-I can see the Briscoes being full time now and that's great -Ki winning was great, love that Romeo got a shot to show off -Styles/Ki will be godly next week -Douglas & Shamrock seem like a weird team but interesting stuff -Love Douglas calling Eddie a rookie -Good that the Tag Champs retained, but I still don't like them as champions -Glad Kash & Trinity won and good that the fans enjoyed this -Great swerve with the Steiners joining forces
Another great show, can't wait to see where u go from here

Nice to see that the Briscoes are being used as part of the regular roster, hopefully they start getting some wins. I liked how Kid Romeo's arrogance led to the loss, but Ki should have been given the definitive win to build to his title defence against Styles. I liked the Douglas/ Shamrock attack on Eddie. Nice tag match, it'll be interesting to see who eventually takes the tag titles from Konnan and Misterio. I wasn't thrilled with the intergender tag team match. Nice ending to the world title match, and I'm really hoping that this means a new challenger will step up for the title.

Yeah Briscoes hopefully they stay, the Japan team should be champs, rather Ki/Skipper, AJ better win the title, tag match sounds good wonder who? glad Rey and Konnan retain alsthough they need to lose to a real team, Kash n Trinity all the way like I said before a title match for him but deffo not win, sad to see sloppy Stiener retain, hopfully you have a good challenger for Steiner to dethown him as champ, whatever happened to the New Church and those Raven posters? glad Konnan is in the dog house title loss soon, keep this up!

Weird to see this unstickied for now. Cool to get into 2003. Interesting to bring in the Briscoes. Ki winning was the right call. Really liking the Eddie/Shamrock/Douglas stuff. Eddie just needs someone on his side for the moment. Pretty good tag team title match. Glad Traci is in, but oh well that she didn't win. Saw the Rick heel turn to some extent. Still fine though, as it keeps the belt on Scott and doesn't really hurt JJ. Solid show.

January 8 2003 - NASHVILLE, TENNESSEE Mick Foley and Mike Tenay welcome us to NWA:TNA's thirtieth pay-per-view, live from Nashville, Tennessee. The camera focuses on the stage where we see pyro going off and the cage dancers dancing. Foley and Tenay recap Rick Steiner turning on Jeff Jarrett and aligning with his younger brother, the NWA World Heavyweight Champion Scott Steiner. The music of Jeff Jarrett hits and he comes down to the ring, not looking pleased in the slightest. Jarrett calls Rick and Scott Steiner out to the ring and after a few seconds the duo come out from the back with huge grins across their faces and Scott's title belt around his waist. Rick Steiner says that Jeff Jarrett is an idiot if he thought he would align with him over his brother. The pair argue with each other before Mike Sanders comes out to alot of heat. Sanders books Jeff Jarrett vs. Rick Steiner for tonight before heading off to the back as both Steiner's discuss something. April Hunter was backstage with Christian York, Joey Matthews and Alexis Laree. York and Matthews claimed that next week they will put an end to their rivalry with Yang and Kaz Hayashi and it will be for a tag title shot against Rey Misterio, Jr. and Konnan. Christian York and Joey Matthews (w/ Alexis Laree) defeated. Matt Sydal and Delirious (w/ Daizee Haze). Sydal, Delirious and Haze made their NWA:TNA debuts here tonight. Sydal and Delirious put on a fantastic match with York and Matthews but York and Matthews have been on a roll as of late and it was expected of York and Matthews to win here tonight. Sydal went for a Shooting Star Press but Matthews got out of harms way and the match went downhill for Sydal and Delirious following that. Eventually Matthews hit Sydal with the Virginia Neck Tie for the pin. We see Tylene Buck backstage when Shane Douglas approaches her with a grin. Buck looks disgusted before turning away from Douglas and attempting to walk off but she walks straight into Ken Shamrock. Douglas spins Buck around and asks her how her boyfriend is. Buck ignores Douglas. Douglas then tells Buck that next week he'll return fresh and ready for his match only to be put back in hospital by The Worlds Most Dangerous Man and The Franchise. Jerry Lynn defeated. TAKA Michinoku. This was a filler match, but it was a damn good filler match. TAKA played the heel while Lynn was the face. Both men exchanged momentum during the entire contest but Lynn was able to put Michinoku away with the Cradle Piledriver. April Hunter interviewed "The Phenomenal" AJ Styles backstage ahead of his main event match against Low-Ki. AJ said that he's had to work his ass off day in day out to get where he is right now and he isn't going to let the oppurtunity of beating Low-Ki slip through his fingers. Styles promised to leave tonight the third NWA:TNA X-Division Champion. Ken Shamrock and Shane Douglas defeated. Jushin "Thunder" Liger and Ultimo Dragon. It really does suck that Liger and Dragon are doing nothing more than putting others over, but whether they are putting others over or winning they always put 110% into their matches and tonight was no different. Ken Shamrock was on a mission out there and it was to hurt someone and he almost snapped Dragon's ankle in half with the Ankle Lock until Liger made the save. The end came when Liger ran into a stiff right punch from Shamrock before stumbling into the Franchiser from Douglas which got his team the victory. Mike Sanders was shown backstage with April Hunter who asked Sanders why he requested the interview time. Sanders announced that he had just signed a globally known talent to come and work a few dates with NWA:TNA and he will be debut next week. Hunter asked Sanders who he was, but Sanders walked off without saying a word. Jeff Jarrett defeated. Rick Steiner. Scott Steiner was on commentary and provided some great lines. Rick Steiner was vicious out there, stiffing Jarrett on a few occassions but Jarrett fought back eventually escaping Steiner's attempted Steiner Driver and hitting The Stroke for the victory. Jarrett sat on the middle rope afterwards telling Scott Steiner to come into the ring. Steiner looked at the fans who popped loud, hoping Steiner would get into the ring. Steiner got into the ring and the two immediantly began to brawl in the ring. Jarrett got the upper-hand and clotheslined Steiner over the top rope. Rick Steiner restrained his brother from getting back in the ring, but it was obvious Scott wanted a piece of Jarrett as he removed his top. Jarrett worked the crowd afterwards. April Hunter was waiting in the Gorilla Position when Scott Steiner and Rick Steiner entered through the curtain to the backstage area. Scott almost immediantly snatched the microphone from Hunter and said that Jeff Jarrett has made the worst mistake of his life by wanting to get another beating at the hands of him. Steiner said that he'll put his title on the line anytime, anyplace and prove to Jarrett once again that he is the better wrestler. The brothers head off together. AJ Styles defeated. NWA:TNA X-Division Champion, Low-Ki to win the title. We ended the show on a high note with high-flying action from Styles and Ki mixed in with great wrestling. Both men seemed to have the match won on several occassions which left the fans really clueless as to who was leaving with the gold. Low-Ki went for the Ghetto Stomp but Styles got out of harms way and got to his feet before hitting a backflip kick and then climbing up top and connecting with the Spiral Tap to win the gold. AJ celebrated with the gold as the show comes to a close.

Cool that you have already done 30 shows. Jarrett-Rick was done a few weeks ago, but is fine now due to the new feud. Really liking the Douglas/Shamrock stuff. Lynn-Taka was great for a filler match. Liger & Dragon have really went down considering they main evented. Like the stuff with Scott Steiner/Jarrett, really adds heat to the feud that has been great already. For some reason I forgot about AJ/Ki. Good to have AJ win the title. Hope he stays as a cocky heel though, he pulled it off well.

-Jarrett/Rick was a given on this show -Great that Sydal, Delirious & Haze put on a good showing but love that York & Matthews won -Douglas, Shamrock, Buck stuff was kinda weird -Lynn winning was fine -Like Liger & Dragon putting people over at this stage -Wonder who the new talent will be -JJ winning was obvious, and the post match stuff was good and I see Jarrett winning the Title soon -Loved that the X Division Title main evented and thank god my favorite wrestler took home the gold ;D
Great show as usual, fantastic ending though

AJ as champ ohh yeah, also it was in the main event yay! Haze! nice team glad you brought them in hopfully unlike in TV you keep them round and build them up well, push Lynn like your doing now maybe a shot agaisnt AJ? Global star ehh? Sting? - Glad to see Sydal in TNA. Good way to start of the show, with Matthews/York obviously winning. - Interesting interaction between Buck and Douglas. - Lynn/Taka is a really good match. - Don’t like that Liger and Dragon are virtually jobbers. - Jarrett pinning Rick was the right call, leading to his title match against Scott. - Personally, I find that their was way to much of the Steiner Brothers on this show. - Styles winning the gold is cool. Good main event.

January 15 2003 - LAS VEGAS, NEVADA A brand new opening video plays before we cut to the arena where pyro explodes and Mick Foley and Mike Tenay welcome us to NWA:TNA live from Las Vegas, Nevada. This is TNA's new home and they have a pretty good set-up going. The current NWA World Heavyweight Champion Scott Steiner makes his way down to the ring with his brother Rick Steiner and his former WCW valet Midajah to a ton of heat from the Vegas crowd. Scott gets a microphone from Jeremy Borash and cuts a promo on Jeff Jarrett. Eventually Jeff Jarrett's music hits and he comes out from the back and cuts a promo from the top of the ramp. Steiner tells Jarrett to come to the ring now and see if he can take him out. Mike Sanders' music hits and he comes out. He begins to speak but you can't quite hear what he's saying because of the crowd booing. From what I could here Sanders announced that he doesn't like Jeff Jarrett laying a hand on the champion outside of a match so Jeff Jarrett will suffer. Sanders books Jeff Jarrett vs. Rick Steiner and Scott Steiner for next week. Yang, Kaz Hayashi and Gail Kim defeated Matt Sydal, Delirious and Daizee Haze.- Sydal, Delirious and Haze got more time here and they impressed once again. - Sydal hit Yang with a Shooting Star Press, but Hayashi broke the count up. - Yang then hit Sydal with a Michinoku Driver for the victory. April Hunter was backstage with Joey Matthews, Christian York and Alexis Laree. Matthews announced that next week him and Christian will take on Yang and Hayashi with the winner getting an NWA World Tag Team Championship shot. AJ Styles defeated The Amazing Red to retain the X-Division Championship.- AJ Styles made his first appearance with the X-Division title tonight. - He successfully retained the belt in a fast-paced contest with Red. - Red missed the Infrared which allowed Styles to hit the Styles Clash for the pinfall. Eddie Guerrero and Tylene Buck where shown backstage with April Hunter ahead of Eddie's tag team match against Shane Douglas and Ken Shamrock. Hunter asked if Eddie had found a partner for his tag team match to which Eddie told her he had and he's on his way here right now. Eddie Guerrero and Chavo Guerrero, Jr. (w/ Tylene Buck) defeated Ken Shamrock and Shane Douglas.- Chavo Guerrero, Jr. turned out to be Eddie's partner tonight. - Chavo was cut from his WWE contract in late-October in a cost cutting move. The company axed alot of their cruiserweights. - Douglas and Shamrock didn't seem bothered that Chavo was Eddie's partner, but their opinion soon changed when Chavo hit them with a series of high-flying moves. - Eddie and Douglas brawled around the ringside area when Chavo hit Shamrock with a Tornado DDT from the second rope for the victory. The camera cuts to Mike Sanders office where he has his feet on his desk. There's a knock on the door and Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat makes his return to NWA:TNA! Sanders immediantly stands up and shakes hands with Steamboat. Ricky says he's back and ready to take control as commissioner. Sanders laughs before telling Steamboat that isn't possible because the people above them seen that he was the better commissioner and he isn't just a temporary commissioner, but is the full time commissioner. Sanders says that Steamboat is his personal assistant and he wants him to get him some coffee. Steamboat doesn't seem pleased as he stares at Sanders. Sanders tells Steamboat he better get the coffee or he's done with NWA:TNA. Ricky heads out as Sanders grins. Jushin "Thunder" Liger defeated Lenny (w/ Lodi).- Jushin "Thunder" Liger was able to end his loss streak by beating Lenny in a short, but decent contest. - Lenny just worked the crowd any chance he could and got himself and Lodi some heat. - Liger wasted no time in putting Lenny away with a Running Liger Bomb. April Hunter interviewed Rey Misterio, Jr. and Konnan backstage about their main event title defense against The Steiner Brothers. Konnan said said that The Steiners are one of the most famous tag teams in the world, but him and Rey are one of the fastest rising teams in the world today and that's what will help them win. Rey Misterio, Jr. and Konnan defeated Scott Steiner and Rick Steiner (w/ Midajah) to retain the NWA World Tag Team Championships.- Mike Sanders booked this with hopes of giving Scott Steiner more gold. - Midajah once again accompanied Steiner to the ring. - This was a fantastic way to close the show with the perfect speed vs. style contest. - Jeff Jarrett's music played and Steiner, who set Rey up for a belly-to-belly tossed Rey down and watched the entrance ramp. - When Steiner had his back to Rey and Konnan, they hit him with a double dropkick which sent him over the ropes. - Konnan then hit Rick with a Cradle DDT and Rey hit a Springboard Splash for the victory. Scott Steiner had a tantrum at ringside while Rey and Konnan celebrated on the ramp. Jeff Jarrett is playing mindgames with Steiner.

CHAVO GUERRERO, JR.; RICKY STEAMBOAT & MORE! (www.pwinsider.com)
-- The big news coming out of NWA:TNA this week is that Chavo Guerrero, Jr. signed with the company after being released from his World Wrestling Entertaiment contract in late-October when the company cut developmental workers and dead weight on the roster. Chavo had only been featured on programming to job for several months before his release.
-- Speaking of the WWE, they have been apparently sending feelers to Eddie Guerrero to sign a contract with them again. Eddie isn't said to be pleased with the company after they released him in 2001. Another reason Eddie may not return is that he has a main event/upper midcard role in NWA:TNA but if he returns to the WWE he won't be that high up the card.
-- Ricky Steamboat has been training as of late and it's planned for him to wrestle a few matches in the future. Steamboat returned to programming this past Wednesday and is now Mike Sanders assistant.
-- The attendance for NWA:TNA's debut show in The Hard Rock Hotel and Casino was around 2,600. Management are said to be thrilled with this.
-- It's been rumoured that Eric Bischoff will be appearing in a on-screen role in the near future. We'll continue to update you on this as we get it.

-Decent opening promo, nothing special -Six person tag sounded great, love that Sydal got to show off the SSP -Hopefully York & Matthews get the Title shot and then the belts -AJ retaining is great -Love Chavo showing up and I'm glad they won -Interesting stuff with Steamboat being the assistant -Liger winning again was great -Love that the Champs retained as I didn't want Steiner with double belts
Good show, great to see this back man

Glad to see this isn't dead after all. Fine opening tag match there. AJ-Red was a great match there, like AJ as X Champ. Eddie & Chavo teamming up is cool, nice touch there. However, not a fan at all of Chavo pinning SHamrock, I think Ken is way better. Fine win for Liger there. Nice main event there, you're booking Rey/Konnan to be a top team for sure. Keep it up.

- tna is ls vegas? nice. - nice opening promo, good setup for next week. - good, solid opening match. right people went over. - more good setup for next week. - red's a good person for aj to defend the belt against first. gives aj a good victory. good stuff. - chavo being eddie's partner is cool. chavo needs to look strong in his debut so him going over works for me. - like sanders throwing his weight around. - have liger face lodi is kinda blah to me. - i was worried how the main event would play out, consdering the size advantage and the fact scott is the world champ. but it played out well and the finish made sense.

- Styles/Red is a great encounter. They seemingly never have a bad match. - I like Chavo being in TNA. Seems to me that Shamrock has been jobbing too much, though. - Sanders is the man, simply put. - Good to see Rick eating the pin in the main event. - Solid show.

January 22 2003 - LAS VEGAS, NEVADA The opening video plays followed by a pyrotechnic display at the top of the entrance ramp. Mike Tenay and Mick Foley welcome us to the broadcast and hype tonights main event which will see Jeff Jarrett take on The Steiner Brothers. Jay Briscoe and Mark Briscoe defeated Matt Sydal and Delirious (w/ Daizee Haze).- We kicked things off with fast paced, high flying tag team action. - Sydal and Delirious continued to impress as a team with their unorthadox moves as a duo and single workers. - The Bricoes got the win when they hit Delirious with the Spike Jay-Driller. April Hunter was backstage with Chavo Guerrero, Jr. who made his NWA:TNA debut last week. Chavo basically said it's great to be in NWA:TNA and it's only a matter of time before he has gold around his waist. Chavo Guerrero, Jr. defeated Low-Ki.- Chavo took on the former X-Division Champion in an exciting contest. - Both men exchanged momentum from bell to bell. - Chavo hit Ki with a Brainbuster for the victory. Shane Douglas hits the ring afterwards and attacks Chavo. Eddie Guerrero comes running down the ramp with Tylene Buck and Douglas leaves through the crowd. Eddie stands on the second rope staring into the crowd as Buck helps Chavo up. Christian York and Joey Matthews (w/ Alexis Laree) vs. Yang and Kaz Hayashi (w/ Gail Kim). (No Contest)- The winning team got a NWA World Tag Team title shot next week. - Both teams have been at each others throats for the past few weeks and tonight they fought hard with the chance of getting the title shot. - A brawl spilled out onto the outside and the referee reached the ten count. April Hunter was backstage with The Steiner Brothers and Midajah. The Steiners seemed awfully confident ahead of their handicap match against Jeff Jarrett - and they have every right to be confident. AJ Styles defeated Elix Skipper.- For once Elix Skipper didn't have Kid Romeo by his side. - Both men put on a spot-filled contest. - Styles has slowly been turning into a face as of late. - Styles got the victory after he hit Skipper with the Styles Clash. Mike Sanders was shown backstage in his office with his assisant Ricky Steamboat. Sanders is still bossing Steamboat around when Rey Misterio, Jr. and Konnan enter the office and ask who they'll be defending their titles against. Sanders books Rey and Konnan against Yang and Kaz Hayashi AND Christian York and Joey Matthews. Jeff Jarrett defeated Rick Steiner and Scott Steiner (w/ Midajah).- Although this wasn't the best match on the show, it got the best crowd reaction and was fun to watch. - As you would expect Jarrett was the punchbag for alot of the match. But he wouldn't stay down and took the fight to both Steiners. - Steiner locked Jarrett in the Steiner Recleiner and the match looked to be over but a masked man came through the crowd and tried to get into the ring. - The referee stopped him and Steiner went over and knocked him off the apron. - When Steiner turned around he was hit with The Stroke and Jarrett got the three. - Jeff Jarrett has pinned the NWA World Heavyweight Champion!

Usage of Briscoes is good. Not sure about Chavo getting gold, although maybe a Guerreros/Rey & Konnan feud would be fun. That or an AJ/Chavo feud. Ok guess it'll be AJ/Chavo seeing as how Chavo beat Ki. Styles/Skipper was a solid match there. Wonder who the masked man is. I'm guessing a JJ/Scott rematch is on the horizon. Good show, but again I feel like five matches isn't enough.

It's hard to get more than five matches since I only get 11 slots on EWR and after every match in TNA when they had weekly pay-per-views they had a segment after every match. It would be stupid to watch a match on pay-per-view and wait for the ring to clear up.
