For me personally, Chella did it with Dynamite. I know everyone wanted him in the same attire as the Hasbro Daveyboy, but I wanted him in his singles attire, any singles attire. Needless to say that I bought both. Not the best Dynamite figures but I'll take any. The new one from Epic is a much welcome addition. I think if Epic were to do a repaint of the new Dynamite mold with the white pants, then it might piss off a lot of collectors, but I'd happily buy it! They could repaint that mold twice, in the white and the '88 attire and I'd buy both, lol. Saying that, those Chella versions remaining the only two in those attires will at least keep them unique. I do hope we get a repaint of the Bulldogs, though, in their LJN attires.

What do you think the chances are of Zombie doing a Dean Douglas, or Body Donas Skip? More theoretically possible though, I would love a repaint of Jarrett, like in the colors of his Major Bendie/IYH July 95 attire. I think it is a case by case basis. Zombie is very strategic when it comes to his choices involving what may cause legal issues. That is why he hasn’t touched certain characters or looks in the past (according to him). So Dean Douglas is already unlikely…but given how much Shane Douglas hated that character/that run, I am guessing it would already be a no even if Zombie could get away with it. Chris Candido on the other hand might be able to get away with a Skip figure. I’m not an expert on Chris so I don’t know if he ever wore a blue singlet outside of WWF. If he didn’t, it might be harder to make a Candido with the Skip look without violating intellectual property law. Yeah, I knew Dean was pretty much a never in this lifetime, but who knows maybe in a few years Shane won't really care as much anymore, especially if it means he makes money on it.

I am fully expecting a repainted Jarrett on a blue card and a blue card release of Booger given the extremely heavy promotion of the "Orange Card" Bastion Booger which doesn't rule out releasing a different card (yet the same figure) at some point soon
I could see ZST releasing a white repaint of Jarrett to give a WCW-esque look, to get around potential WWF challenges of the blue outfit

Honestly not sure. In the All Things Retro thread, there was some talk around March of this year involving people waiting to see which Mabel figure was better (G&G or H&F). I don’t really remember that but it’s there. No idea about Mo being signed. I added the name to the list after the MWFP pointed it out (it’s on the ZST website).

The purple/pink was basically a copy of his WWF Hasbro anyway. That being said though, I'd like to see both versions, I would love to have more WCW guys from the mid 90's.

a "variant" like the blue Andre is ok, if it's a one-off variant, but doing like Mitch and releasing multiple repaints of the standard figures is just money grabbing

I don't mind repaints if the mold matches the attire. And that would work with Double J, but I also wouldn't mind a Double J in the Jake body, seen alot of customizers do that and I think it looks good. It does annoy me that Mitch used the same molds and made fantasy gear though that didn't match the molds. That being said I bought the NYCC set so I guess I'm a huge sucker haha. Now that King Mabel he showed, I'm not really a fan of, that should really be a different mold. I am glad Zombie has MoM signed too, hopefully that also means a King Mabel is coming.

Anyone manage to get Andre's head off?? It's supposed to come off so it's interchangeable with Black Strap Andre but feels like it's going to break when I try to pull it off.

I definitely plan to swap heads when it comes to my permanent display. Even the artwork seems to reflect that the heads should have been the other way around. Maybe it was a marketing decision? You can try using a hairdryer to loosen it up but I’m not sure how the H&F materials will hold up to direct high temps.

Surprised there not more pics snd reviews of these Are they not in hand yet or people just not posting reviews / thoughts? I received my figures and am very pleased with them. I think Chair Shot did a very good, thorough review of the highlights of series 2. My biggest complaints now that I have mine in-hand seems like a very small quibble. It’s the size of the feet. I feel like everything else scales to Hasbro very well, except for the feet. I compared Bundy to Mattel Lawler, Rush Jonah, G&G Mable, and Hasbro Crush/Perfect/Adam Bomb and the feet are much smaller in width and length. Chair Shot also pointed out that Raven’s torso is a little smaller in width than other figures. But, I think he does look great overall. He will fit in much better in a WCW/ECW retro display than Haku or Stevie Richards will. Which is a shame as I really wanted to snap some pics of Raven with the bWo.

Does anyone know what defender cases would fit ZST Andre? Also, some news. Years after teasing him and months after G&G put him up for sale, Josh is teasing Henry Godwin:

Interesting, do we have any idea if he's doing both guys? Or just Henry?
I kinda want a Henry in different style to represent his singles run.

I got a Sabu the other day, probably nothing here that most people haven’t discussed, written. It’s a very good quality figure, looks good, feels good, great detail. In my opinion, definitely not hasbro style - more shrunken elite style… but the biggest thing for me as a loose collector… it doesn’t stand up 😆 what a joke. I saw something online where zombie said just heat the foot with a hairdryer 😆Glad i didn’t preorder and wait months for it. Personally i wouldn’t buy more of these.
