How does ZST handle customers letting him know when figures arrive with detached bubbles? Been a few years since I've done business with him. I never had issues in the past. But all these stories of retro figure makers instantly blocking customers who reach out with concerns has me a bit gun shy lol

Interesting Todd didn't sell 1,500. I could see the market for all of these cooling down. I wonder how Tunney does.

Got my Series 2 order in last Friday. For those curious, my original order date was October 27, 2022. Initial impressions are along the same lines as other reviews I’ve seen. The figures are very well made. Probably the best card stock you’ll find for a Retro series. Bubbles are in immaculate condition. I’m mostly a loose collector, and it still bothered me to disturb the figures as they were. Haven’t taken Raven’s accessories off him yet, but it’s easily the best leather jacket I’ve encountered packaged with a wrestling figure. Andre is much too pale, and the gloss is a little much for Bundy, but the sculpts themselves are strong likenesses. I’d rather Brody have the fur sculpted around his boots instead of making them separate fabric pieces. I really like that Gage’s bandanna lays flush on the back of his head. Removing the tape from Sullivan’s back does not damage the paint in any way. It’s too soon for me to say whether or not I like Series 2 more than previous offerings from Zombie. I think the accessories pack more of a punch this time around. From what I remember about opening Series 1, the cards are in about the same condition, if not better, for Series 2. With the exception of one little chunk missing from the side of Brody’s card and some minor warping, you’d have to nitpick the hell out of them to find anything wrong. I think paint apps have improved too, but I’d really have to go back and compare them to Series 1 to say for sure. I never regret purchasing from this line, and if anything, I find myself anticipating future releases more and more with each arrival. Series 3 could be the best set yet. How does your Raven sit? I think mine is defective, unless I'm not doing something right. Instead of the right leg coming straight out like the left, it only goes off to the side like he's trying to do a split. Defective? |
