Do y'all think Randy Orton is in the GOAT conversation? Top 10? Top 10 of the modern era? Or is he just not in the conversation at all? I would say I'm the biggest Orton mark here or at least one of them. I think he's on the list of top 20 all-time greatest professional wrestlers maybe even in the top half of that list.

i would personally say he does not get near the top 20. but i'd say the same thing for a large amount of talent within the last 20 years, so that's just my take.
randy doesn't stack up to bruno, or savage, or any other top 100 wrestlers of all time to be honest. he wouldn't make the list.

In my fig ranking system of talent he's in the bottom half of the top 20, solidly a 5-star talent capable of carrying the entire company. I try to take in past accomplishments as well as versatility to work with a large range of opponents, both as heel and face.

Oh top ten for sure. His ability to stay on top for longer than most is incredible. Heās the Rock to Cenaās Austin. The fact that he still probably will be full time for at least a few more years only adds to it.

In terms of just straight up talent he's in the top ten. There are few better than him. Some people have more kayfabe accomplishments but in terms of skill he's one of the best ever. |

Bruno, Backlund, Hogan, Macho, Flair, Bret, Shawn, Austin, Rock, HHH, Undertaker, Eddie and Edge off the top of my head are all better.

I still canāt decide if Randy Orton is amongst the ābestā of all-time... but Iām not even sure if he shouldnāt be in the discussion. Iām torn.

I guess it depends how large or small a list one would have of the ābest ever.ā To say Orton is top 20 all-time could also be the same as saying heās one of the best ever.

I went with "great, but not all time". As others have said he is talented and entertaining but "all time" is a long historied list that I just can't put him at the top of. Now if this was a question of top in a specific decade, then yes Orton is one of the best to come out of the last 20 years.

I would def say he will never break top 10 but you can make the argument for him somewhere in the top 20-25. Once you get past the Hogans, Flairs, Michaels, Undertakers, Austins, Rocks, etc... and start getting into Edge, Guerrero, Angle it gets less definitive and more personal preference.

In WWF History, Id say he'd fall in the 10-15 Range....in Wrestling history, likely just outside the top 20. However we all know if WWE asked this, they would put him in the top 10 cause they always over-value their current stars making them seem more important then they really are.
