Latoonie has signed Ric Flair. I’m noticing a pattern! lol I don't mind this at all. Let's see what they can produce. While I really loved the BRG ring gear Flair as soon as I saw the first pics, there are a few things that I noticed once I got it in hand that I think leaves wiggle room for improvement, and same goes for the BRG line as a whole. Lots of great figures, but their style does deviate a little from vintage LJNs with certain details, even though they are the closest so far. Let's see how close they can get to capturing the feel of these being a continuation of the LJNs, that is, if that's the direction they plan to take with these. I hope this new line succeeds! I’d love to see LJN form factor take off with multiple brands making figures! Competition brings out the best in each company too!

Absolutely! Iron sharpens iron and such.
I’m happy that several Hasbro-style companies came along as they are fulfilling different needs. Had it been just one or two, we never would have gotten a lot of the names or if they did get signed, it would have taken forever for them to be released.

I’m hoping the niche of this line, or another small company willing to take chances, would be to do the deep cuts that others won’t: Young Stallions, Killer Bees, Outlaw Ron Bass, Red Rooster, etc. That could be really fun and flesh out our collections!

Hope they are able to move beyond the same half dozen or so names...Savage, Flair, Andre, Slaughter & Road Warriors, that most of the other indy companies seem to be using.

Any chance we’ll be able to see the finished product of Macho before the end of the preorder? I’d be interested if it looks good MOC with vintage style packaging, similar to the art shown on the site. Also, and I recognize it’s polarizing on here, but if any YouTube/pod influencers can get early access, like the Major Pod, Kyle Peterson, and/or FigHeel, that may help ease our trust too to have them do live unboxing/ reviews while we can still order. I know it would help me! Thanks for the consideration!

I’m not seeing it, and the link is just showing Savage and a Flair announcement. It’s Andre, I assume?

Thanks! Gotta admit it’s looking good! But significantly taller than LJNs (hence your prior post, I’m sure).

I want to support and make purchases from these lines but give me a actual reason to want your product and stand out on your own!
A larger version of the original ljn savage with repositioned arms is not the way to do it in my opinion. I really think they need to go back to the drawing board on this one.

Until/ unless they announce WWF LJN era talent that Big Rubber Guys isn’t already doing, I likely won’t bite.

Is that done to avoid any potential conflict with BRG? And I was kind of on board with the concept of the smaller versions but looks like they squashed the proportions a bit to keep some semblance to Harbros. So I get why but now i can decisively say theyre not for me. I just wanted downscaled LJN style figures.

I'd be interested in seeing the Bulldog, that might be a purchase for me.

If these are going to be bigger than LJN size, just barely bigger isn't all that appealing. Go BIGGER or go homer.

100% my thoughts. I said the same thing about the scaled down versions: If you want to appeal to the Hasbro audience, you have to keep them within that scale. Having them barely bigger or smaller just feels like a wasted opportunity.
