2-5-2003 - Styles/Sydal would tear the house down. They have had some great matches. - Glad to see Douglas beating Guerrero. Tylene/Douglas pairing is something I did, so I like it. - Excellent to see Matthews/York winning the titles. - Jarrett had to win, really. Steiner was starting to look kind of weak.
2-12-2003 - 3 Count in TNA? HA.. that’s awesome. - Douglas with a great heel promo. - Good first title defense for the new champions. - Steiner needed that squash and aftermath to look like a beast. - Masked man thing is interesting.

April Hunter was backstage with Mike Sanders who was adjusting his tie. Hunter asked Sanders about the new owner to which Sanders told her he doesn't have the slightest clue who the new owner is and the masked man is really getting to him now as he doesn't know what match he's going to ruin next. Sanders ordered Ricky Steamboat to go and recruit security to guard the entrance to the arena and make sure the masked man doesn't get in. Mike went on to announce that next week twenty men will fight it out with the winner getting a shot at Jeff Jarrett's NWA World Heavyweight Championship.
Mick Foley and Mike Tenay welcome us to the broadcast. They talk about Jeff Jarrett beating AJ Styles to retain the NWA World Heavyweight Championship last week and then the Masked Man making an appearance at the end of the show. They then hype Scott Steiner envoking his rematch clause for the NWA World Heavyweight Title against Jeff Jarrett tonight!
Evan Karagias and Shannon Moore made their way down to the ring to a mixed reaction from the crowd. The duo got into the ring and began to sing along to their theme song. The crowd booed them heavily before Jay Briscoe and Mark Briscoe's music cut them off.
Evan Karagias and Shannon Moore defeated Jay Briscoe and Mark Briscoe. Karagias and Moore picked up their second win since arriving here in NWA:TNA as they beat the rookie duo that is The Briscoe Brothers. Both teams put on an exciting tag team contest, but Moore was able to put Jay away with the Bottom's Up from the top rope.
Yang and Kaz Hayashi where shown backstage with their valet Gail Kim. Gail was talking to them about the master not being pleased with their losses as of late. Gail says tonight she's going to beat Alexis Laree and Daizee Haze and give back the master some confidence in them. Gail leaves the room as Yang and Hayashi bow their heads.
Alexis Laree defeated Gail Kim and Daizee Haze. Surprisingly the crowd just ate this one up. I mean it's three hot ladies locking up. What's not to enjoy? All three girls got to hit their respective finishing moves but it was Alexis leaving victorious after she pinned Gail following a Jumping Tornado DDT. Afterwards, Gail Kim was left in disbelief as we cut to backstage to April Hunter.
April Hunter interviewed Scott Steiner backstage about his NWA World Heavyweight Title shot tonight. Steiner said that he's going to rip through Jeff Jarrett and claim back his NWA World Heavyweight Title before demolishing the winner of the battle royal next week.
Christian York and Joey Matthews defeated Sonny Siaki and OG Ekmo (w/ Desire) to retain the NWA World Tag Team Championships. York and Matthews had a tough team ahead of them tonight in OG Ekmo and Sonny Siaki, but the champions showed that they are more than capable of overcoming a challenge by besting the Samoan duo. Ekmo dominated whenever he was in the ring, and Siaki was overly confident as he just toyed around with York and Matthews. York pinned Siaki after a huge Frog Splash.
April Hunter was backstage with AJ Styles who did not look pleased in the slightest. Styles said that last week he was cheated out of winning the NWA World Heavyweight Title and nothing was done about it. AJ said that he wants another shot at the title and he better get it. AJ then said that to prove he is deserving of a title shot he issuing an open challenge to anyone in the back. AJ said that he'll even put his NWA:TNA X-Division Title on the line.
AJ Styles defeated Jushin "Thunder" Liger to retain the NWA:TNA X-Division Championship. Jushin "Thunder" Liger accepted AJ's challenge and these two put on quite easily the match of the night. Liger gave AJ the rub out there by putting him over in a truly spectacular contest. AJ was able to get the victory after raking Liger's eyes when Liger set him up for the Liger Bomb and then hitting the Styles Clash. To add insult, AJ grabbed a handful of Liger's tights to secure the three.
Jeff Jarrett and Scott Steiner were both shown leaving their respective lockers. The two make their way down the corridor as Mick Foley hypes our main event.
Jeff Jarrett defeated Scott Steiner (w/ Midajah) to retain the NWA World Heavyweight Championship. These two have had some good encounters in the past and this was no different. Steiner is easily the most over worker in TNA right now and each week he seems to get more and more heat. At one point during the match the referee took a bump and the masked man came running down the ramp and it looked like he was going for Steiner with a steel chair but he attacked Jarrett instead. Steiner and the masked man put the boots to Jarrett before the masked man unveiled to be Rick Steiner!! Suddenly the real masked man comes running down the ramp and sends Rick Steiner out of the ring before Scott Steiner breaks his Steiner Recleiner hold and moves towards the masked man. The masked man leaves the ring quickly and Scott Steiner shouts at him. Scott turns around and walks into a guitar shot from Jarrett. Steiner drops to his knees and Jarrett hits The Stroke for the victory.

Surprised you aren't doing JJ/Steiner immediatly again. Okay nevermind, looks like it'll happen tonight. 3 Count winning is fine. Decent women's match there. Heh, funny to see Umaga in this type of match. AJ/Liger sounds great, helps AJ gets over. Although the match could have maybe been hyped up. Interesting main event to say the least. I got really let down when I saw Rick was the masked man, but then got my spirits better when I saw it wasn't actually him. Really wonder who it will be.

The opening video plays and then a few fireworks erupt at the top of the stage. Mick Foley and Mike Tenay are our commentators for the show. They hype tonights main event which is a 20 man battle royal with the winner getting a NWA World Heavyweight Title shot against Jeff Jarrett.
Evan Karagias and Shannon Moore defeated Matt Sydal and Delirious (w/ Daizee Haze) and Yang and Kaz Hayashi (w/ Gail Kim). Three of the best tag teams in NWA:TNA took to the ring for a fun three way tag team match. During the match the lights went out and when they came back up, Gail Kim wasn't at ringside. Yang and Hayashi looked confused around ringside before Karagias took Kaz out and Moore hit the Bottom's Up onto Yang for the victory.
April Hunter was shown backstage with Buff Bagwell, who is making his debut tonight. Buff says he was contacted by Mike Sanders to compete in tonights battle royal.
AJ Styles defeated Rey Misterio, Jr. to retain the NWA:TNA X-Division Championship. If you wanted a truly outstanding contest, then this match was it. These two got given around 11 minutes out there and they put on a fantastic contest. Rey, Jr. looked to have won the X-Division Title with a Springboard Senton, but AJ was able to get his foot on the bottom rope. AJ pinned Rey, Jr. after hitting the Styles Clash. Afterwards, AJ screamed into the camera that he was coming for Jeff Jarrett's NWA World Heavyweight Title after winning tonights battle royal.
April Hunter was in Mike Sanders office. Sanders told Hunter that in tonights 15 man battle royal there will be 4 new superstars debuting. Sanders said that Buff Bagwell is one of them but he won't reveal the others.
Christian York, Joey Matthews and Alexis Laree defeated Don Harris, Ron Harris and Traci Brooks. This one was surprisingly a good little contest. York, Matthews and Laree continue to grow in popularity with the crowd each week. Traci Brooks has nice tits. Matthews hit Don with the Virginia Necktie and made the cover. Brooks tried to break the count up, but Laree tackled her to the matt and Matthews got the three count.
Mick Foley and Mike Tenay recap the past few weeks were the mysterious masked man has made appearances and helped Jeff Jarrett to win his matches.
Jeff Jarrett made his way down to the ring with his NWA World Heavyweight Title slung over his shoulder. Jarrett joined Tenay and Foley at the announcers booth as we prepare for the main event.
Shane Douglas won a 15 man battle royal. (Participants included: D'Lo Brown, Scott Steiner, Rick Steiner, Dustin Rhodes, Buff Bagwell, Ken Shamrock, Shane Douglas, Eddie Guerrero, Jushin "Thunder" Liger, Ron Killings, Scott Hall, AJ Styles, Chavo Guerrero, Jr., BG James and Konnan.) This match was tolerable at best. Scott Steiner made the most eliminations tonight as he eliminated seven men. Chavo Guerrero, Jr. eliminated Eddie Guerrero when Eddie eliminated Konnan. Chavo eliminated AJ Styles later on. The final five were D'Lo Brown, Scott Steiner, Dustin Rhodes, Shane Douglas and Buff Bagwell. Shane Douglas eliminated Bagwell. Dustin Rhodes eliminated Rick Steiner. Scott Steiner and Dustin Rhodes were eliminated at the same time by D'Lo and Shane Douglas. Because we were down to the final two men, the way to win was via pinfall. Both men, although they where exhausted, put on a good match. Douglas pinned Brown after the Pittsburgh Plunge. All in all the battle royal saw four men debut. The four were Dustin Rhodes, Buff Bagwell, D'Lo Brown and BG James.

Ok tag match to open the show. Wow, AJ/Rey is a huge match. Not sure how I feel about it randomly happening. On one end AJ is being built up so well, but I think he could have had a good feud with Rey. Fine six-person tag match there. Glad you are using Traci Brooks. Made sense for Scott to have the most eliminations. Good call having Douglas win, Douglas/JJ sounds like it'll be good.
