Going to the home opener for Detroit friday. And like mentioned in the other thread, I got the next two days off specifically so I can get my hockey fix

Good stuff. I'm just anxious to see how the Pens do this season, since the longer the timeframe gets, the more it seems like Crosby will not be returning this season...and they finished well last season without him, but considering the Pens were systematically and absolutely demolishing everyone before he got hurt and made the playoffs pretty much only because of the first half success...we'll see.

I'm predicting Boston, Toronto and Pittsburgh wins tomorrow
I'm looking forward to December to see the Oilers/Hurricanes game... it'll be only the second Oilers game I've seen since Junior High -_-

Really excited for the NHL season this year. I have high hopes for my Blues, but we all know they tend to disappoint.

 Holy crap, playing the role of spoiler on opening night again. I still can't believe Giroux was able to beat Chara and Thomas at once. Not to mention Byrz looked sharp out there too. |

Hey, Philly's moves this off-season were gutsy, but they were pretty solid for the most part. I wasn't surprised to see that they won today.

I kinda was, but it was nice to see a philly win... sorry fattic  Hopefully the Canucks can start to rebound and play much better in the third, I think the Pens have controlled the majority of he play so far. |
