What happened to the RVD he showed off years ago?
I’m glad I never got into this line or any of the other hasbro tribute lines. This line started as pretty cool & is trending to below average likeness and slow & slower releases and unfulfilled expectations. Expectations that zombie himself set.

RVD signed a contract with WWE shortly thereafter and the figure was canceled to avoid any legal trouble (this is what I recall hearing; feel free to see if anyone else heard differently).

You must be my alt account because this is the same "negative" stuff I have said! What a strange coincidence.
I just watched the Major Podcast for this week and I guess I am the only person who is looking forward to a Big Bully Busick figure. When he debuted I was all in on him and was kind of disappointed when he was gone a few months later. I hope that Mitch can get his Harvey Whippleman figure out soon to go with Busick. I also hope that his hat does not fall like Slicks, I assume not since he wont be swapping hats with anyone.
I'd like to believe that I had a hand in Busick's figure coming to life, as I recommended Zombie get in touch with Bully's son Branko on instagram and set that wheel in motion; Big Bully Busick is one of my dream figures. I am pretty miffed that it's going to be a limited run SDCC exclusive, I'm terrified I will miss out on it. Heard some good stories about the guy but I don’t know very much about him/his life. He had such a good, cartoonish look and it works perfectly as a figure. That said, I’m not sure it would be a hot seller if he were making 4000 of them.

I've also been intrigued by Bully. He came and left WWF in months. He didn't even stick around for a PPV payday at Survivor Series. He didn't work for other major promotions that I can think of so maybe the road schedule was not to his liking. He never returned to WWF in any capacity, he didn't do many autograph shows. I met him at one in 2007 and I think he did one a few years later. He had a promoter in Ohio (same one for Nikolai/Bobby Fulton "no ring") bring him in for a few shows, but only in a capacity for doing interviews/not wrestling. He had an energy bar company and seemed to be into health and fitness but sadly passed due to cancer. His final years kind of remind me of Dr. Death Steve Williams. Edit: Just checked wikipedia and it says he had a run in late 70s, early 80s WWF.

Quick question, not sure if this has been mentioned before so apologies. Has anyone tried turning One Man Gang into Akeem? Has anyone made custom clothing to do this? I know Sabotage wrestling make custom clothes for wrestling figures 6inch scale.
I don't own a One Man Gang figure yet so would need to get circumference of his forehead if anyone knows it so I can get to work and hopefully make something half decent.

I guess I’d ask “why?” get the Hasbro Akeem figure? OMG has a Mohawk and black tights so it wouldn’t be very accurate for Akeem

In that case, I think you’d be better off getting a 3d printed Akeem head with a beater Earthquake/Typhoon Hasbro body

He should have advertised them as a pre-order if he didn’t have them. Not the “in-stock in two weeks” garbage that we all knew wasn’t going to happen. All he needs to do is be up front and he wouldn’t have this awful reputation.
Still looking forward to P&G. One day.

My wife ordered (not pre-ordered, because he added that *after* the first wave of orders) Power and Glory as a birthday gift for me. My birthday passed 7 days ago. No word when these will arrive. Maybe by Christmas

Did anyone buy the Bruce Lee? I wonder how well those sold. I feel like the casual collector market for a Bruce Lee figure would only be interested in an in-stock item.

I don't know how many Bruce Lee fans would be buying a 'preorder' from a relatively unknown brand/name who (at that time) hadn't delivered most of the volume of announced figures he'd previously put up for preorder
also, why would collectors put their money into buying a small figure with virtually no articulation when there are much better, more detailed figures on the market?
most completists I know would view brands like ZST as bootlegs and not credible brands that they'd regularly buy from
