white spray paint to coat everything up. I tried that route and personally didn't care for it at all. It bubbled up all over the place, and just looked bad when it all dried. Could be that I used a bad brand of spray paint, but I don't know. These days I just use a gray, spray on automobile primer. Goes on neatly for me, and I just enjoy working with the stuff. Not sure if that's exactly what Rome uses, but it appears to be somewhat similar. And you could use it to do small areas (I've done it before), but it just takes some patience to cover off the rest of the figure. Neatly line up some tape around the legs, and then wrap a napkin around the upper half (again, use the tape to keep it in place around the waist). Should work fine.

I'd just use Testors Acryl grey or white primer. Wait about 15-30 mins or so for it to dry up and your good to go. I really dont trust any other paint for customs other than Testors Model Master Acryl.
