Recently a new company has thrown its hat into the figure arena but not much is known yet. Top Rope Collectibles appears to be run by the same person who runs 3XR Studio. I honestly don’t know much about him/what they do other than their decent following with the customization community. Edit: Apparently not according to 3XR TRC have been working towards building a buzz by staying somewhat secretive while trying yo get people to guess what style of figures they plan to produce. Today they made this post which seems to heavily suggest they are going the Galoob route: http://instagram.com/p/C6ttfn4Me9p This could mean absolutely nothing but here is a list of wrestlers they are currently following. Some are legends, others aren’t as well known. Would love a Scotty Flamingo. I'd buy Shane Douglas in this style if they could do a Steamboat. All of my major wants seem like they'd be tied up with WWE. Rude, Austin, Cactus, Vader, Diamond Studd, Vinnie Vegas. Muta would be really cool. Ricky Morton seems like a layup for these. Not getting excited until we see something, though.

What do you mean by a “layup” ? As in the basketball term for an easy maneuver/easy score. Ricky Morton was one of the few Galoob figures that was in the works but ultimately never released. Much like R&B Greg Valentine or the Hasbro Orange card series, there is a built-in demand due to collectors wishing they had that figure. It may not set the independent toy industry on fire but it probably would make a lot of people happy. Pic for reference:  |

Can they tell as anymore about the larger accessory/playset they are working on?
Are they all coming with belts? If so, can they describe what will they look like?
Will they be using the same factory as the Epic style Galoob figures?

Will they scale accordingly with original Galoobs well enough to fit into, or to be accepted as a continuation of that line?
Will the poses and attire selections harken back to the originals in terms of them being in ring gear and appropriate wrestling poses (as this was something that was missing with the last independent company to try their hand at the Galoob style, plus the scale wasn't right)
Are there plans to distribute these worldwide, and if so, are any UK/US (etc) variants being planned, like we saw with the original line.

Epic is doing a new line but hasn’t come out and announced what they are just yet. He is quick witted and would probably find a humorous way to neither confirm nor deny. |

I have a theory about what Epic may be planning in terms of "playset" but not sure.... sounds like a logical move in one sense, but depends on a few factors |
