The reveal was made! Below was the original info full of speculation: http://instagram.com/p/C95Swpuv83O As talked about this week on the MWFP, the boys are at it again with a new toy line! But what is it? Who is in it? Let’s look at what we know so far: -The announcement is set to come at their panel at SDCC 2024 in just 10 days. -Panel is scheduled to include Matt Cardona, Brian Meyers, Mark Sterling, Kanik, Brian Baity, TTD, and will be hosted by Joe Shoes. -Apparently that panel cannot be live-streamed. Please see bottom of this post for Time/Date/Location -A few weeks ago, it was ruled out that the Major Bendies company was no longer interested in entering the Galoob-style market. -After the panel they will be doing a signing at Headlock Comics’ booth which will have an exclusive comic for sale. http://instagram.com/p/C9VQF-LvARS So what do you think we will see? Does the comic book potential tie into this new toy line? Will we finally see the adventures of STOMP In Paradise play out or are they going a different direction?

I’ll guess BCA or OSFTM ECW style. Both of which I have no desire for

BCA’s would have to be few and far between for me to want but much like the BRG series, I love seeing them. I know they are pretty friendly with FC but I am unaware of any partnership or potential friendly competition. OSFTM ECW style figures feel like a pipe dream but I would be all over some of those.
Reaction style figures are something that haven’t really been done on a large scale. They’re somewhat inexpensive to produce from what I gather, good size for smaller displays, and might be easy for wrestlers to travel with for signings given how compact they are.

Maybe the smaller articulated figures, similar to the Sheik, Hulk, JYD, Bundy prototypes that Matt acquired a while back? What are those, probably 4"?
While that may be tempting for them to continue with those plans for that scale from all those years ago, I would just throw out this thought, though it would probably be too late if they're already doing the 4 inch scale.
If any company is reading this, someone please replicate the 80s style GI Joe ARAH 3 3/4 inch figures as wrestlers, to include the same points of articulation, complete with rubber O ring and screw (just in case the O ring breaks). My preference is the same elbow and knee joint styles, with the single bend, not that newer style with the extra bend.

My preference is the same elbow and knee joint styles, with the single bend, not that newer style with the extra bend. As much as I would love to see the GI Joe style figure, multiple companies have said that it might end up costing as much as an Ultimate due to the amount of pieces necessary/all the points of articulation. I have no way of knowing how well they would sell or what their price points would need to be to turn a big enough profit to justify it. Personally, I would find it hard to spend more than $30 per figure for something like that. If they were to have a lot of reusable parts, it might be even less desirable for collectors. But I’m not knowledgeable enough in that area to say what will or won’t work.

I would LOVE for it to be OSFTM-style ECW figures. There's so many gaps to fill: - Bill Alfonso
- Chris Chetti
- CW Anderson
- Danny Doring
- Eliminators
- Francine
- Masato Tanaka
- Mikey Whipwreck (grunge + Unholy Alliance looks)
- Mustafa
- Roadkill
- Spike Dudley
- Stevie Richards
- Tracy Smothers
That's just off the top of my head.

John Morrison Matt Striker DJ Gabriel Mike Knox Sylvester Terkay Ricky Ortiz But more seriously, a continuation of the OG ECW line would make for some awesome displays/figure photography.

Brian is a HUGE ECW fan, so it could be related to that. They’ve been teasing their love of the Jakks Maximum Sweat line lately too, so maybe a resurgence of that? I can’t imagine what would strike my interest. I’m good with the BRGs and want to see that line continue to grow with deep cuts from the WWF/LJN era. Get me Hercules in ring gear, Bad News Brown, King Haku, Dino Bravo, Butch Reed, Tama, The Rougeaus, Danny Davis and more!

I know the retro/Hasbro market is flooded, but if anyone could pull it off, it would be these guys.

If there is one thing these dudes know how to do, it's make money from their fan base. It was no coincidence that they basically set various stages for certain lines to absolutely explode during the pandemic, i.e. Hasbros and Bend-Ems. While I don't foresee them doing Maximum Sweat style toys, and I don't listen to their show, if they have been hyping that line recently, then it's a safe bet they are positioning themselves to expand that market.

"Brand new product line" leads me to believe that this is not a new figure line.

Maximum Sweat would be funny - and I do agree that there is a history of positively discussing things shortly before a business announcement - but I think that would flop and be a jumping of the shark moment. BRGs and Bendies have a bigger universal appeal. Maximum Sweat always felt like a “yeah…that existed” or “I had a few and played with them when I was really young” kind of line. Can anyone recall there being very many collectors/completitionists for the original line? They also might be expensive to produce and might require bigger packaging which again, would add to the cost. For those reasons I don’t think it’ll be Maximum Sweat but would love to watch how it unfolds good or bad.
