Notice the people bashing Ross are a bunch of ing losers who could only DREAM about being half as successful as him. Quite sad, really. All talk... All talk and what? I don't quite understand. Ross was good at one point in time, but he has been terrible for the better part of 10-15 years and there's no denying that. And I'm not sure how you view your life aspirations, but I for one don't dream of becoming a fat, immature, washed up guy like Ross is now.

Good, go ahead and quit. That way, Joey Styles could get the commentating position that he rightfully deserves...you know, the one JR stole from him. What a ridiculous statement. JR was around for YEARS before Joey Styles even considered going to WWE. How did JR steal his spot? It's JR's spot, not Joey Styles'.....

No, just no man. You can't compare sex to wrestling. Actually, if you weren't a teenaged kid waiving his arm in his avatar at an ECW taping, you'd understand just how appropriate my analogy was. My avatar has what to do with my knowledge?

King and JR were together for ever. It sucks that they split them up.

what an ass. He acts like SD is Sunday Night Heat. It IS[/u] that bad. There is never a surprise on SD!. Nothing worth noting has happened on that show in years, literally. What was the last big deal that happened on SD!? What was the last thing that happened on SD! that affected the company as a whole? Raw gets the draft, it features the company's chairman and founder and now it has the company's most marketable stars (arguably) with Cena, Mysterio and Punk. SD! and ECW are both wastes of time because nothing important has happened on those shows in years.

Why doesn't he just grow some damn balls, suck the crap up, and go with the ing flow? Holy , I can't believe he's whining like a ing baby. Besides, Triple H will be with him so he won't be lost...

Honestly, if I were JR, I would want to call the SD! matches like I was Steven Wright on prozac. That won't happen though, because I imagine that he'll enjoy working with Foley if nothing else.

Has it ever occured to anyone that this could be a work? When doing commentary with JR, Mick Foley also said that he always wanted to do play-byplay with JR, but on RAW.

He's an outstanding announcer and one of the best in the business, but if he thinks in any way he's too 'big' for SmackDown, he's a fool. Where the did this 'houlier than thou' attitude come from?

Well on the plus side he'll be on smackdown so he won't be gone for good as i still like him, he's not as good as he once was but better than cole.
I don't like cole and although i've only heard him in WWE announcing i would prefer to have joey back on RAW.

he's a fag, but i kinda see where he is coming from.
i cant complain about him because i know id be pissed off if i lost my position and got put on the B show (and dont mistake it for anything but a B show) but on the other hand, why the hell should noone else be able to do it either? it's really selfish and pathetic of him to complain on air and online. the way they handled was totally disrespectful to him.
if he wasnt such a crapty commentator these day this wouldnt have happened.

They'd rather put all their eggs in one basket (RAW) and just get by on the other shows. All the shows should be equal, it'd make for a more successful and entertaining product.. but since RAW is the flagship show it has to be the only show that matters. How is that good for business, or the company for that matter. JR is one of the top employees of the company, you think he'd be more professional about this. I don't blame him for being upset.. he's been the face of RAW for a long time now.. but cry, and get over it and go do your job. I didn't hear Styles crying when he was demoted for Mike Ademle

Sounds like Good Ol JR is being a Big Ol Baby. Why not just appreciate that you get to do your dream job, a job that any number of people would do for free?
Quitting because you are being a baby is dumb, he would regret that by Thursday, and then beg to come back again.
Look at it as a chance to improve a brand, not as a demotion. It's the same job he had before, he is still the Voice Of a brand.

I love how everyone is calling his move to SmackDown a demotion when this guy used to be the VP of talent. Last I checked, he was a commentator on RAW and he will be a commentator on SmackDown. His position didn't change, just the night of the week he works on. Also, I'm sure he is still getting paid the same. Many of you people on here give me the impression that you have never held a job within a major corporation before because you think that somehow JR is above all else and deserves some kind of special treatment. He doesn't. I've been working for UPS going on 7 years now. Changes that effect us directly happen on nearly a daily basis and 99 out of 100 times we know nothing about until it happens. The funny thing about all this is that JR has pretty much held the same position on RAW for roughly fifteen years, rarely ever giving up his spot. If he was a wrestler on the active roster, people here would be bitching that up and commers were held back because of him. Due to his status as the "best" commentator in WWE (highly debateable), WWE felt that his presence could help give Smackdown credibilty and bring it up to RAW's level. At the end of the day, WWE is a corporation and Jim Ross is nothing more than one of it's employees. Like it or not, they don't have to tell him anything. That is life in the corporate world and Good Ol' JR is old enough to know this.

I honestly don't care. I may not know all the facts, but I've lost some respect for JR. It's his job, first of all. Quitting shouldn't have even crossed his mind Monday night, as there are so many depending on him. When JR left, WWE got Joey Styles as a replacement -- a really good replacement. He doesn't get moves mixed up, he marks appropriately, and he shows excitement, making the show better overall for the fans watching at home. I haven't heard JR have an orgasm since Cena returning at the Rumble. He no-sold Jericho's return in November of last year. He's ungrateful, if you ask me. Foley flat out said to him on the air that it was an honor to work with him, and quite frankly, I'm happy to see them as a team. It's fresh. They're two good personalities. What they SHOULD have done is drafted Adamle to the unemployment line, or to some position backstage or in the office, and placed Styles back on ECW where he belongs.
No one saw Joey Styles complaining about being "demoted" to WWE.com. He beats any commentator in the WWE right now hands down.
