I like that you use the Briscoe Brothers. I am not sure if I would like Chavo as a champion, but that is your call. Chavo going over Low-Ki was smart booking, no complaints. The aftermath is cool because it makes me really want to know what is going to happen with Chavo/Douglas/Eddie. The tag match was interesting, the countout was an unexpected finish and allows both teams to look good. I like AJ winning, good call. Jarrett winning was expected and a good decision. I wonder who the masked man is.
Overall, a decent show. I don't think I would personally buy it on PPV, if it was a real show, but it was pretty good.

-Opening tag match has Ring of Honor written all over it glad the Briscoes won -Not a fan of Chavo beating Low Ki, but I guess it works because Chavo's a big name -Was hoping York & Matthews would win, but at least they didn't lose -AJ/Elix would be nice to see, glad AJ won -Triple Threat Tag Title match? Awesome -Wonder who the masked man was. Where was Rick when Scott got pinned? Oh well, good that Jarrett pinned the Champ Overall, another solid show from you

- very rohish start to the show. the briscoe's going over is fine by me. - chavo going over ki works, trying to keep the new chavo guerrero strong. makes sense to me. - like the contiunation of the douglas/guerrero stuff with the post match. - fun tag match here. no idea what this does for the tag title match nexr week, three way tag match maybe? - styles/skipper seemed like filler. but it gets aj on the card and i've always kind of liked elix. so it works for me. - i do enjoy being right. - i like that jarrett didn't get the win in clean fashion. and the mystery masked attacker adds some intrigue for future shows. good episodic booking. jarrett pinning steiner also sets up the inevitable steiner/jarrett clash.
another solid show.

- Good opening tag match to start the show. Briscoe’s are fantastic. - Big win for Chavo Guerrero over KI. - Solid win for AJ Styles over Elix Skipper. Not a fan of a possible face turn by Styles, though. - Triple threat tag team title match should be good. - Jarrett pinning Scott may have been the wrong move. I’d rather have Rick Steiner eat the pin instead of the champion, in a handicap match.

January 29 2003 - LAS VEGAS, NEVADA Scott Steiner is seen storming down the halls with Midajah. Steiner is knocking everything over when Mike Sanders comes running up to him, trying to calm him down. Steiner says he wants Jeff Jarrett right now. Sanders says he can't give him Jeff Jarrett but he can next week. Sanders tells Steiner that he has a match booked for him for later and he knows he'll enjoy it greatly. The opening video plays followed by a pyro display. The camera scans the arena before focusing on Mike Tenay and Mick Foley who welcome us to the show. They both wonder what Mike Sanders has in-store for Scott Steiner tonight. AJ Styles defeated Air Paris to retain the NWA:TNA X-Division Championship.- I think the majority of the crowd expected this to be quick and boring. - However, it wasn't over quickly and it certainly wasn't boring. - Paris really got his chance to shine out there, as did Styles. - Styles picked up the win with the Styles Clash to retain his title. Tylene Buck and Eddie Guerrero where shown backstage with April Hunter. Eddie said that he just got back from Mike Sanders' office and it's official - next week it will be Eddie Guerrero vs. Shane Douglas! Christian York, Joey Matthews, Yang and Kaz Hayashi (w/ Alexis Laree and Gail Kim) defeated Johnny Swinger, Simon Diamond, James Maritato and Tony Mamaluke (w/ Dawn Marie).- York and Matthews and Yang and Hayashi have their shot at the NWA World Tag Team Championships next week. - But tonight they had to work co-operatively, and they proved that they couldn't work together. - Matthews pinned Maritato following the Virginia Neck Tie. April Hunter was backstage with Rey Misterio, Jr. and Konnan who had their tag title belts over their shoulders. Rey and Konnan said they welcome a challenge before they began speaking in Mexican. Scott Steiner (w/ Midajah) defeated Matt Sydal and Delirious (w/ Daizee Haze).- Normally in a match like this, Matt Sydal and Delirious would have the advantage. - But when you're facing a man with Scott Steiner's size and strength then you have the disadvantage. - Steiner just steamrolled through both men before placing them ontop of each other and applying a double Steiner Recleiner. - Steiner Gorilla Press Slammed the two of them out of the ring afterwards. Steiner grabbed a microphone from Jeremy Borash before he told Jeff Jarrett that what happened to Sydal and Delirious is his fate for next week. Steiner told Jarrett that he's going to find out who the mystery man is before breaking him in two and then doing th same to Jeff Jarrett. Steiner dropped the microphone and headed to the back while Sydal and Delirious lay in a heap outside. Mike Sanders was shown backstage in his office with Ricky Steamboat. Sanders told Steamboat that Scott Steiner is the type of champion that this company needs. Sanders tells Steamboat that he has a proposition for him before we cut to ringside. Eddie Guerrero (w/ Tylene Buck) defeated Jerry Lynn.- Fantastic tonight with both men looking great out there. - Both Eddie and Lynn had several chances to take the win but it was never enough for the three. - Guerrero pinned Lynn when he hit the Frog Splash. Shane Douglas blindsided Eddie afterwards and began to put the boots to him. Douglas pulled out a steal chain and wrapped it around his fist before pounding away at Eddie. Jerry Lynn pulled Douglas off and both Eddie and Lynn sent Douglas packing. Douglas grinned as he headed up the ramp while he blew a kiss at Tylene who looked disgusted. April Hunter was backstage outside Jeff Jarrett's locker room. The door swings open and Jeff Jarrett walks out with his trademark guitar. Hunter asks him about the mystery man and Jarrett tells her he'd love to tell everyone who he is, but he doesn't even know who he is. Jeff Jarrett defeated Scott Hall.- Scott Hall made his return to TNA here tonight. - Both men got fantastic ovations from the crowd, especially Jarrett. - Jeff Jarrett pinned Hall after The Stroke. - The camera focuses on the mystery man who is seen in the rafters staring at Jarrett. Mick Foley and Mike Tenay hyped next weeks show as the biggest in NWA:TNA's history as we will see the NWA World Heavyweight Championship on the line as Scott Steiner defends against Jeff Jarrett. The NWA World Tag Team Championships are on the line as Rey Misterio, Jr. and Konnan defend against Christian York and Joey Matthews and Yang and Kaz Hayashi. Plus Eddie Guerrero and Shane Douglas will finally lock-up and the NWA:TNA X-Division Champion, "The Phenomenal" AJ Styles is in action! It truly will be a night of champions.

Solid defense there for AJ, it's not like that would have been a feud or anything so the random title defense helps. Eddie/Douglas feud has been good. Fine six-man tag. Good way to put over Steiner as a powerhouse. Jarrett/Hall was a nice main event, although Hall needs rebound wins now. Next PPV looks awesome, I'll be reading.

-AJ retaining made sense, like that he's a defending champion -Guerrero/Douglas next week should be good -Glad the team with York & Matthews won the eight man tag -Hopefully Sydal & Delirious begin getting a push but for now, the Steiner squash works -Eddie/Lynn would be great, glad Eddie won -Hall returning is cool, but makes sense that Double J won
Good shot, but man next week's show looks fantastic. Hoping for AJ to retain, York & Matthews to win the Tag titles and Jarrett to win the NWA Title

Styles was always going to win this one, but it was great to see Air Paris getting a shot at the title. Nice eight man tag match, the right team won. Sucks that Sydal and Delirious had to job in a handicap match, it just makes them look really weak, but it also builds Steiner up. Guerrero/ Lynn would have been a great match to see at this time, looking forward to Guerrero/ Douglas next week. Jarrett was always going over here, and I'm hoping that it's Sting thats in the rafters. Another sweet show man, the next one looks packed.

- good way to start the action portion of the show. Styles and Paris have always had good chemistry. - Glad Matthews got the pin. - double Steiner Recliner is awesome. - Guerrero/Lynn is a really good contest. Guerrero winning makes sense. Hopefully Douglas goes over Guerrero. - Not a fan of the main event, something that wouldn’t interest me. - Next week seems like a stacked show.

February 5 2003 - LAS VEGAS, NEVADA
The opening NWA:TNA video plays before pyro erupts throughout the packed Hard Rock Hotel. Mike Tenay and Mick Foley welcome us to the show before running down tonights card. AJ Styles defeated Matt Sydal to retain the NWA:TNA X-Division Championship.- Sydal came to the ring without Daizee Haze and Delirious. - After Sydal out-wreslted Styles, AJ offered him a handshake to which Sydal accepted. AJ violently kneed Sydal and the rest of the match was in Styles' favour. - After several flashy moves, AJ finished Sydal off with the Styles Clash. April Hunter was backstage with Shane Douglas who seemed confident ahead of his Falls Count Anywhere match with Eddie Guerrero. Douglas asked Eddie is he is ready to be Franchised. Douglas then says he can't wait to show Tylene who the real man is. Eddie Guerrero is then shown in his locker room with Tylene Buck and Chavo Guerrero, Jr. Eddie is watching Douglas' interview on a monitor and he kicks a few things over when Douglas talks about Buck. Eddie storms off with Buck running after him. Eddie tells her to stay in the back with Chavo because it's not going to be pretty out there. Shane Douglas defeated Eddie Guerrero in a Falls Count Anywhere match.- These two brawled all around ringside and in the crowd. - Douglas thought he had the win when he hit Eddie with a steel chair but Eddie kicked out. - Tylene Buck came running down the ramp with Chavo when Douglas put a chair around Eddie's neck. - Tylene pleaded with Douglas to stop while Chavo took the chair off of Eddie's neck. - Eddie blasted Douglas with the chair. - When Tylene looked like she was going to leave the ring she low blowed Eddie who then hit Eddie with the Pittsburgh Plunge for the victory. Tylene Buck and Shane Douglas made their way up the ramp grinning while Eddie and Chavo looked on in disbelief. April Hunter was shown backstage with the current NWA World Heavyweight Champion Scott Steiner along with his valet Midajah. Steiner said it'll be his pleasure to rip Jeff Jarrett in two tonight. Shark Boy and Shark Girl defeated Delirious and Daizee Haze.- Although this was merely a filler match it was a damn good match. - All four workers put on a good match with the six or so minutes they got out there. - Shark Girl hit Haze with the Stunner for the victory. A video played hyping the upcoming NWA World Tag Team Championship Ladder Match between the current champions Rey Misterio, Jr. and Konnan, Yang and Kaz Hayashi and Christian York and Joey Matthews! Christian York and Joey Matthews (w/ Alexis Laree) defeated Yang and Kaz Hayashi (w/ Gail Kim) and Rey Misterio, Jr. and Konnan to win the NWA World Tag Team Championships in a Ladder Match.- TREMENDOUS is the only way to describe this. - I urge you all to order this show just for this match alone. - The match went on for about twenty minutes and was filled with fantastic spots with the ladders and without. - When Yang and Rey, Jr. where fighting to retrieve the titles, Hayashi and Konnan where fighting on the outside while York and Matthews where recovering. - Rey, Jr. hit a Sunset Flip powerbomb from the top of the ladder to Yang. - York did a dive to the outside taking himself, Konnan and Hayashi out while Matthews quickly climbed to the top and retrieved the titles. Mike Sanders was shown on his phone in his office. Sanders eventually hangs up and tells Ricky Steamboat that next week will be a historic moment in NWA:TNA as the new owner of the company plans to be here in the flesh. A video plays hyping the Scott Steiner and Jeff Jarrett contest which is NEXT! Jeff Jarrett defeated Scott Steiner (w/ Midajah) to win the NWA World Heavyweight Championship.- This match has alot of history behind it, but the crowd where still reeling from the previous match. - Both men done all they could to get the crowd into it and make the match enjoyable and they done a decent job at it. - Midajah looked to interfere when Jarrett hit The Stroke but was put over Jarrett's knee and spanked to a pop from the crowd. - Steiner took control of the match again but it wasn't long before the masked man appeared and distracted Steiner and allowed Jarrett hit The Stroke again. - This time, however, he made the cover and got the three. "JEFF JARRETT HAS ENDED SCOTT STEINER'S FOUR MONTH REIGN AS CHAMPION!!" Jarrett celebrated his victory in the crowd as the show came to a close.

-AJ/Sydal would be a great match and I love that AJ retained -I figured that Tylene would turn on Eddie, and this was the right time to do it. Glad The Franchise got the win -SHARK GIRL!! lol, surprised they won as I think Delirious needed it more -You are a GOD for giving York & Matthews the straps, especially in an awesome spot filled ladder match -New owner's going to show his face? Interesting -Again, loving the Title change. Never liked Steiner so Jarrett as Champ makes me happy
Great show, fantastic booking. My favorite show of yours yet.

AJ/Sydal is a good opening match, AJ's reign is getting credibility. Hope that he continues to use heel antics. Figured a heel turn was coming there, but it worked fine. Okay mixed tag match there. Ladder match was good although it's sad to see Rey/Konnan lose the belts. Maybe an AJ-Rey feud down the line? Jarrett winning is cool, Steiner had a good reign. Nice show.

Terrific opening contest, good way to get the show started. I loved both backstage promos, it really hyped the match. I liked the falls count anywhere match, happy Douglas won. I like the heel turn. The tag match didn’t do much for me, but it was a decent filler. Good idea to have a hype video. Like the new tag champions. I wonder who the new owner is. I like Double J winning, I hope he has a solid run.

Styles vs Sydal is an awesome match, I can only presumed they've faced each other before. Glad to see Styles retain the title though. Douglas vs Guerrero has been great so far, Douglas getting the win over a former NWA Champion puts him over alot. Shame Delirious and Haze didn't get the win. Matthews and York as tag champions are awesome. Same goes for Jarrett as world champion.

HEADLINING STARS SIGNED; STEINER INJURED?; MASKED MAN & MORE! (www.pwinsider.com)
-- Eric Bischoff announced that NWA:TNA have been in talks with several globally known superstars to come in and work with NWA:TNA. Bischoff has apparently been in talks with several former WCW superstars to come in as he doesn't feel the current roster has enough star power and if it does have more star power then they can draw in more crowds and get more buyrates. Bischoff made it clear on his website that unlike WCW the young stars will still get air time and will be gradually built up into the main event scene.
-- Scott Steiner was said to have injured his leg in his match with Jeff Jarrett this past Wednesday. We'll continue to update you on this.
-- Management are said to be really excited with the current masked man storyline. The identity of the masked man is being kept under wraps. An online rumour surfaced last week claiming that the masked man was Norman Smiley.
-- Delirious, Daizee Haze and Matt Sydal have all signed contracts with NWA:TNA. The trio have been appearing on NWA:TNA shows for the past few weeks but they hadn't signed a contract.
-- Michael Shane, who was injured several months back, isn't expected to be back in the ring until atleast June.
-- Apparently NWA:TNA are trying to bring in music artists to perform during their live events.

February 12th 2003 - LAS VEGAS, NEVADA
The opening NWA:TNA video plays before pyro erupts throughout the packed Hard Rock Hotel. Mike Tenay and Mick Foley put over Jeff Jarrett winning the NWA World Heavyweight Championship last week. Mike Sanders made his way down to the ring with a big grin across his face. Sanders said that last week he was informed that the new owner of NWA:TNA will be making an appearance on tonights show. Sanders says that he has got a cameraman out the back waiting on the arrival of the new owner. We cut to the parking lot where we see the camera focused on the entrance to the parking lot. A limo pulls into the parking lot and the door opens. We see a foot step on the ground before we get technical issues. We eventually cut back to the parking lot and we see the cameraman lying in agony next to the limo. Evan Karagias and Shannon Moore defeated Brian Kendrick and Paul London.- Karagias and Moore made their NWA:TNA debuts tonight and they had their old 3 Count gear on tonight and a remix of their WCW theme. - 3 Count where awesome. - Karagias pinned London after hitting a spectacular Outrageous Corkscrew. Karagias and Moore danced their way to the back getting alot of heat from the crowd. April Hunter was backstage with Gail Kim, Kaz Hayashi and Yang. Hunter asked Gail about Yang and Hayashi's tag team match last week. Gail said that it's a farce that Yang and Hayashi lost that match and that the master won't be happy. Hunter asks Gail who the master is but Gail ignores her and she storms off and Yang and Hayashi quickly follow. Shane Douglas (w/ Tylene Buck) defeated Chavo Guerrero, Jr.- Douglas and Chavo put on a fantastic match out there. - Both men exchanged momentum for the duration of the match. - Chavo hit Douglas with several fast-paced moves but then out of nowhere Douglas hit a wicked Franchiser for the victory. Shane Douglas cut a promo on Eddie Guerrero afterwards. He claimed to have it all. Tylene flicked her hair back when the camera focused on her before shoving it out of her face. Douglas said that Eddie Guerrero isn't here tonight because he is cowering in fear from him. Mike Tenay and Mick Foley hype upcoming NWA:TNA events and how NWA:TNA is held live weekly from the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada. Foley says admission is $30 and that it is a bargain price as you will see the best wrestling action in North America today. Christian York and Joey Matthews (w/ Alexis Laree) defeated Rey Misterio, Jr. and Konnan to retain the NWA World Tag Team Championships.- York and Matthews had their first title defense tonight against the former tag champs. - This one was an exciting contest and York and Matthews showed that they didn't win the tag belts by luck. - Konnan fell victim to the Virginia Necktie from Matthews. Mike Sanders is shown in his office not looking pleased in the slightest. Sanders is pacing his office when his phone rings. He answers it before hanging up a few seconds later. He tells Ricky Steamboat that the new owner just called and he's in a luxury suite in the Hard Rock Hotel. The Hard Rock Hotel crowd pop. Sanders says that he plans on making an appearance during tonights show but he isn't promising anything as he has an important board of directors meeting to attend later tonight. Scott Steiner (w/ Midajah) defeated Shark Boy (w/ Shark Girl).- Scott Steiner wasn't a happy man tonight after he lost his title belt to Jeff Jarrett last week at the hands of the masked man. - Steiner demolished Shark Boy in mere minutes before locking in the Steiner Recleiner and Shark Boy passed out. Steiner refused to break the hold afterwards. Eventually he broke the hold and attacked the referee. Steiner got a microphone from Jeremy Borash and said that the masked man is a dead man walking. Steiner said that next week he's envoking his rematch clause against Jeff Jarrett so he better shine his belt up real nice. Steiner then said that he's going to find the masked man and dstroy him. Steiner looked at Shark Boy and told the masked man that this is his fate. Steiner stopped in his tracks before going over to Shark Boy and began to rip his mask off! Shark Girl interfered but received a vicious clothesline for her troubles. Steiner left for the back with Midajah. April Hunter interviewed the current X-Division Champion AJ Styles backstage. AJ said that he has held title belts all across the world and tonight he adds the NWA World Heavyweight Championship to that list. Jeff Jarrett defeated AJ Styles to retain the NWA World Heavyweight Championship.- X-Division Champion AJ Styles had a HUGE oppurunity tonight as he got a shot at the world title. - AJ proved he is capable of working in the main event scene as he put on a fantastic match with Jarrett. - Styles' inexperience proved to be the deciding factor in this match as Jarrett put him away with The Stroke. Jarrett helped Styles up afterwards and handed him his X-Division title. Jarrett shook Styles' hand but Styles pulled away and quickly left the ring, obviously not pleased with losing. The masked man comes from the back staring at Jarrett. Styles stops in his tracks on the ramp and Jarrett stares at the masked man. IS THE MASKED MAN THE NEW OWNER?!?

3 COUNT! (Well, 2/3 of 3 Count) This is easily the best diary on the board. The way you book this reminds me of WCW (in it's better days, obviously). Your shows are excellent and honestly, if this was on TV, I'd watch it. Keep it up.

Being picky, it's "were awesome", not "where awesome". Sorry, I'm an English major. Anyway, 3 Count winning was fine but I hope they don't get too big of a push. Like the way the Douglas/Guerrero feud has been going. Not sure about Rey & Konnan losing so quickly again. Good intensity shown there by Steiner. Jarrett/AJ is a pretty sick main event, hope to see them meet again in the future. You have me interested with this masked man. Tough to guess, especially since you haven't really described his height and what not. Solid show.

I love this dairy. Who is the masked man!? Terrific main event. It was really cool to see 3 Count, but I hope they do not get pushed to the moon. I am really loving the Douglas/Guerrero feud, it is starting to become more personal. I am loving how Steiner is now a maniac. Solid show for a great diary.
