Haven’t had a chance to listen to this week’s episode but here is one of the covers of that comic book I mentioned.

How many different styles of wrestling figures do we need? It’s already oversaturated. ⁰⁰⁰ 2024 is the peak for wrestling figures. Its all downhill from here on out. Companies should try to get licenses for 80s and 90s toy lines that have yet been rereleased.... Would be interesting to see them try a thundercats sized poseable action figure line with limited points of articulation and soft rubber skin. Last idea left that could excite collectors. A 3 3/4 line would not last long unfortunately. A line that is playable and posrable has the most chance to survive long term. I'd throw money at a 3 3/4" line!

Edit: I removed the original author’s comment as he had wished to delete it without my realization. The below was in response to what he said/to try and show positivity and support in situations that may have turned us off or been discouraging. He has shown a great attitude about everything. I’ve had some less than great experiences in the past myself. Not too long ago I was called an a-hole, never admitted when I was wrong, a know it all, and told point blank that I wasn’t liked. That was pretty extreme to read. Anyone who knows me well knows what a loving, caring person I am. But rather than argue that I am not who he perceived me to be, I took some time to reflect upon how that opinion may have been formed. I can’t go back in time and change any previous interactions but I can take such harsh criticisms and use it to make myself better. With as long winded as I am, I can be wrong quite frequently. I make mistakes all the time! But I call it out, own it, and try to remember to apologize when I do. When it comes to being a know it all, I take exception to that a bit. I try to be as helpful as possible whenever possible. If I think I can help someone by answering a question or weighing in on something, I do. Now I try to do so more with a disclaimer about my level of knowledge in a subject or try to point someone in the direction that might be more helpful than I am. Thats my love and enthusiasm for this hobby; it doesn’t come from a desire to be viewed as an authority on something. As far as being an A-hole…YMMV. I will definitely debate something passionately, use sarcasm, and can absolutely see how my dry/dark sense of humor may not be funny to some. So I try to use that less often in general. All of that to say that I too have had reasons not to support their various companies but in my case, I am trying to use those experiences and turn them into a positive. This is my hobby and my passion and it’s a fairly small world. If one person has felt that way about me then there are probably others. Rather than not caring about what others think, why not use it as an opportunity to benefit myself and hopefully others? If things fit within my collecting guidelines, I’m going to buy it. Next month I plan to go to a higher tier within their Patreon. I can’t wait to see what this line ends up being and the discussion surrounding it. I’m legit happy for everyone on the Major Bendies team as SDCC is a big deal and can bring about some amazing opportunities for the future.

Yesterday’s activities on social media seemed to heavily lean towards a non-wrestling line. Lots of “other” pop culture things shown. Depending upon the form factor, I might be inclined to buy more of those than I would wrestling just because I’m not looking to collect a new wrestling line at this time…but there are plenty of movie and tv shows that I would love to have representation of. I know Matt has been talking for years about wanting a line of Monster Squad figures…that would be quite the accomplishment if he found a way to make it happen.

Looks like they have a Major Moments statue line with wrestlers doing something iconic like Macho doing an Elbow drop

The MajorStars line I’ll likely pass on. But that Macho MajorMoments (I assume) mid-flying elbow looks great! Depending on price point, I may dabble on that line!

I kinda like these (I love lines like this) but I want to see how they're presented/packaged/materials etc. At first glance it looks like it could fit on the broader family of Brawlers/Minis/Pops I collect.

They vaguely remind me of those Loyal Subject figures mixed with 16D figures but are more aesthetically pleasing

So these are like smaller versions of the rare Star Toys, I remember first seeing one on the old Figure It Out show and now the Major Pod has come full circle. Really cool!!!!

They have nothing in common with the star toys figures that had rooted hair, grotesque faces and extremely exaggerated physiques

Can you tell of the heads would be in scale with regular six inch figures?

would love to see how they scale with the other "small" figures like 16d, knucklecrunchers, retros etc
