.. "The Man" now?
because To Be The Man, You Gotta Beat The Man, and HBK did just that, with ending his career.
I think so. And I think shawn should start using this phrase now.

Tons of guys have beaten Flair. So there are tons of "Men".

Tons of guys have beaten Flair. So there are tons of "Men". But no other "man" has taken the dog behind the wood shed and put an end to it's misery.

I wouldn't mind HBK taking over in a Flair-like thing. Where he wrestles pretty much for ever!

Shawn Michaels has been the man since AT LEAST 1995. He is the best overall wrestler in the history of professional wrestling, end of story.

If he says he is the man, he will get too much heel heat.

WWE is Shawn Michaels' house, Flair can't just come walking in after WCW Nitro folded, and get all the attention and praises. That's the problem with fans, they'd rather support overrated and popular guys like Rock, Cena, Hogan, Austin, and Flair, but they never give the guys like HBK and Taker the respect that they deserve. These are the true heroes of the WWE. They stuck with this company through thick and thin for years but never get praises. Taker and HBK are the backbone of the WWE, they held this company together for over 20 years so don't give me that "Flair is the greatest" crap.

Shawn's been the man for a while now. My opinon, he surpased Flair after he won the WHC. Flair and HBK flip a coin to whos the greatest, then it's a big dip for third.
