I think there’s a lot more collectors around in areas that people just aren’t aware of or think about. I’m sure sometimes they do buy and resell things but I’m sure it’s more regulars than workers

Walmart linden had some basic blue trunks balor. And some aew rings. Nothing else. Did they have any tags for AEW or elites? I went there a few times and never saw anything or the tags |

Honestly, it might be to just end the collecting. This past year wasn’t a whole lot of fun for me in terms of colleting. It was more of a hey cool I got it type of thing instead of me trying to hunt and find stuff. Between having to pre order, pay scalpers or just overall miss out on things, it’s not worth the aggravation. I used to love this hobby more than anything but the last year really was trying Have the same feeling, that this might be the year the hobby becomes too untenable or too expensive for me to continue. With the year+ waits, the manufactured rarity and demand, the continued uneven and insufficient distribution at retail, the necessity to always be attentive online for drops or else miss out, and my luck when it comes to finding the best deal after I've already made a purchase, all that took its toll and feels nothing like innocently walking into stores and getting the rush of finding a honeyhole. That’s another thing that really gets me. I’ll end up buying or pre ordering a figure and it’ll be found online half price a months later. Mattel is really starting to flub the line up. Between distribution like you said and other stuff |

i would sure hope no ones stupid enough to spend $250 for it, then again there was a guy that apparently spent $1500 for a chase John moxley a few weeks ago so I guess anything’s possible. I don't know how people are so crazy, and their parents give them so much to burn. Otherwise, they must be obsessed in a really negative way. I can't imagine someone who works their ass of all week to earn a paycheck dropping that kind of money on these modern figures
I could see spending maybe 40-50$ if you can’t find it in store or don’t feel like going store to store. But to pay 200+ for something that will be readily available is stupid |
