in' hell, J.R. It's a way to freshen up shows and shock the world, and that's what this has done. If J.R. really did love his job he'd call wrestling wherever it may be. It's the same company, J.R., and the fact that it's taped might allow you to sound like you have a clue. Stick to dancing, King of Boogey (you're awesome if you get this reference).

While they're at it, why don't they bring back The Rock to SmackDown so J.R. can monotonely say "... there he is ladies and gentlemen" like he did with Jericho?
I have no real beef with Ross, but he got pretty stale and un-exciting. His reaction to Jericho returning still bugs me.

My sincere thanks to all of you who have supported me on RAW over the years. I hope I was able to provide you a memory or two. Hopefully, we can create new memories now on Smackdown.
Based on my professional experiences, I look at each broadcast as potentially my last, which helps keep me motivated. So with that said we begin another chapter in my crazy life in the unpredictable world of ?rasslin.
I still plan on attending RAW in my home market of OKC next Monday and I hear that tickets are still available. Any one have any extras?

JR reminds me a lot of a middle-aged mother having mood swings... when he's not happy, or has the slightest unhappiness he lets everybody know and puts on a very lackluster performance.

Let the fat bastard quit. He's acting like a baby just because he has to go to Smackdown.

If HHH can go to SD, JR can go.

I don't know where J.R. gets this reputation as the best in the business. He hasn't been good for a long time. He just repeats his catchphrases and calls everything a modified slam. The part where he says he won't do post production for SmackDown is funny. So what that says to me is he doesn't want to go back and correct his mistakes in his commentary.

JR isn't that good of a commentator. It's the same thing every week.

Some people on this board are on drugs!
How can anyone compare JR's lack of passion now compared to his announcing style during the Attitude Era? Back then the product was well written and surprising. The product hasn't been that good in almost a decade and it shows in the ratings because millions of fans have left. Give JR something GOOD to call and I am sure he will come alive again.
What was he supposed to infuse passion into? A storyline where a Leprechaun was the boss' bastard son for the past year? A family portrait? A 65 year old man winning the ECW title off a guy who would kill him in real life? Mayweather beating a returning Giant? HHH as champion for the billionth time and killing any momentum of anyone new?
Give me a break!
To blame JR for having no enthusiasm for an unenthusiastic product is like blaming a woman for not having an orgasm because of her boyfriend's 3 inch pecker!
Blame the problem, not the person who gets the problem dumped into their laps!

All you people that think that its not a step down to go to smackdown are idiots. Smackdown is a D rate show. I would be surprised if HHH goes there and after a week or two tells vince he wants to go back to raw because its so bad, thats if he even ends up on smackdown. And as far as everyone thinking that nobody knew they were getting drafted, i think everyone that was drafted knew they were gonna get drafted except for JR.

Yeah. I was so disappointed they ****** with Cole and JR. They were perfectally fine where they were. JR has been there for years, and Michael Cole has called what? 518 of the 520 SmackDown's. Pretty dang good in my opinion. WWE had no reason to mess that up. I completely agree with JR.

Notice the people bashing Ross are a bunch of ing losers who could only DREAM about being half as successful as him. Quite sad, really. All talk... I think the sad part really is, Is that no matter how you look at it or which one is your favorite Smackdown IS and ALWAYS will be the B-show. Raw is the longest running show in primetime, has a TOP cable network. Smackdown is on lower rated cable station and going down even farther. Anyone who is pissed about JRs reaction to being demoted is an idiot. Its like being a top chef @ a high class restaurant and then being demoted to fry cook at McDonalds. Sure you're doing the same job but you're doing it in a much lower form
